Tuscany Ristorante Italiano - Williamsburg
We offer a magnificent selection of the finest authentic Italian dishes. We do not take short cuts. All of our dishes are made to order, which means that you can expect to have a dish where the ingredients and sauces are prepared and made on site after you place your order.
We offer more than spaghetti and meatballs. So do not be afraid to explore beyond your ordinary pallet. Have a glance at our menu and photo gallery (currently under construction) to see what tempts you.
Don't be deterred by the strip-mall location. The food and service were outstanding! The lasagna serving was delicious and huge, and the the triple parmesan was tasty and satisfying (chicken, veal, and shrimp).
Good food, excellent service and a totally enjoyable evening.
We were meeting another couple from New Jersey for a 6:30 pm reservation on Thursday evening. I called ahead to inform them I would be bringing a bottle of sparkling wine which would need to be chilled in an ice bucket as soon as we arrived. But when we got there they did not have any ice buckets and our server told us she did not know how to ice the bottle down. I had a small Styrofoam cooler with ice in my car so I retrieved it to keep our sparkling wine iced down. I also brought a bottle of high end red wine vintage 2010 and asked our server to decant it. She seemed perplexed and finally told us they do not have decanters. They have an extensive menu and a separate menu of specialties of the day. We started with appetizers for sharing and they were fine. But when our wives ordered one of their specialties our server returned from the kitchen and informed us they did not have it. So our wives ordered another appetizer which reached our table at tepid temperatures. After dinner we asked for cappuccinos but their cappuccino machine was broken. Their food portions are large and prices typical of an Italian restaurant striving to offer a fine dining experience. But they were far off the mark.
The best Italian food I have ever had! Inexpensive and great customer service
Food was excellent and the portions were large enough to take some home. Service was very efficient and attentive. Good value on wine and house wine was good quality.
Outside dining is available if you desire to dine in the open air.
Delicious food and great service. Highly recommend!
We were pleasantly, surprised wit the delightful experience. We chose Tuscany at random and found the quiet environment was a perfect compliment to the wonderful bill of fair. The portions were ample and even the bread was an experience. the Ciopino is not to be missed. Bar service was quick and efficient with healthy pours of wine. Overall a wonderful evening with great personal service.
We chose Tuscany Ristorante Italiano for our 39th Anniversary dinner based on a prior visit. Due to COVID, we stayed stateside (we were booked for a Jamaican vacation). For 30+ years we've made Williamsburg a twice a year visit (Spring and Fall)...a 6 hour drive from NJ. So it was our short getaway during the pandemic. We had numbers of choices for a celebratory dinner, but chose Tuscany for its food, menu selection, service and décor.
It was extremely convenient that Tuscany was an Open Table member and under COVID conditions, acquiring reservations fortunate with limited seating. My request for quiet and intimate seating was honored. The staff fully observed COVID policies with both masks and gloves, and we felt comfortable in the environment.
The server was attentive and responsive. Only one communications issue arose having to do with a request for Caesar salad. She did not explain that the salad was prepared for the entire table in a single bowl, so when a request for plain lettuce with Caesar dressing was made, she replied "We won't do that." When the salad (large bowl, ample and well made) arrived we appreciated why our request was 'unusual'. Had she explained, we would have immediately understood. Aside from that one hiccup, all else was wonderful.
Wine and Beer were ample portions, and the meals much to our liking. My wife had Chicken Francoise, and I had a Seafood Risotto Special that included chicken, sausage, mushrooms and oysters (which was extremely good). Both were large portions.
I highly recommend the Tuscany.
Food was delicious and the service was excellent. We will be back.
Never disappoints. Consistently delicious food and great atmosphere!
Very satisfying meal and service.
Extremely disappointed. The kitchen closed early. Our dinner was rushed. Multiple courses delivered simultaneously and the food got cold.
Very nice place. Food was very good and waiter was excellent.
The staff at Tuscany are very accommodating and are willing to adjust any menu item to fit your needs. The portions are more than ample and food is consistently very good. It's a great neighborhood go-to place.
