Not good for dinner, but would be a better option for lunch. Over priced.
We enjoyed having breakfast with Santa. Service was efficient. Eggs were over cooked and bacon was undercooked. Nice to see a lot of families. The Santa was very good and great with small kids.
We enjoyed our time there. I really liked my food but my husband wasn’t that impressed with his. His buttermilk chicken was overcooked and the french fries were disappointing . Our server was nice but some of the timing on the dishes coming out was not well done.
Shrimp and grits were good. Brussel spouts were very good. My husbands fried chicken was dry. We got oysters as a starter and our first set had a live crab in it. They brought us a second batch and that had a live worm in it. They clearly weren’t washing them ahead of time in the kitchen. Server took it off the bill obviously since we couldn’t eat them, but we felt like a manager should have addressed the problem. So mixed reviews as my food was good, but husbands was not. Definitely steer clear of the oysters.
So happy they opened one in Myrtle beach! This location is doing a great job so far. It will definitely be a regular spot for us!
Great experience at the Tupelo Honey Myrtle Beach. The food was delicious, the service was great and we were all very pleased!
A good meal was ruined by poor service.
We continually had to ask for drinks to be refilled.
Our biscuits, that you are famous for, did not arrive until we were about finished with our meals. We asked for them numerous times, and we're originallly told that they would only be 15 min. due to running out. It took us an hour to get them...
Several people in our party had food items on their plate that were lukewarm, and the absence of our waiter prevented us from having the opportunity of a reheat.
Our app plates were not removed from the table, making a table of 8 a crowded mess.
We passed on dessert, due to the fact of not being full, but to the fact that the service was so lacking that we did not want to deal with the wait staff any longer.
Food was great as usual; had the roasted chicken for the first time, and it was very moist and flavorful. Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts were delicious. Server was great; very knowledgeable regarding the menu, friendly, and attentive service.
Food was ok. Appetizers and biscuits are alway our favorite!
Creative menu is a lovely neighborhood setting. The service was slow and inattentive probably because of the large brunch crowd. Drinks were refilled slowly and not at all after the main course was served. Generally a solid meal with interesting flavors and kind if slow staff.
Food was outstanding. Flavor excellent. Biscuits were flaky, soft with just a touch of crunch, and warm with a light buttery flavor.
Monday nite special is a $5 burger, which is a good deal, add fries and that adds another $5.
$5 for an order of fries is ridiculous.
Excellent dining experience. Good was great. Our server was exceptional. We will go again.
I know this is a chain restaurant but it sure doesn’t feel like a changing. Outstanding service, creative menu (“Shoo Mercy” shrimp & grits, for example) and a great place to chat with friends. Great location in the Market Common area of Myrtle Beach.
This is a must spot for my husband & I as a date, or with our kids. Food is always delicious and like no where else
Our appetizer, south carolina egg roll was dripping with grease. The trout was good. But the brussel sprouts were so hard i couldnt eat them. The wine selection is pathetic . There are too many good places around. So dont waste your time .
Good. Pork chop a bit over cooked.
Great food and great service .... have been here several times and will continue to dine here while in Myrtle Beach
Really enjoyed our visit and dining experience. Our server, (Terry) new to this area but with the company for 2 years. He was great with recommendations, conversation and attention.
My wife took our family there to celebrate my birthday. It was our first visit ever to a Tupelo Honey and I pray not our last. Everything about our experience was phenomenal; especially the food! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional food!
The biscuits they bring to the table are worth the trip by themselves!
Called at 2140 because I was running 10 minutes late for a 2145 reservation. No answer. Show up at 2155 to a “closed kitchen” despite reservations being available until 2330.
I had eaten at the Tupelo Honey restaurant in Asheville and this one did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere and waiter. The pimento cheese nachos were unusual and splendid with the perfect cheesy salty balance. The salsas on the side were fresh with bursts of tomato and herbs. My shrimp and grits was a little spicy for my palate so be careful if you are sensitive to heat. However, I couldn’t stop eating it. My husband said it was the second best fried chicken he has eaten. Second only to Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room in Savannah. I would eat there again to explore the menu.
The food was very good, albeit a little pricey for portion size. I could have made a meal on the biscuits! Vegetables were undercooked (green beans and brussel sprouts), were perfect once sent back.
Great food, clean and unremarkable environment. The service ( our waiter, Aaron) was spectacular and the major reason we returned second time (unfortunately, Aaron did not work that night and the evening was less than hoped for because of his absence). Happy hour, however, was good as ever.
The food combinations are unique and creative and the outdoor patio was enjoyable. However, everything with a sauce had wayyyy too much of it. Perhaps that’s a southern thing but I don’t like my food drowning. I had the ribs and they were also quite chewy. We’ve eaten at the Ashville, NC location and I enjoyed my meal there better, I went with a safer choice of a chicken sandwich.
Decor and vibe are very nice. The food and service was great. Management keeps a close eye to ensure good service.
Awesome food, loved the decor, spectacular experience!!
Menue descriptions poor. Too expensive. Pork was tough and chewy
On vacation and was highly recommended by locals. Did online reservation and was very easy. Sat outside and was very comfortable. Waitress was very friendly and helpful with food and drink choices. She recommended we save room for dessert, and the Banana pudding did not disappoint, highly recommend. Will be visiting everytime we are in MB
Outstanding experience last night. Our waitress Dawn was the best - so sweet and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the sweet potato pancakes and the Mac and cheese bites. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
The fried chicken is a must and the craft cocktails are amazing!
We had a great meal and drinks. Food and service were excellent. We would all visit again. I want to go back just for the biscuits and honey alone.
This food was seriously amazing. I had the sangria, South Carolina egg rolls, brussel sprouts, blackberry habanero ribs, and yes even the 4 mini madon jar desserts (don’t judge us). Everything was amazing and I would order everything again. The ribs were a religious experience. Even the biscuits with the blackberry compote was amazing. Just go here, you’ll be glad you did. I’m glad i set a reservation because people were waiting 45 minutes on a Monday night. Still worth it though!
Food and service was great I would definitely come back again
Very pleasant dinner with my wife for our anniversary
We thoroughly enjoyed the trout and catfish entree's, along with their biscuits, honey and jam. We’ll definitely be back for more southern comfort food!
Dined here before, service was outstanding, food was a disappointment.
This place was... simply awesome. Amazing food with a great atmosphere. Fantastic service. And those biscuits? Yum!
Our server was great and made sure we were well taken care of. However, my mom and I both ordered the buttermilk fried chicken and it was barely warm and super dry. I have visited the Tupelo Honey in Asheville and it has always been great. I took my mom out to experience it at the beach and we were both really disappointed in the quality of food.
