Enjoyed fried chicken, biscuits, mac and cheese, green beans and cheese grits. All hit the mark, and we look forward to a return visit next time we're in Greenville.
The food was great. The waiter made excellent recommendations.
Their bowls are very good with an interesting combo of vegetables and grains.
The actual restaurant was not on the main street and we only found it because we were diligent. It was tucked in a square off the main street on the back of the building. I tried calling a couple of times and could not get an answer. We almost gave up, but everything after that was phenomenal. The pork chop was so tender and spicy, I didn't need my knife. Was that pulled pork instead? Order a kids stack of sweet potato pancakes (it's not on the menu!) They are soooo good. I don't know what you would call the syrup (it's not maple...), but it was definitely a gimme more condiment. The honey and black berry jam with the biscuits are a perfect appetizer. We always want more. The service was awesome. I would go back in a heartbeat! More sweet potato pancakes please! and blackberry jam! and honey! Yah!
Quality of food was super. Location was great—downtown.
Delicious as usual with Tupelo Honey. The new(ish) layout seems to encourage more noise, but is also bright and attractive. One of our favorite Greenville restaurants.
Our server was Terry, he was great. Thanks Tupelo!
We waited well over an hour for our food and 30 minutes for our check.
I've been here 10+ times and always left very satisfied. We went again to try this season's menu and it was pretty disappointing. The biscuits are always great, but two of the three meals ordered were missing (important) ingredients listed on the menu. I won't elaborate, but there were other issues with the food, indicating that the kitchen was just a hot mess. In terms of service- we had a reservation for two, but I adjusted it to three people (4+ hours before arrival). We get there and they said they had a four-top they were going to sit us at anyway but the host still lectured me about "updating my reservation" (again, I had already done that well in advance) and literally wagged his finger at me. *eyeroll* Our server, Bailey, was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and did a great job helping with food corrections where she could. I'd try this place again because of the great experiences I've had in the past, but hope to see improvements from the kitchen.
Food was great. Waiter was not attentive. Did not check on us when we got our meal. Did not offer dessert. Our tip reflected his efforts.
Everything was great. The food was amazing and the service was great. This my 3rd time coming here and I love this place !
Lots of options for brunch. Delicious food. Great service!
Great food, served quickly, fun server, only downfall is the place was very hot. They said it was always like that
Excellent place! Enjoyed the food and drinks! Service was on point!
The service and the meal was outstanding, however the smell in the air outside was a potent combination of trash and kitchen ventilation. I’m sure it’s something that the restaurant cannot control, but perhaps some type of large fans installed on the corners of the building can push some of the air away from the sitting area😷
First rate experience from start to finish. Excellent food, polite attentive wait staff, exemplary cleanliness.
Tupelo Honey was out of Banana Pudding, straws, and to go cup lids...it was sort of like no one did the ordering this week.
Food was very good. Atmosphere was good. Somewhat overpriced. Service was slow.
From the hostess to the wait staff to the food, everything was outstanding!
Had a very good breakfast at Tupelo with family. The avocado toasts served with a salad and side of fried eggs were delicious. Tupelo's biscuits are tasty with blueberry preserve or honey but are heavier than most biscuits. Service was friendly and speedy.
Great time at tupelo honey last night. Definitely will be back soon.
It’s been a while since we’ve been here and I’m glad we came back. The food was amazing, the people were nice and the service was outstanding. We will surely be back.
I had Cobb Salad, my wife had the fried chicken thighs and two sides. Hers tasted really good. My cobb was very underwhelming. It was not a dinner portion, but I was told it was and charged as an entree salad. Does not come with croutons, crackers or bread of any kind. Was served on a flat small oval plate. Should be in a large entree bowl.
Mac and cheese chicken waffles were great.
Everything was fantastic. Everyone at the table got different items, and everyone was very happy with their food, and not a morsel was left. The drinks were very good as well!
It was me and my friends first time there and Taylor made our experience a great one!
Our waitress was friendly and helpful.
We had fried green tomatoes, southern chicken sandwich, heavenly grits , meatloaf and delightful Parmesan potatoes. We loved everything. We'll be sure to come back when we are in the area.
Service & food was great! Get the Banana Pudding-you can thank me later!!!
Way too loud inside but, fortunately, they moved us to the bar area, MUCH better. Also, aside from temp and humidity, the outside smelled unfortunately bad. Good Margaritas.
Great food and great atmosphere. Would come back again.
Terrible service is terrible food
Great food and service- as usual! Can’t wait to go again
Superb. The beet hummus was wonderful
We come to Tupelo every time we visit Greenville and are usually not disappointed. This time we were. We felt the menu didn’t offer as many options, especially appetizers. Our kids chicken looked almost burned and was dry. My harvest bowl was very good. Service was ok, but nothing spectacular. Kind of left feeling less enthused about our overall experience.
Everything was great! Great atmosphere! Dealen was our waiter and he was so nice!
Great overall experience! Hands down!!!
The food was amazing and the overall service was good. My one complaint is that our food took a long time to prepare. We waited 45 minutes for it to be delivered to our table.
Birthday of a friend
My wife's egg benedict came with half an eggshell in the meal. NOT what we expected!
Noisy. Unique menu items. Great service. Clean and sanitary.