The waitress was very kind and friendly. I really like the fact that I made a reservation and was able to change it 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there. The portion of food was a lot and the prices were nice.
My wife and I ate at Tuscany on Friday, 9/25. It is one of the true hidden gems of Williamsburg. Fantastic food and service in a discreet location. We shared the mushroom appetizer (shown)—amazing. My wife had the eggplant parmigiana and I had the parmigiana trio special. We shared berry cake for desert. Everything was amazing. And the waiter was very professional and attentive. A great evening.
Great little neighborhood restaurant. They serve the freshest salad with your entree, and main courses are very, very good, also their garlic knots are the best. We love going there.
Nice relaxing meal.
Food was barely Luke warm. Salad was watery. Service ok.
Great. Good food and seevice
Great food. Only two servers and was busy but slow
It was great and very outstanding
My friend and I had a very enjoyable dinner at Ristorante Tuscana. I had creamy risotto with scallops and a crab cake. It was delicious and the portion was huge. I took half home and enjoyed it again the next day.
The server was attentive and I enjoyed the salad and bread that came with the meal.
Great food and great staff, definitely recommend!
The food was way above average. Service excellent.
The food and service were good. The restaurant does a lot of take-out business.
Our first time out since March, Tuscany proved to be a enjoyable evening food-wise. We ordered an antipasti that was well prepared and generous and the salad and rolls were good. We both ordered pastas and they were huge and very tasty. The person that took our name (certainly not a greeting) asked whose birthday it was but nothing further was said. We waited for a drink order for almost 10 minutes but that was quickly followed by our waitperson taking the food order. Overall, it was an acceptable evening but we do not have any sense that we need to return.
Food was delicious!!
Amazing food for a reasonable price. The staff were all really pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return and have already recommended to other people.
We had a very good meal; large portions and great selection. We ate outside, with social distancing, and went early so it was not crowded. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but that is not important-just try it.
This was the second time in less than a months that we've gone to dinner at Tuscany. Once again, the food was delicious and is consistently prepared and served. Dining at Tuscany provides a great value as well.
they allowed us to share a meal and it was an upcharge of $5.95 but they brought us a huge bowl of salad plenty rolls and our meal was split but we both had a large portion of the ravioli gnocchi and tortellini and cream sauce with chicken and we added this shrimp which just put it over the top.
we were visiting from Ohio and I read reviews and we were so happy we went there it was just a very good experience and awesome food.
Tuscany is a great value! The atmosphere is casual & friendly & the cuisine quite good. I somehow always end up ordering & loving the lemoncello sole. The salads are fresh & portions quite abundant. In the time of Covid, the tables were spaced & service prompt. This is a great neighborhood, friend & family restaurant.
Why isn’t everyone at this restaurant? Amazing food, great service, and a really comfortable vibe. Best Veal Marsala that I have had in a long time. Garlic knots to die for. Go to this great restaurant and enjoy!
The meal was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The salad was fresh and crisp with a light vinaigrette dressing. The garlic knots were hot and fresh and garlicky. The crab cake sandwich was well seasoned and delicious on a nice bun. It was one of the best lunch’s I’ve had out in a long time.
We visit Williamsburg once or twice a year and always dine at Tuscany at least one time per visit. The food has always been wonderful, and the quantity is incredible. The entrees include a large salad served family style and really delicious. I usually make the mistake of ordering an appetizer but when I do I never finish my main course. I highly recommend Tuscany.
Four of us had a wonderful dinner at Tuscany. The food was excellent as was the service. The portions were more than adequate and the cost/value was very reasonable. If you are looking for a delicious Italian meal, I strongly recommend Tuscany.
Truly a hidden gem. This restaurant is upscale and out of the way. Probably known more to the locals than to travelers. Located in a little strip mall behind the 7/11 at the intersection of Old Town Road and Longhill Road, well off the beaten path. Food was great as well as the service.
