   Heard great things about this place from friends, but the service ended up being the most disappointing part. There was a definite lag, and while I can usually be forgiving, especially on a busy Friday, even as the place started clearing out, the service didn’t improve. Not somewhere I’d bring family visiting anymore. We had to flag down other servers just to get extra things like drink refills. The food was decent and simple. Maybe it was an off day or maybe my expectations were set too high, but it just wasn’t for me.

   The Twister Laurel Meatball appetizer is absolutely delicious. They also make an awesome tasty salmon with a nice side of mashed potato and corn. Their version of an Old Fashion is delicious. My husband had a pizza which I tasted and had the best breading and sauce. The atmosphere is always upbeat and uplifting. Its always great prior to attending a production at the Asheville Community Theater.

   We've been to Twisted Laurel several times, and we've always had excellent service. The menu has something for everyone, and it's elevated but not fussy. Looking forward to returning!

   Great spot! First time to TL and will be back! Loved the food, service and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

   Excellent food and service. The meatball appetizer was delicious and the chicken sandwich was crisp without being greasy - perfect!

   Twisted Laurel is a great place for lunch, or anytime! The Med bowl is delicious and just the right amount. Long honored as one of Asheville’s best, you won’t be disappointed. And good weather bonus, they have a great front patio with awnings to provide shade but not block the breeze.

   A great meal and atmosphere. Really enjoyed their drinks as well! Pizza and salads and apps were so delicious and our server was great.

    My wife and I shared the hummus appetizer and it was overly dry. I enjoyed the chicken shawarma rice bowl; however my wife felt the Caesar Salad was “limp”. Pizzas and handhelds though looked excellent and will return for that next time.
