They do not disappoint. This is the third time I've been. The service is great and the food delicious. I love this restaurant.

Restaurant was nice however the food we ordered was ok at best. I ordered meatloaf and it was overcooked with Luke warm potatoes. My wife ordered fried chicken which was very good but the Mac and cheese was not.
I won’t be going back anytime soon.

The South Asheville location is a bit sterile in ambiance. The contactless on-line menu page is difficult to get to and not the easiest to work from. However like the downtown location, the food was solid including a fried cauliflower bites app a fried green tomato app. The cast iron pork with a sweet siracha sauce was spot on - hot but not too hot, good and not over cooked collard greens and their version of smashed potatoes with rosemary were wonderful. A bbq bacon cheeseburger was good but predictable. All in all a good dining experience and if you are down that way certainly worth a stop.

As always Tupelo was outstanding. 2nd time we were there and it won't be the last. Fried chicken is the best around.

Good food, not a very large menu, the appetizers where very good, both pimento cheese dip and the cauliflower are worth ordering. Service was pretty good, but occasionally inconsistent because it was getting later, though closing at 9 on Friday seems a little early. We didn't realize they closed that early or would've booked for earlier. By the time we wanted to order dessert all the wait staff seemed to be in back doing side work.

Food - excellent on all cylinders! Service - excellent in every way! Our waiter made sure we felt safe and taken care of esp. in the midst of the worry all around us! He took great care of my family.

This place used to be so much better. Now the chicken is just dry and over cooked and the service is mediocre. Had to wait 20 minutes just to get our drinks and they came out with our food.

Everything from the food to the service was amazing. We were visiting from out of town and it made us wish we had a Tupelo Honey local to us. We will DEFINITELY be dining here again on our next visit.

Normally love going to Tupelo but this location was the worst one I’ve been to. The biscuits were dry and hard and my burger was burnt (I mean completely black). Love this restaurant chain so I was unfortunately highly disappointed in this dinning experience.

Before this, I tried the Myrtle Beach location. Fried chicken was dry and tasted like it had been out of the fryer for a good hour or so. Friend green tomatoes were flavorless (apart from the toppings).

Then tried this South Asheville location. Cauliflower bites unseasoned (and unsalted), as were the loaded "potato cracklins". The Southern "revival" shrimp and grits had no sausage and the sauce tasted (and smelled) strongly of fish stock; the grilled lemon was the saving grace that made this edible.

Other diner got an avocado eggs benedict that tasted like seafood—fish or crab, depending which taster you asked. Will chalk that one up to an unintended kitchen error.

Cobb salad was lovely; grilled chicken perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Fried pickles unseasoned, but the pickle thickness and breading was excellent.
Cocktails slightly above average; mimosas below.

Very disappointed. The chicken was over cooked. Nothing had much favor also not all of the food was brought out at once. Also ran out of sauce for their honey spicy chicken, don’t know how that happens. The was overall cold just very disappointing!

Before we finished the appetizer they served our entree. I ordered the honey dusted fried chicken which was not hot and the meat was extremely dry and not at all tasty.

It was fine - not terrible, not great. The pimento cheese appetizer was cold and they cooked my burger wrong twice. I asked for it medium and it came well done. They took it back to fix it and it came well done again. By that time, my fries were cold and I was full from the appetizers. The fried green tomatoes were delicious!

Was ok food, nothing special. Fried Chicken breasts were dry. Mac & Cheese tasted leftover and was also dry. Side salad was good but I prefer smaller pieces. Also plates so small when you try to cut food it comes off, not good.
