Chicken tasted good..just small portions..seemed like the breast was split in half..a little on the dry side..the collard greens were great, the biscuit was good and the Mac and cheese was decent..could have been hotter..the fried green tomatoes were good as well..the grits and some kind of pepper jelly had the right amount of heat..

Shrieking child right next to us. I don’t mean just a hungry kid. We are parents and grandparents . Seriously out of control Mariah Carey octave splitting screaming. Food was absolutely sub par and small chicken portions. Service was great. This place has gone seriously downhill.

Tupelo Honey is always excellent in ambiance, food, and quality. However our waitress was very pushy for us to order pricier items. We ordered an app, main courses, and dessert, in addition to my glass of wine and purchased 4 glasses. Altogether we had a great dinner.

We got there and they sat us right away. Our server was friendly and efficient, menus and water came immediately. I ordered cast iron pork with a wonderful sauce and it was tender, juicy and spicy, came with 2 sides crispy potatoes and green salad. My husband ordered mahi mahi that was perfectly cooked with roasted Brussel sprouts and green salad. This was a perfect dinner, great food and good service.

As a long time resident of Asheville, I have seen the menu at Tupelo Honey change for the worse. The restaurant now feels completely like a chain. The special vibe it was born with is no longer apparent.

Dinner at table in bar-side was great. Best fried chicken we’ve had in years—literally, the best. Looks like a sleepy little spot from the street but had good energy, great food, exceptional service. Just visiting but if we lived here we’d come all the time.

We have been coming here for over 10 years and it is always one of our top go-to restaurants whenever we’re in Asheville. Our last visit was very disappointing. The food took almost 45 minutes and that is after waiting 15 minutes to order. They were not even that busy. The food was borderline cold and the service was horrible! We will go back for one more try, but it is definitely not what it used to be!

We were a party of ten with out of town guests. We had a wonderful meal - shrimp and grits, smothered chicken, delicious salads. The restaurant was hopping but we were treated to great service by Hannah and her team. Would be very happy to go back. Thanks!

Picked this, at it appeared to be a HOT CHOICE. It is a large chain, and it felt much like that upon arrival [like chili's]. A little disappointed that I felt like that as it was our first time in Asheville and wanted a unique dining experience and it was pretty average and didn't wow us. While we typically don't look to be wowed, we do look for something different from every other average restaurant. The food was average and and the flavor pallet was "flat."

The online version of the menu has more options for vegetarians than the actual menu in the restaurant which was a disappointment (e.g. no Quinoa Harvest bowl). The service was slow (the restaurant was very full) and the food was decent but not as flavorful as I had recalled Tupelo Honey being in the past.
