Two Olives
We are proud to have a scratch kitchen. We mill our own spices, grind our own meat, dry our own herbs, and make our own dressings. We use natural ingredients from responsible purveyors, and we source local whenever possible.
For diner we practice the custom of serving shareable dishes, called “mezze” in the Middle East and “tapas” in Spain, with drinks. This is an important and delightful feature of Mediterranean life, signifying leisure, camaraderie and good humor.
For lunch, we shift the experience to encourage guests to routinely take a quick guilt-free break to recharge their mind and body.
Every Sunday we offer a chef's spread of enduring specialties. Our brunch has been recognized as a Wichita favorite by the Wichita Eagle.
Food and service were very good. While limited the Valentines menus had something for both me and my wife.
Jeremy, thank you for your 5-star review! We hope you had a happy Valentine's Day and invite you to join us again soon to try our extensive lunch, dinner, and brunch menus.
We love this place. Food is always superb. Shockingly it is never busy... highly recommended!!
Our server Ryan was EXCELLENT!!!!!
Thank you for your review Tracee! We are so glad you had great service and look forward to serving you again soon!
We will be going back. It was perfect! Everyone in our party enjoyed their food.
There is no point in putting to much detail because there is nothing they could have done.
Johnny, we take hospitality very seriously and wish to learn more about your experience with us. We would love to have another opportunity to provide an experience that exceeds our standards and your expectations. Please send us an email or give us a call at (316) 524-2290 so we can discuss how to make this right for you. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you. -The Two Olives Team
The service was slow, she said they were busier than expected. The food was ok. Definitely a once or twice a year place rather than a regular.
Felicia, we express our sincerest apologies. We have sent you a direct message with more information on how we can make this right for you.
We had brunch and food was delicious. The service was wonderful from the moment we walked in.
It was the first time there. Overall good experience. We went early on NY eve so it was quiet.
Best eggplant ever! So nice to see
A menu worded “Vegan”
First time. Went for brunch. Service was so slow and the food was all cold. I was given a practically hard croissant and I couldn’t even cut my waffle. I understand it is buffet without people serving their own food, but I thought it would be plated a little nicer too since we had a server plating it. My husbands plate was piled high with a bunch of food touching that shouldn’t be (waffles on top of the Mac n cheese) and it looked horrible.
We express our sincerest apologies. We have sent you a direct message with more information on how we can make this right for you.
The staff was extremely helpful in helping me select from their menu. Their food was also incredible and I could tell each plate was individually.
We had a wonderful meal. The food was tasty and came in a reasonable amount of time. They were practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
The right portion sizes for the price we paid and a good number of wine choices to complement our meal. We don't go often because they are East and we live far West, but we have always enjoyed the food and experience when we do go.
We chose 2 Olives during the Covid-19 'surge' and wanted to eat outdoors. They have a patio, but it's right next to a major 4 lane road so if cozy and quiet are what you want, this might not be your patio. For us, it was spacious and airy so it suited the bill.
Service was great - even though we were the only folks on the patio for most of dinner, we never waited for our server and she did a great job.
We're big fans of Mediterranean Food. Enjoyed the Mezza Board. Baba Ganoush, Tabouleh and Hummus were great! The Muhammara was tasty but a bit too thin for me; I prefer it thick enough to scoop, not dip.
Fatoush Salad with Skewers to follow and would definitely recommend.
Lebanese food in Kansas? Yes indeed. This is some of the best Lebanese food we've been served. The tabbouleh was refreshing. The Chicken Shawarma Kabob (garlicky and fork tender) with Hashweh and the freshly made Kibbie Nayyeh were outstanding. How good is the food? The Kibbie Nayyeh and Hashweh are better than (wife's grandmother's and wife's aunt). Service was friendly but disappointing. Nonetheless, what an absolute treat. We would definitely return if in the area again.
It's amazing how professional they are about handling the food during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was our first time at the Two Olives. My husband and I are a great time. Their French theme menu was delicious for Sunday brunch. Will definitely be returning.
