Very relaxed atmosphere, great tasting food and the service was quick. There is a parking garage semi-connected which made everything a breeze for downtown. Well worth the value.

This was my third time going, the food seems like it is going downhill. The only consistency is the fried chicken and fried green tomatoes. Their portions for the sides have been small since I first visited, so there’s not much of a difference there. Although, they did serve our sides like the macaroni and collard greens in small cast iron bowls similar to The Eagle. I probably will only stick to getting their chicken if I decided to go back or for take out, but I don’t plan on it anytime soon.

We’ve been seeing the hype on TikTok about this restaurant and wanted to try it. We were very disappointed. The food is mediocre at best. The chicken and waffles are just ok. Chicken isn’t seasoned well at all. Greens are horrible. Biscuits are cool and are served with some type of blueberry sauce that was old. Mimosas were cool. We ordered the shrimp and grits in a deconstructed way to not have pork and it was just ok. The prices are ridiculous for the mediocre food they’re serving. Nothing we had makes us want to visit again.

The restaurant is incredibly charming. The food choices are unique. The outside seating area is a nice touch. Parking is a little challenging which, given the location, is expected but worth it. Highly recommend.

Cam was a fantastic server - both personable and professional. My first experience at Tupelo Honey in Asheville, NC led me to expect the same inviting/homey and warm ambiance and furnishings. This location was pretty stark inside without the warmth. The Cobb salad with fried chicken was really good, but my husband said there was no heat at all in his Asheville hot chicken and Mac and cheese waffles. I was disappointed to not have the option to add a single biscuit as a side with my salad. We did order the app of two biscuits and would have preferred a choice of jams/preserves. Only blueberry was offered and that is the only fruit I’m not fond of. Again, Cam was wonderful.

What a beautiful restaurant and concept! We sat out side and were treated to delicious food and spectacular service. We were totally treated like family and enjoyed our experience. Can't wait to come back and try something off of the menu soon! Our favorite menu items were the mimosas and breakfast bowl. Delish!

All of the staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious! The atmosphere is so cute. Our favorites were the fried green tomatoes, biscuits, BLT and fries, and the blueberry waffle! I would definitely recommend coming here especially on a Sunday, so you can take advantage of this free street parking. Otherwise, there is a paid garage in the back.

This was first trip. Louis was great. House old fashioned was well executed and my brides cucumber vodka option was really good. The Beef Debris was so good and my wife got the half chicken and was happy to bring some home. Get the biscuits for the mulberry jam. Get the coffee after dinner with pecan pie. I could have done without chocolate syrup on the pie. Great dinner out and fun patio. The neighbors subwoofers and music killed vibe, so this the atmosphere rating. The interior of restaurant was really nice. Parking is weird, we parked in ‘city way’ spots.

Our food was delicious, we started with the fried green tomatoes, they were great! We then chose the fried chicken and waffles and the roast beef debris, both were very tasty, but my favorite was the roast beef, I could not get enough! Highly recommend.

Decent Southern Cuisine Experience My visit to Tupelo Honey in Indianapolis was an good. The ambiance had a warm and welcoming vibe, creating a comfortable setting for a good meal. Our first experience at Tupelo Honey was amazing! Great food…fried chicken, collard greens, mac n cheese, fried green tomatoes, banana pudding and pecan pie. Our server Sky was awesome and Justin, the Lead Host was so very attentive. We look forward to stopping by on our next trip to Indianapolis.

The waffles were dry. Food came out very fast like it was all pre-prepared. Both got the chicken and waffles, the 2 different ones they make. They were ok. The spicy one was very spicy and not a lot of chicken. It was not a breast but chunks like nuggets. The Mac n cheese one had very dry waffles, not very much sauce on it, and did not come with syrup. The banana pudding was like soup with little vanilla wafers in it. Overall not impressive for the price. Plus our cocktails took a long time to come to the table and one was warm like it was made and sat for a long time before the other was made

We tried smothered chicken, dark meat chicken dinner and the po boy. All was fabulous. Regret not trying the biscuits, they looked amazing. Not normally desert people, but we heard the banana pudding was a must. They were not wrong.

Check you bill! They offer tip suggestions that are after tax. You don't tip on the tax, because tax is not a service the restaurant provides. Sneaky, made a nice tasting meal taste a little sour!

We had eaten at Tupelo Honey once previously about two months ago and really enjoyed it. This time was not quite as enjoyable. Two of the four in our party ordered two different “signature cocktails” both of which took a very long time to arrive and neither was as tasty as those ordered at our previous visit. Food was slow too and was not terribly impressive. Broccolini side dish was essentially uncooked and tasteless. Chicken dishes were very good. Overall not an experience that will have us anxious to return anytime soon.

I went with a few friends to celebrate my birthday dinner. I had reservations at 7:30 and arrived promptly on time. We had a male server who kept talking under his breath and was very rushed. He was not very polite with us. He insisted on getting our apps and main dishes all at once and when we didnt know what we wanted yet he was very impatient. 8:15 comes around and he asked us if we wanted boxes for our food that was not even close to being finished. 8:30 came and he brought the checks for each of us, even though we had drinks and food left. It was very disappointing to be rushed out of the table when it had been less than an hour since we were seated. Other than that, the food was amazing and the host Justin even wrote me a birthday card. I highly recommend - just maybe be aware of the service.
