Tutta Pesca
Tutta Pesca was inspired by a longtime friendship with a gentleman, Fortunado. He was the owner of the former restaurant here in Hoboken, Tutta Pasta. Having started a construction company in 2008,Tutta Pesca was built by Cara hands and finally came to life in 2015. Our decor is inspired by boutique seafood shops on the lower east side from the 1950s-1970s with a personal touch from our family.
Our Italian- American seafood restaurant strives to provide quality food in a relaxing, family oriented atmosphere. Please take a moment to fill out our comment cards and let us know how we're doing. We value your thoughts and suggestions to help us provide

Amazing!!!
Fantastic food and ambience. Very attentive staff.
A unique locale with fantastic food. All of the good things we've heard about this place were accurate.
Food was interesting and delicious! Would go back again in a minute.
Very unique and tight restaurant Food overall it was very good that the cheapest place but overall happy with the experience and will go back again
This was my second time at Tutta Pesca, and it was just as fantastic as my first visit. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The fish is uniformly delicious and the waitstaff is welcoming
Completely disappointed with the customer service as we were rushed by staff due to another reservation following ours. We selected a 7:00pm reservation on a Wednesday evening and were told to leave around 8:20pm. After ordering two appetizers, two entrees, a dessert and espresso drinks, our check was placed down on the table (which we never asked for) as we were still eating. Not thinking much of it, we paid the check only to be told by multiple staff members about an impending reservation and the table was needed. Just to note, we had full glasses of wine still to be consumed as well as coffee... I recommend Management looking into how they handle future reservations and customers, as the food is good, they just need to ensure clients will return to eat it.
Food was phenomal and service was impeccable. I will definitely return.
We had a great experience at Tutta Pesca. The food was amazing with outstanding service. Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. I understand why this is a favorite in Hoboken. It was probably the best restaurant I've been to and look forward to coming back.
Really excellent food and super friendly service
Tutta Pesca really lives up to the hype. All the food was excellent especially the octopus and Chilean sea bass. The cheesecake was also one of the best I’ve had. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes seafood to make sure they go to Tutta Pesca. It is the high quality benchmark in the area.
Andrew is a great waiter!
Everything as usual... Amazing food, amazing service!
It was a cold day. I am sure if it had not been for the arctic blast the restaurant would have been great but sitting near the wall was uncomfortable. My wife was actually saying that there was a breeze coming out of a utility box on the wall.
The place is small but you aren't picked in. Expensive but food is fresh and good portions. BYOB or order from the local wine shop.
The food was outrageous. Everything from the raw bar to the creme brulee. We feasted on clams, oysters, tuna tartar, grilled octopus for the appetizers. Scallops over risotto, Chilean sea bass and mixed seafood over squid ink linguini for our entrees. We finished our meal with tiramisu and creme brulee. Overall one of the best meals we've had.
Seafood is definitely fresh and well prepared, though they can use a pound less butter and tablespoon less salt. We sat on the 3rd floor, the smallest table for 2 imaginable, with very little heat (we were provided a next to table space heater - I am guessing they had other complaints.) Both fish entrees were in the high $40, let's say almost $50. It is a BYOB but the wine glasses they provided (not matching) were very poor. There is a lot that can be done to improve this to an exceptional dining experience.
I will absolutely be back to Tutta Pesca. The service was outstanding and the food was incredible. I love the intimate setting being that it is a small restaurant with few tables. I have never been to a restaurant where the menus are actually iPads with photos of every dish, which was awesome and made it much easier to order. I would recommend this place to any seafood lover - it was some of the best I've ever had.
This restaurant is amazing!!! Staff is warm, friendly and extremely attentive. I absolutely loved the music!!!!!!
I’ve heard so much about this place & it did not disappoint. It was a cute little BYOB with a fish market on the first floor and dining on the second and third. I had the lobster ravioli and it was unbelievable. My only complaint is that they are a bit annoying about the 90 minute seat restriction. I was fully aware of that heading into the night & I felt I kept being reminded by the staff.
Phenomenal in every aspect
The food was fresh with interesting preparations and pairings. The tuna tartare was well and above the best I’ve ever had. And, the whole branzino was delicious, especially since they filet/de-bone for you; just caution to those that get a little queasy, the fish is ‘whole’ as in full head, tails, and scales attached.
