   Still the best sushi in Austin! Uchi always has delicious and high quality food. We love their sushi AND their meat preparations from bream with a touch of lime zest and sea salt to slow cooked waygu nigiri. They course out your meat nicely so you can savor all the amazing and thoughtfully prepared dishes. We took our daughter here for her birthday and Sarah helped to make it very special. Service is always top flight.

   Best sashimi in Austin. I loved the sake and probably could have done without the tempura but the atmosphere was awesome as was the service.

   Dining at Uchi was simply wonderful! The food is DivinWe had the beef skewers, the waluwalu. shag roll. It was all amazing. And our server was the very best!

   First time at Uchi. Top notch experience. The food, service, ambience was perfect. We went for happy hour and they have a pretty extensive menu for happy hour. Lovely time

   We savored Happy Hour as well as a few favorites from the standard menu, such as the Uchi Salad, a hand-held lettuce wrap with layers of flavor and texture. There’s just nothing like it anywhere. We appreciated the zero proof drink offerings —complex and sophisticated—and would love to see even more options in this category.. Our server Meghan guided us expertly. It was a perfect dining adventure. As Austin’s food scene has exploded, Uchi continues to lead and innovate, reliable and surprising.

   This was my second time at uchi and I can honestly say it gets better the more you go. It was a marvelous experience the first time, but the second time was much better since I was more confident with ordering outside the 9 course tasting menu. They have so many delectable dishes it’s insane that one restaurant can produce so many of my favorite things. 15/10 would recommend!!
