   The food at Twisted Cork is amazing. Love the new atmosphere; very hip. And, as always, the service is impeccable. The servers are most helpful in making suggestions and go out of their way to care for the diners. Always a great experience dining at Twisted Cork.

    I always love the food here, and did during this visit as well. But our server - while efficient - seemed to be just going through the motions - tense smile, no eye contact, no interest in responding to bids for connection.

    Twisted Cork has become our favorite restaurant in Omaha. Food is always outstanding & service is great. Our only complaint is that the wooden chairs are uncomfortable. comfy new chairs would make this place perfect!

    First time eating at the Twisted Cork last night. Went with a friend and we made reservations. We were seated immediately in a tight area with our neighbors about 1 foot away. The server was quick to greet us, and we got our drinks in a reasonable amount of time. The menu has lots of options, with a range of prices. My dish, took a while to arrive and could have been hotter. The flavor was good, but I think my salmon was overcooked. Dessert took a long time to arrive, but my friend's was piping hot and was described as delicious. I thought the pricing was a little expensive for the portion size. I would maybe try for lunch, but not again for dinner.

    Server came within a couple of minutes and asked if we had any questions on the menu but never asked for drink order and then didn’t come back for nearly 10+ minutes again. We then placed our order for drinks and all of our food for fear we’d never get to order. Drinks took another 10-12 minutes to arrive. Our appetizer and main entree food came out at the same time. Prairie Fire steak was incredibly over spiced. Salmon was great! Family enjoyed the hot pot and crab pot bowl although the hot pot was served in such a hot skillet that it fried the rice in the bottom. Dessert cobbler was amazing! Server was better at end of the meal regarding attention but by then we had already formed our opinion sadly. Had dined once before and sat at bar and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. This time not nearly as much. Will give them another shot given that anyone can have a bad day. Sure hope it’s better next time!

    Unique Northwest themed (Washington/Oregon) design & layout, with wines to match. Excellent, creative menu; great food overall and attentive service. Had not visited in quite some time but TC was a pleasant surprise! We'll be back.

    This place is not great, especially for the price. We had a salmon dish, a steak dish and a burger, as well as the popovers for an appetizer, with waters to drink, and it was $100. Nothing was great. The waiter said they have the freshest seafood in Omaha and the salmon definitely tasted frozen and was over cooked. It was served with corn that definitely tasted frozen, and was also just weird given the Asian flavors on the plate. The steak was cooked well but lacked flavor and the sides were bland. Disappointed given the great reviews I read beforehand and the price. Wouldn’t recommend and probably won’t ever return.

    Overall we have enjoyed the food here. First time ordering figgy chicken. It was drowning in balsamic vinegar. I could smell it immediately. Don’t recommend this dish but in general the food has been good in the past.

    Amazing food & great service. Will definitely be back. I have yet to find a restaurant that I enjoy going to as much as Pacific Eating House and now Twisted Cork. My only request would be that pacific eating house start carrying stuff to make a Tito’s mule. :)

    Such a cute place, everyone enjoyed their dinner and my wild halibut was incredible! The service was excellent, our waiter Steven went above and beyond to make sure my friends order was 100% GF due to her food allergy (even brought out the ice cream ingredients list for confirmation) Overall great food, great atmosphere and excellent service.     Lovely space, but we found the food lacking - lobster that was overly salted & served warm not hot, tough steak & bland fish. The salad & dessert were the best parts of the meal. Waitress brough us cappuccinos and sugar but no spoons until we asked, then gave us soup spoons. Limited wines by the glass. We agreed we won't return.

    We were so excited about the reopening of Twisted Cork, it used to be amazing! This experience was probably the worst I’ve had in a long time. This was a little valentine date for my husbands oldest daughter, she was so excited. The server was either just miserable or hated us, not sure which but she was not any fun, not at all helpful with suggestions for drinks or food and was in such a hurry to get us out at 7:45 that she didn’t even bother to see if we might want desert or an after dinner drink or anything for that matter- the food was okay, not great - it’s really beautiful inside and I’m sure had we had someone that wanted to be there - this might have been a totally different experience- but we won’t ever be back after last night - so disappointing

    The service was slow. It seemed as if our waiter was actually a host who had been reassigned to the wait staff. He appeared disinterested in serving customers. We were seated along the inner wall so close to other diners it seemed we were all dining together as one big group. This is unacceptable. Other tables were well spaced. Lastly, we ordered the small plate that we thought was crackers and goat cheese. We were highly disappointed to find there were no crackers, but small pieces of potato chips. It was a joke! I think the chefs must have been laughing at this so-called small plate. Who eats goat cheese on potato chips? Nobody!

    We had a great dinner at Twisted Cork. The parking lot was packed when we arrived and we were thankful that we had made a reservation. With all the hard surfaces in the dining area, the atmosphere was pretty loud because it was so busy inside. We were seated in a table for 2 by a window. It was chilly under the air vent and even my warm natured husband mentioned more than once that the cool air blowing was making his ears cold. I kept my coat on throughout the meal and stayed fairly comfortable. Our waiter was cheerful, patient attentive and very knowledgeable. He made helpful suggestions on the wine and food items even though he hadn’t worked there very long. The Elk Cove Pinot was bright and full bodied and carried us through salad to dessert. We started with the house salad- a mustardy balsamic dressing that complimented the kalamata olives and tart goat cheese, the ribeye which was cooked perfectly. Delicious! And the kanpachi, which had a crispy outside and buttery texture that paired very well with the somen noodles it was served on. The Seasonal Slump dessert was warm, gooey and worth the wait and the Ghirardelli cookie dessert is much better than the simple description on the menu. It is a large, thick cookie- more like a torte, crispy on the outside, but soft inside and served warm under ice cream. Aside from the noise and chill, the service, food and wine were above average and we will be back.
