   Twisted Tree is the best steakhouse in St. Louis. The steaks are always perfect, the apps / salads rock. The service is personal and knowledgeable. Just a great expeirence.

   Salad was okay. Steak was great! Baked potato was good. Dinner rolls were way too tough. I’d love to see a soft roll vs. the hard ciabatta bread that was tough to eat. Service was good. 4 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Went for my wife’s birthday and was great from the appetizers set the tone and the salad was an amazing surprise. Then the steak was so delicious and to top it off the cake was beyond decedent. This was our first time here but we’ll definitely be back.

   Not sure how this place gets such good reviews? We started with a glass of red wine. Usually served with a slight chill, but apparently they don’t have a wine fridge. The meatball appetizer was ok, it’s not what they describe on their menu. The salads were fine. But there’s so much waste serving a whole family style bowl for just one person (we got two different salads, so each had a huge bowl to serve ourselves out of). Not sure why the bread comes to the table in a paper bag? Lastly the entrees…awful. In fact, terrible. Chicken spiedini was ridiculous. It appeared to be a frozen breaded chicken breast with perfect grill marks, warmed and cut up into pieces. The pasta with it had a white sauce with no flavor whatsoever. The salmon was overcooked except about an inch of the middle part of it. All of this for $140. We wont be back. We could have gotten a better meal at a fast food restaurant and paid $120 less for better food.

    We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Twisted Tree. The food was tasty, the setting was fine, and the slice of wedding cake we were given in recognition of our 45th made the occasion even more special.

    Steak was tough and bland nothing special about it. Could have went to Outback Steakhouse for a juicy steak. I will say the fried lobster tail was good,but overall my steak wasn’t that good nor tender for it to had been an aged steak

    This entire experience was terrible!!! I called to make sure there would be a quieter area for us to dine for a romantic night out. I was assured there would be. The entire hour and a half we were there it was louder than a Buffalo Wild Wings on football game nights. There was absolutely nothing about this experience that justifies a $200 tab. The steaks were good but not exceptional. We each had a glass of red wine-it was excellent. Our server was good. When I asked to speak with the manager after we paid and were walking out, she was unbelievably nasty. In fact, she basically said “oh well”, until I told her I had a good blog I was going to feature this on. She then chased me out of the restaurant. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen! I highly encourage anyone reading this to go anywhere else. A McDonalds would’ve been a better experience. Not joking. Run. Run. Run. There are many other places I’d happily drop a couple dollars. This one isn’t it.

    I’ve eaten at twisted tree a few times. The salad is insane! What made our night was the service. Tim was outstanding. Very personable and had great recommendations. We wanted for nothing the entire night. Haley was also great. Both were very attentive.

    Service was quick. Loved how they brought the steaks to your place over a flame to keep hot. Serving the salad family style was a nice feature. Ended the evening with a Brandy Alexander ice cream drink -- heaven!

    This was my second time visiting Twisted Tree and it was underwhelming after a great experience my first time there about 6 months ago. Service was decent, host staff was very welcoming and quick to get us seated, but the wait staff was not as welcoming and engaged as my first visit and not up to par with the restaurant’s prices. Food was hit or miss for us, the shrimp appetizer we ordered was delicious, but we were a little turned off by having to assemble our salad ourselves. My wife’s salmon was very tasty but also quite overcooked and the mashed potatoes that came with the salmon were just ok, kind of bland. My filet was delicious and cooked perfectly and I chose the Oscar style to add lobster, which was a bit over cooked. The asparagus was good and I enjoyed the overall dish despite the overcooked lobster. We also received a complimentary slice of wedding cake for our anniversary but it just seemed like it was old, not fresh, which unfortunately solidified our negative experience.

    This is a great restaurant. Very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff, bartenders, etc. Very good drinks. Dinner was good with the exception of a pasta dish that was so rich I couldn't eat it. Salads and side dishes were extremely good. Not a cheap place to eat but definitely worth the price. We'll be back but I won't order pasta

    We had excellent service & the French fried lobster tail & prawns were delicious. It was a perfect place for a birthday celebration. We can’t wait for our next dining experience at Twisted Tree.

    We had a very nice special birthday dinner at Twisted Tree. I had pre-arranged for cocktails to arrive at the table when we were seated . I wasn’t sure the message would be conveyed to our server but Grant delivered our welcome drinks right on time. His professionalism carried us through the evening . Dinner was delicious as always . Thanks to Grant and his assistant Megan- excellent job! The only negative was the sound system which really didn’t sound anything like music- just static noise blaring loudly into the dining room. Other than that - a wonderful evening.

    Each time we visit Twisted Tree, we are reminded of how this has become our favorite restaurant. Great service, excellent food, very nice ambience. The only challenge is that parking can be a bit of a bear at times, but that can be easily overcome with a watchful eye and a quick prayer to the patron saint of drivers (Christopher maybe?) Make reservations well in advance--it has become the favorite restaurant of many other people too!

    Absolutely exceptional food and service. Steaks are out of this world fabulous! Everyone from the greeter at the front desk to the wait staff were friendly, and attentive, always wanting to make our evening special. Best steakhouse in the area! I would give it 100 stars if I could!

    Twisted Tree, as usual, did not disappoint. Food was great and service was excellent. Henry took very good care of us and brought the birthday girl a piece of cake at the end. I think he even overheard her say she likes her steak charred on the outside while he was taking everyone else’s order because her steak came out exactly how she likes it! Kudos to him for being so attentive.
