   The food was amazing! I got the blackened mai with the crispy parmesan potatoes (which were awesome!) with a Cesar salad, and my husband got the shrimp and grits which he said were the best grits he'd ever had! Our waitress was Tremaine and she was right on top of everything, very friendly and extremely nice with a great attitude! Next time we are in Ashville, we will definitely come back here to eat!

   I’ve dined at this location in the past and returned hoping for a similar pleasant experience. This time it was as if the cook left early. They were out of biscuits, the fried chicken was tough and dry as if it had been under a heating lamp for sometime. The collard greens were over salted. My husband got the chicken and waffles. The pieces of chicken were small and tough. I gave two stars instead of one because the server was pleasant. I won’t return, and I won’t recommend it to anyone.

   Great as always! One of my favorite places in Asheville. Try the pimento queso with chorizo. Delicious!!

   Chicken tasted like it had been sitting under a warmer for hours. We had to ask the server to bring us water. Definitely not the experience we remembered from previous visits.

   Food quality and overall experience continues to be standard for this group restaurant. Enjoyed breakfast with chicken and biscuits/ good cup coffee. Great experience overall in downtown Asheville.

   So glad sweet potato pancakes are back on menu! They are as delicious as I remember from a few years ago! Worth the 1300 calories!! Server was great & service was fast & efficient.

    Well we went later on a Sunday. Not many people there which makes sense. Oddly there must have been some sort of fire truck drill because there were several fire engines that went by blaring their horns over and over. Also loud barking dogs on the patio. The food was fine, nothing spectacular. Would not return even if I lived nearby.