Late Father’s Day dinner
I think this was the first brunch hosted since COVID-19. We were seated right away, and drink orders taken and delivered right away. Next we were given paper menus to circle what we wanted from brunch buffet that would be brought to us. We couldn’t hear the waitress with her mask on and she was soft spoken. A manager or owner cane by and apologized for wait around 30 minutes, then our meals came out. None of our orders were 100% accurate but we were hungry and ate it anyway. We ordered again and we were told they were out of most things we wanted so they substituted. When we ordered dessert those ordered weren’t correct either. We joked it was lunch roulette you get what you get. We won’t return for brunch until covid is over but would recommend a normal lunch or dinner where you order off the menu.

Me and my Father came here for Fathers Day amind Covid 19 so I knew what to somewhat to expect, with it being a Sunday Brunch Buffet. What I experienced was something entirely different. First the make you make a reservation to secure seating, which is fine a 12pm reservation. Was not.busy at all a few family's here and there. Got seated fairly quickly. Took the waitress 10 mins to approach, take drink orders and let us know how we order food since it was an altered buffet. You order from a paper list of food a d as many times as you want. They take your order and it gets made. We got out instructions and marked what we wanted quickly. Took another 10 mins before she came back and took in our orders. We received our food an hour from walking in the door and food was room temp at best. I order eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit biscuits and gravy. Eggs were cold, gravy was semi cold. Filled out the sheet once she dropped off our food and took 15 mins before she showed up again. Mind you other waitresses were working as well and alot quicker on the draw with refills, and checking in with customers.asim typing this now we are still waiting to even see our waitress to pick up our 2nd order. Would not recommend this place for brunch during this time. Slow service, subpar food and no one seems to care minus 1 or 2 ppl
I made a reservation online, got confirmation. Showed up and it was closed! Maybe update your website to not book reservations for times when it’s not open.
Very good! Something light and doesn’t leave you hating yourself after you are done. Great food.
Helpful friendly waiter. Clean setting with table a safe distance. Food was full of good flavors. We'll be back.
Went for Sunday brunch and were blown away with the quality of the food and service was great. The new way of brunch was very clever of them with the little sheets. Can’t wait to go back!
I love everything about this restaurant! Good food, wonderful staff & very accommodating for dietary restrictions. What can I say? Go see for yourself!
Our waitress was amazing. She was knowledgable about the menu and the wine and was attentive and had a positive attitude. We will definitely be back. Also, the vegetarian options were great. Over 1 million people a year become plant based eaters, so glad you have veg options.
My husband and I had brunch at Two Olives. Hostess and waitress were very polite, responsive, and helpful. All the food was delicious.
The food was very good! We will definitely return.
The food and service at Two Olives on Valentine's Day were outstanding. Food portions were sized properly, and the presentation was very attractive. The service was very well orchestrated. The service staff was watching all customers to attend to any concerns. The restaurant was attractively decorated. Prices were very reasonable. The only negative comment was that it was too cool - many people had to put coats on shoulders. (My husband and I are both very cold natured, and it was very cold outside).
Overall - an outstanding experience.
We had never been to Two Olives before but always dine out for Valentine's day; so we are accustomed to set menus and understand that there is an increased volume of customers during this time. That being said we are more tolerant of some delays or an occasional mishap. We have been pleased at every restuarant that we have been to in the past for Valentine's day, until now. The atmosphere was like a school cafeteria. There was no ambiance! No candles or flowers on the table and to top it off, it was so cold I had to put on my heavy coat. The waiter was rushed and not at all pleasant. As I looked around, it appeared they were all disorganized; taking wrong drinks or food to tables. We started the evening with an appetizer, the charcuttery board. It had some olives, salami and a hunk of patte. No cheese and no crackers. We had to ask for bread, they took their time bringing 1 roll, (YES 1 roll). For the main course we ordered the Lamb and Sea Bass for dinner. The lamb was like a beef stew (meet chunks in gravy with carrots and potatoes) and the bass was like a thin piece of talapia served withwhat was likened to rice a roni. It was nothing special! To top it off we ordered dessert, I am gluten free and accustomed to being able to find something on menu I can eat, We asked for ice cream, there was none, so we tried the gluten free chocolate cake. It was so dry we didn't eat it. This meal was so disappointing that we decided we will have to have a "do-over" Valentine's. We spent over $120 and with so many wonderful restaurants in the area we will never waste our money here again!
