My wife and I dine at Twin Owls on all our special occasions. We take out-of-town guests there when they visit us.

Food and service were great except the steak-which was dry hard to cut and mediocre at best. Another server spoke so loud it hurt our ears. We wrote in the memo of the reservation that we were celebrating our 40th anniversary. No acknowledgement at check in or by the staff although several people came over to wish someone at the very next table a happy birthday several times during our meal. NOT GOOD

Beautiful views, good service. Dinner was expensive, but it was a very enjoyable evening. Disappointing that Al a cart side dishes were individual portions rather than shareable.

Another top notch dining experience for my wife and son’s family. Everything about our evening was perfect. Service was excellent and the food was exceptional!! Always one of our go-to places to eat when we are in Estes Park.

The restaurant has a beautiful location and amazing views, make sure you request a window seat with reservations or get there early to get one. The staff was attentive and our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. We had elk, buffalo and beef and all were cooked just as ordered. The veggies were all in my opinion all undercooked possibly intentionally however carrots were hard to cut with a steak knife. Overall, it was good but pricey for the meal.

We went for our anniversary dinner. We ordered prime rib, my spouse ordered a end cut. The waitress stated they had plenty end cuts. We were brought a prime rib, not an end cut. Sent it back. Waitress began to tell us the board stated there were end cuts. She said they could bring another prime rib. My husband declined as he stated my meal would be cold. She said they could keep mine under a heat lamp while his steak was being cooked. Said no. We split my dinner. The carrots were not cooked. The manager never came out to apologize. Over priced for the quality. Very disappointed

The views were absolutely phenomenal and worth going for alone. However as steakhouse connoisseurs, we were both very disappointed with our meals unfortunately. Both steaks were very tough, hard to cut and simply not enjoyable. The starter bread (which they also charge for) was also not fresh (although served warm), once it cooled it was rock hard and like a hockey puck. No thanks. But the views were stunning! Salad and dessert were great.

We had a group of 13 and chose Twin Owls Steakhouse for our one special night out during our vacation in Estes Park. I selected the restaurant based on its stunning views and appealing menu, and was really looking forward to the experience. The view absolutely lived up to the hype—it was beautiful and added a great touch to the evening. However, the food was hit or miss. About half of our group enjoyed their meals, while the rest felt theirs were lacking in flavor or not cooked to their liking. Service started off strong, but once the food was served, it became difficult to get our server’s attention. We had to ask multiple times for basic things, which was disappointing. Considering the premium price point, I expected a more consistent dining experience. The atmosphere was lovely, but overall, the food and service didn’t quite meet expectations.
