Awesome place. We both enjoyed our meals. Beef Bolognese Was great and the French onion soup and salad were good too. Parking was a little tough, but once you get a spot there is so much to do.

It is a nice place, think you need to know what to order, both our entrees were good, but not great. The side salads were excellent and for the money, very reasonable. Did enjoy our appetizer of the dips too.

The food was delicious and service was great. The beef bourguignon was so tender and flavorful. The J.C. Burger was juicy perfection. And the tres leches cake was to die for. We will be back!

Bert enjoyable. Brussels sprouts were good but different than a year ago - which we preferred. Like so many they served a so called smash burger that was not smashed. Delicious but not as advertised. We will be back

Went to Twisted Laurel to celebrate my birthday. I included this information in my reservation via OpenTable. Not one soul said a word to me about it. I’ve been a hostess at restaurants using OpenTable. I know what the ‘Special Occasion’ markers look like on a reservation. They’re obvious as hell. It was disappointing to be ignored. The service was excellent — until they got super busy. The noise level was manageable — until they got busy. Overall, good food, but I wouldn’t go again for a special occasion, nor would I go if I were hard of hearing. I left full of good food, but overall disappointed and with my ears ringing.

First time here with 2 friends. Began with Greek salads which were very good, but could have benefited from more feta, tomatoes and cucumbers. Shared an Italian hero pizza which was delicious. Great server. Although we live in Kenmure in Flat Rock, we’ll worth the drive and we will return.

Made a reservation for three and the time was a little early, but the restaurant was fairly full. Even though we made a reservation we were set, probably in the worst table which was near the door and then February at 6 o’clock at night. It’s a little chilly, and you get the air on your back as people walk in and out. There were other tables open, so I’m not quite sure why we were sat there. Overall, all of our dishes were great, and our waiter was very attentive to our needs.

The three of us all were extremely pleased with everything we ordered. Cocktails, appetizers and entrees all excellent. I’m local and it was my initial experience. My friends came in from Tennessee and given several choices we selected Twisted Laurel. I spoke with them afterwards and it was decided that the next time we get together in Asheville it will have to require another visit. Hopefully it will be soon. I had the pork tenderloin. Tender, flavorful and beautifully presented. The girls had Eggplant Parmigiana and Beef bourguignon. Everything was delicious

We went for Asheville Restaurant week and took advantage of the special menu. The food was delicious. Especially loved the crispy brussel sprouts. The trout was very fresh. The pastas were really good. There was one diner who had her phone on speaker and was having an ongoing converation with someone. It was very annoying. Eventually when diners were seated directly next to her she got off her phone. Am I the only one who is bothered by hearing someone's conversation via speaker? Overall, the service was friendly and quick. The parking was really easy and cheap. People next to us were having pizza and said it was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place.

Had lunch at TL with my family, including 2 small kids. Our table was perfect — tucked away in the corner. The food was no more than mediocre. I ordered the French onion soup and it was basically a bowl of red wine with croutons + cheese. Said nothing about wine on the menu + I’m allergic. The waiter made it sound like he was doing me a favor by taking it off the check when I sent it back. It was also the worst French onion soup I’ve ever had. I’m not even sure you can call it French onion. We also ordered salads, burgers, the dip trio appetizer— nothing stood out as delicious or different. It was all pretty disappointing + blah.

We tried the restaurant for Restaurant Week and we will be back! The food was thoughtfully seasoned and presented. Notably were the pasta in white whiskey sauce, mountain trout and pork with apples. The service was attentive, prompt and friendly. Definitely a keeper!

Made a reservation for 1 just 30 minutes before, got there about 15ish minutes early and was sat immediately. The wait staff was very attentive to my needs and made sure I was taken care of throughout my entire meal. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you guys for an awesome experience!