Exceptionally good service. Excellent food and moderately priced.
A delicious experience Wichitans need to remember when deciding "Where do we eat tonight?" Food was excellent, our waitress Cyleste was fabulous and I can't wait to go back. We need to support our locally owned businesses or they will disappear in the clutter of the chain restaurants.
Thanksgiving dinner. Food was OK. They were well organized for the event.
Went for Thanksgiving Brunch. Too over crowded. Service was poor. Waited a long time for drinks and water. No offers of refill. Hardly saw our server who made excuses for being busy with other tables to see us. Food was good quality but mostly cold because of long service line, poor buffet layout and crowding. Just a bad experience.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We truly apologize for the poor service and your overall experience at the Thanksgiving Brunch. Normally, our servers are incredibly attentive, but we agree that what you experienced was unacceptable. We'll take this review to heart and do our best to improve. We want to make it up to you and provide an exceptional experience for your next visit. Please call us at (316) 524-2290. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
There were 6 of us for dinner & although the server took our order in a timely manner, it took a very long time for the meal to be prepared. It seemed to be a kitchen issue not a server issue. Once the food was served everyone was happy with their meal. The Bagatelle french bread they serve is the best in town. Wine prices a little high.
Martin, We are so grateful to hear that our server took your order in a timely manner and that the Bagatelle French bread is the best in town! We do apologize for the long wait time for your meal to be prepared. We want our guest to have exceptional service throughout their entire dining experience, so thank you for the feedback. We are also so glad to hear that everyone was happy with their meal. We are looking forward to your next visit!
Fund raiser for SEHS France trip
As a first time Sunday Brunch patron at a single table, I was amazed at the variety, quality and presentation of the food. The cold table with the smoked salmon, salads and cheeses could have been sufficient fare, but the hot table was just as memorable and satisfying. The portobello ravioli was a work of art. My waiter was personable and provided just the right degree of attention that made me feel like I was dining with family. Afterward, I commented to several friends that I was reminded of past experiences when dining on cruise ships. I highly recommend Two Olives for an enjoyable experience.
Thank you for having brunch with us, Jack! It is wonderful to hear that you were amazed with the variety, quality and presentation of the food. We always want our guests to feel like they are dining with family, so we are beyond grateful you felt that way. We can't wait to have you back!
Best restaurant in Wichita have been on top for years Toubia’s do it right food is fresh and there is no one in town that compares !
Thanks for coming in and dining with us, Frank! We're so happy to hear that we are on the top of your list and greatly appreciate the review. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Food temperatures for nearly everything at the different stations except for omelettes and pasta cook to order were not hot enough. Server was not very attentive. Had to wait several times for her to come back by to fill drinks, bring our check and then come back to take our payment. Not worth the lofty price for brunch. Disappointed for your special event.
Randy, It is a great disappointment to hear that the food temperatures were not hot enough at our stations, but we greatly appreciate the feedback. Also, we sincerely apologize for our server not being as attentive. We want our guest to feel like they are always receiving exceptional service. Thank you so much for your review. We would love to have the opportunity to make it up to you. Please call (316) 524-2290. We hope to hear from you!
The food was very disappointing. Trays were either continually empty or what was available was dry.
Trish, we are greatly disappointed to hear about your experience with our food. We apologize for not meeting your expectations and would love another chance to make it up to you. Please give us a call at 316-524-2290, we hope to hear from you soon. -The team at Two Olives
The staff was very friendly and kept our table clear. We had one small snag in the very beginning getting our drinks but nothing after that. The food was amazing and atmosphere was fantastic.
Thank you for the great review, Chrissy! We're glad you enjoyed the food and that our staff was friendly and attentive. We do apologize for the small snag in the beginning of your experience. Can't wait for your next visit!
