   We really love coming to Twin Owls even though is it a a long drive for us. The food was delicious yesterday and the service was excellent but the only reason I gave a 4 star overall was that we weren’t told when we started to order that they didn’t have the Pork Chops. At most restaurants they tell you the specials etc but the next thing that should be mentioned is what they don’t have. My husband always checks the menu ahead of time when we go out for dinner and he tells me what he is going to order. Yes, he was looking forward to the pork chops yesterday! Again, very good food.

   We had high hopes for Twin Owls but service was probably the worst we have had in a very long. After getting up to go to the bar to order our own drinks, the bartender finally found our server. Bartender was great by the way. Food was average. Since this was a vacant trip, we don’t need to worry about giving it another try.

   Really a terrific higher end steak house. Amazing views and really good menu. Highly recommend and call it the best restaurant in Estes. Great service as well!

   It is difficult to adequately describe our experience at Twin Owls. We had heard it was a nice place to dine, but wanted to try some other local restaurants. While we had good experiences at the other local restaurants…Twin Owls stands heads and shoulders above the rest. From the hostess, to our bartender, Javier, to our server, Aubrey, to the owners, Thad and Sandra, to the other staff…we were surrounded by excellence. Our meal was outstanding. While we planned for our only meal at Twin Owls to be tonight, we have rearranged our schedule to return for at least one more meal. We will remember our very special evening at Twin Owls with fondness and recommend this amazing restaurant to anyone who is fortunate enough to visit this very special area. Thank you all for making our time here so special.

   The restaurant has gone 'downhill' Last time we ate there, we were served bread with our meals. I ordered the prime rib dinner which came with ( a tiny amount) of potatoes and vegetables. This time, there was no bread and the prime rib dinner had no potatoes or vegetables. For the same high price, bread and sides were eliminated unless you paid extra. A total price gouge! We have been coming there for our anniversary dinner for the last several years. We won't be back. The service was rushed, not allowing time for cocktails before the entrees.
