Cauliflower tacos were delicious as well as biscuits! Great server
Best cat head biscuits anywhere! The chicken breast in the sandwich was incredible and the potato cracklins were like nothing I've ever had. Worth the calories. Oh heck, this is not a calorie counting place! Enjoyed every bite!
Great brunch on a weekday with our four young children. Service was great and the staff was super friendly and kind. They really helped make our 10 year old’s birthday breakfast a success!
Food and service were excellent.
Food/drinks were delicious! I had the fried green tomatoes on grits and my husband had the cauliflower bites, they were both a perfect balance of flavors! Our waitress was was excellent with food and drink recommendations and gave us wonderful advice on some places to hike and to try good, local beer. They were good at keeping folks separated and strictly following covid safety protocols. The location is very touristy, but worth it.
Amazing food and service, never disappointed eating at TH
This is a must try restaurant in Asheville. A family member recommended we try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, Shoo Mercy, and the chicken and waffles with macaroni inside the waffle! It was a great experience.
We come to Asheville 4-5 times a year and we always make a point to visit Tupelo Honey. It’s some of the best food you can find in Asheville and the staff is always incredibly courteous. You can’t go wrong here. The biscuits are next level amazing.
Loved everything about this place, from the food, to the servers, to the decor. We were there for Sunday brunch, and it was great that we had a reservation on OpenTable. Highly recommend!
This was our second visit to Tupelo-Asheville Downtown and it did not disappoint. The hosts on both visits have not been the warmest, but the servers and food make up for that. Making a reservation for breakfast/brunch is strongly encouraged. The sweet and spicy (sriracha honey?) fried chicken is our go-to dish. Tupelo is worth the visit.
Great menu, great service, and a great time was had by all. I would make reservations though. We were seated in a part of the restaurant that was not so crowded and there were lots of people waiting who had not made reservations.
I come here every Sunday. So I'm biased in how much I love Tupelo Honey. 😁
Fantastic food and service.
We has the best time! The biscuits and potato cracklings were amazing, great way to kick off a laid back meal. We all had fried chicken and said best we have ever had! Would return!
Great food. Nice atmosphere and entire waitstaff were friendly and attentive.
The food was very good and the farm to table concept is nice. Long wait so get your name in and wander the area...the Woolworth walk had beautiful local arts vendor stalls.
Delicious experience. Innovative and fun! Usually plant based, I decided I needed to try the shrimp and Grits. So glad I did! My son loved his mac and cheese stuffed waffles with chicken. Glad we found this place during our brief stop in Ashville.
11/10 best meal of the trip. We were very happy we were sat at our table early due to the rain! Our server was really informative and cheery and shared some delicious drink specials with us (you must try the debutante). Food and service were both great.
OMG so good. The fried green tomatoes and the pork bowl were amazing! Don't let the fact they they have a few Tupelo's across the country deter you from going to the one in Asheville because it was to die for. Also we had an awesome friendly server and you can sign up on their site to get a free pint glass or $5 off your meal.
Great location. Great food. Lots of options. We had a large group and they were great to accommodate us. We will definitely go again next trip.
Sriracha chicken and waffles were delicious! Comfort food menu with a great cocktail list as well 👍🏼
I would describe Tupelo Honey as just an average restaurant. No complaints about the food but it was nothing special. We ordered the cauliflower bites for an app.
Chicken BLT, Avocado Chicken and a Smokehouse burger for our entrees. Nothing stood out that would make me want to return.
yummy for y’all’s tummy!
Went with a reservation, we received a text 2 minutes after our 5.30pm seating time. The food was amazing...literally everything.
Every time we coming to Asheville, I stop at Tupelo Honey, their food is so good, so tasty, and they really put a southern style on it. Service was great, place was clean, we had an awesome time and can’t wait to go back. Michelle
Delicious everything , very friendly staff
Make reservations! This is a must stop for any visit to Asheville. We went for brunch and everything was great. My wife even love the Hibiscus Tea spritzer. The sweet and Spivey chicken and biscuit was incredible. Definitely order some biscuits on the side. They come with blueberry butter spread!
Service was great! Food was amazing!
Our meal here was amazing! We sat at the bar and Matt was the bartender on duty. He was so kind and helpful. We asked his advice on many of our choices, he was spot on! We had the Brussels for an app, they were delicious! For our meals we had the Shoo Mercy and a Spicy chicken sandwich. They were fabulous. Matt helped my husband build the sandwich with just the right choices to make it amazing. While we waited the he served us one of their custom drinks. The name evades me, but it was like a margarita but with honey and grapefruit and some other things, so yummy! Finally we shared a banana pudding for dessert. The pudding was in point with its creamy sweetness and of course the Nilla wafers tucked into it. Overall our experience was perfect and I would recommend everyone eat here and try to visit Matt at the bar!
Chicken and potatoe pancakes were so good that I had ordered them a few days earlier when we visited.
So good! Best brunch I’ve had in a long time!! Delicious cocktails and the best biscuits/ grits! You won’t regret going to brunch there...it’s worth the wait!
Tupelo was a great chose at breakfast for my family of 5. The kids had banana pudding waffles and my wife and I both had the breakfast bowl. The Old Skool breakfast bowl was one of the best meals we have had in a while! I would highly recommend it. The kids loved their waffles as well. Over all an excellent experience.
Overall enjoyed the experience after being sat. However, our reservation was cancelled after we were 5 minutes late by the hostess despite a 10 minute grace period. We then had to wait 30 minutes for a table. The hostess did not offer any resolution. If we were truly outside the grace period, I would have been wholly understanding.
I had the shrimp and grits drizzled with the siracha sauce. Wonderful!!! Great fried chicken. My son loved the biscuit.
It really wasn’t worth the time or money. The tables around us (also tables of 4) arrived after us and got their food before us. We seemed to have an “Ignore us” sign on our foreheads. The food was good, but I got their “famous” fried chicken and it was okay. Pretty much like any other chicken I’ve had. We left disappointed and probably won’t return.
First time being in Asheville and heard so many great things about Tupelo. Food was delicious and service was great. Restaurant took all the Covid precautions so felt safe eating indoors.
The good parts were the restaurant had good atmosphere and our server was really on the ball and pleasant. The not so great part was the chicken (which was the reason we chose this restaurant) was just ok not amazing. We felt like the chicken was cooked and then put in a warmer for a few hours, loosing its crispness and juices.
Food was perfect- fried chicken was super, had the Brussels sprout app- spot on- gotta do the banana pudding!
Customer Service was great!
Food was tasty!
Staff was very friendly made you feel at home.