I truly enjoyed dinner at Tutta Pesca. In many restaurants I find that the fish is overwhelmed by sauce or breading, here the fish is the star. We shared the ceviche which was delicious and so fresh tasting. I had the Blackened Tuna which I thoroughly enjoyed. Was surprised at the large piece of tuna I received. The menu is a tablet which was great because the restaurant is a bit dark so it is easier to read and also see a picture of what you are ordering. Our waitress was very attentive. It is a bit pricey but also a byob so you can save there. I would definitely recommended.
Overall positive experience. Great food and service. Only two opportunities for improvement.
1. Table selection is key here. We were seated close to the service area on the first seating level. There was a TON of service traffic/bathroom traffic directly surrounding us. Not good. Also a woman who arrived before the rest of her party sat down next to us and was very loud and disruptive. The servers apologized for her, but didn't ask her to move.
2. The menus are on iPads, which were difficult to read/navigate. IMO, these are a bit tacky and off-putting.
Everything else that matters most (food, service) were excellent.
We celebrated our friend Angie's birthday Saturday night 9pm and we couldn't have had a better meal! Everything was fantastic and we will be back! Highlights: the Octopus and Chilean Seabass was like butter! Our waiter Eddie was great and assured that we had everything we needed. Thank you for a great meal!
Very expensive only for a birthday girl I love very much
Fantastic food; byob, a little cramped but still quaint.
Tutta Pesca had the best seafood I've ever had in my life. The meals were extraordinary and creative, ad the portion sizes were generous. The appetizers, main dishes, service, and hospitality were of the highest quality.
Amazing seafood with a serious selection. Great service and ambiance. Pricey but well worth it.
Nice food everything was fresh and the shrimp was so amazingly good if you like good seafood try this place can’t go wrong
Just fantastic. Service, apps, mains, desert...all wonderful.
Our visit to Tutta Pesca blew us away. If you like seafood, this is a MUST. So fresh and so delicious. The staff was amazing. While very busy, each one stopped by the table with friendly chats and information about the restaurant. The owner, Michael was also very attentive to his customers. Highly recommend this restaurant.
In December, one of my close friends and I used to go to Balthazar for seafood tiers. You know, trays of lobster, shrimp, oysters, clams, king crab leg, crab meat, served stacked on trays. We would drink champagne with it. Sure, pricey, but it was our Christmas gift to each other.
My Hoboken friend told me about this place. I looked at the menu, and decided to try it. It’s BYOB, so we brought champagne, ordered the octopus and then seafood tiers. It beats Balthazar in every way except price, where it comes in somewhat below. A lot below if you consider the bar bill.
Astonishing ambiance. Lovely service. Freshest seafood EVER. Beautifully presented. It’s got an unpretentious class to it that blew me away. I am a seafood snob, nut, aficionado, lunatic. I hate to make this little gem more popular, but here I go. I live in Manhattan, surrounded by seafood places. Forget it. This is THE new place for me.
Five stars are not enough. Go before you can’t get in, which I hope is never, because I am in love with the place.
I thought the restaurant was OK. Food was solid. Service was fine. Didn’t blow me away and I don’t understand the reason for the rediculous prices. I expected to be really wowed and I wasn’t. Nothing bad just not GREAT. And a $47 dish should be great. In my opinion
We’ve been buying the fresh seafood in the market downstairs for a while and it’s our first time actually dining in. The restaurant is very cozy and has a nice festive ambience for the holiday. We really like the iPad menu that shows food photography and detailed description of each dish. Our waiter gave us excellent recommendations as we were torn between a few of the selections. We ended up with the octopus and the grilled rock shrimp special for appetizer and the Chilean sea bass with chorizo mussels saffron sauce and scallop/shrimp/lobster with saffron pasta. All of the dishes were bursting with flavor and excellent. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert and it was so light yet decadent! The price is on the high side but worth it with the quality of ingredients used! Plus it’s byob. We can’t wait to go back!
Fantastic!
tremendous food and service as always! it is the best seafood restaurant i have been to in a long time!
This is by far the best restaurant for fish anywhere in NJ or NY. Always fresh and consistent, the staff is super friendly.
My wife and I had a fantastic dinner there. We started with lobster bisque and a special app - avacado, lobster, sun-dried tomatoes on garlic baguette - so tasty. For entree, my wife had Scallops and Shrimp Pasta Over Fresh Saffron Linguine in a Spinach, Sun Dried Tomato and White Wine Sauce. She said it was very very good. I had Octopus, Shrimp, Scallops, Calamari and Scungilli over Black Squid Ink Linguine Pasta, in a Fra Diavolo Sauce. My dish was absolutely phenomenal. I told the waiter they should never take it off the menu and never to change it. If you like a meal that has a little kick to it, this is perfect. I will be going back for this.
