I just moved to the area and Tupelo was the first restaurant I’ve been to and it was such a good choice.
The fried pickles were the best I’ve ever had because they’re sliced so thin and the breading was killer.
I had the smothered fried chicken with baked mac and cheese and green beans and everything was amazing. I ate all the sides and took a piece of chicken home for the next days lunch.
I also stole a few bites of the sweet potato casserole my boyfriend ordered and omg it was so good. I’m definitely adding the candied pecans when I make that at home.
Get the house brewed cold brew and southern hospitality spritzer, you will NOT be disappointed.
The host sat us and we waited for 20 minutes because he didn't tell anyone she was sat. The food took a very long time. I'm sure our server was capable but she seemed very much in the weeds when we were sat. Our food was cold and dryed out(the chicken was incredibly dry) and we had been waiting so long we didn't want to complain because we had a flight to catch. The food was....ok. I was visiting S.C. and this restaurant was recommended, I was disappointed and embarrassed that I took my parents here. For an apparently nice place, it was some of the worst service I had. I will not be recommending this restaurant in the future
The food and service was excellent. The ambiance is simple. The restaurant is pricey. Lunch for 2 with non alcoholic drinks was $55 plus tip.
Good value for what we ordered. Loves the grits.
Bloody Mary was spot on!
One of our favorite brunch places, the food and coffee never disappoints!
Food was delicious, servers were personable. Great location.
Excellent Sunday brunch. Started off with the biscuits. The best biscuits the three of us EVER had. I had the Old Skool breakfast bowl which was fantastic. My wife had a basic scrambled egg dish, which was good, but she wished she had ordered the omelet. But her grits with goat cheese was awesome. My daughter had the Southwestern omelet and it was great. If you’re going for brunch you better make a reservation ahead of time! There was a 2 hour wait for those who didn’t!
Had guests in for the weekend and wanted to acquaint them with "southern comfort food." Brunch was awesome and our server Austin was so gracious and extremely attentive! What a treat.
I was happy they held a table for our reservation as we were running 15 minutes behind. But then my pancakes were cold, chicken was bland, and was disappointed as expectations were high.
Enjoyed a sweet anniversary dinner with my husband. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was fantastic. Don’t pass in the biscuits and the lavender lemonade was a Unique treat. Our entrees were delicious
The food was great and the service was exceptional. We chose to dine here for our 33rd anniversary and was happy with our experience. We will definitely be back again.
Overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. Poor service. Rude servers. This was our second attempt at TH. Will not be back.
Tupelo honey is one of our favorites in Greenville, always great service and food!
Always a great experience.
Excellent southern comfort food. The pork skillet is so tender and tasty! The lavender lemonade is refreshing. Everything was perfect.
Nice pre-show dinner. Walking distance to venues.
Prompt service. Good variety on menu.
Food was good. Fried chicken thighs with gravy, brussel sprouts and green beans very tasty. Sweet potato casserole was disappointing and bland. Dessert duo was a good choice for sharing.
I would return.
In town for a great concert and tried Tupelo Honey! Wow the food and drinks were delicious!! Great menu choices. My husband had the honey dusted fried chicken with crispy fries and I had the chicken and waffles with gravy!! So good and to top it off we started with the cat head biscuits served with honey and blueberry jam over soften butter!! A must have if you eat there!! Can’t wait to go back on our next visit!
Love downtown Greenville!!
It had been over a year since I had visited Tupelo Honey last. I found this visit to be somewhat of a disappointment. The chicken was overcooked which resulted in a tough, chewy experience. The interior had undergone a remodel and I find the new layout somewhat cold and uninviting. The one bright spot was our waiter who was very friendly and attentive.
Overall, it was an enjoyable first-time experience. The service was great; the food was satisfactory. Nice place to unwind. The noise was a bit on the loud side due to some “excited” patrons. The food options were good overall and the preparation/taste was ok. I would make a return visit.
The food was better than I expected, I had the pork shoulder entree with green beans & potato cracklins. My biggest disappointment was the service. Things started out fine but then our waitress seemed to have forgotten about us. Wasnt offered refills on our beers (which we wouldve gotten) and wasnt asked if Id like to see a dessert menu (which we also would have gotten). Its a nice spot anyway but unlikely to return
Austin our server was great. Food was very good.
I have been to Tupelo many times before and loved it, but haven’t been back in about a year. The service was very slow, our food seemed overpriced for what we got, and it was overall a fine experience. Not bad, but not with the money.
Food was excellent! Service was outstanding!! The restaurant was somewhat noisy though.
Booked this for our anniversary with the kids since we were in town visiting for the weekend. While the biscuits, jam, and cream cheese are to die for, the entrees had zero flavor at all. For a southern restaurant, we were shocked. I felt like I was eating paper it was that tasteless. We also had sweet tea spilled all over us by the staff (it was an accident, but just added to the overall experience). When we booked this, they asked if this was for a special occasion — not sure why since it was never mentioned, we were stuck in a corner when it wasn’t even busy, etc. Fairly expensive for how small and tasteless the dishes were. Wouldn’t come back.
Service was pretty slow but the food was awesome.
The service and the food were amazing! Great brunch spot in beautiful downtown Greenville!
The food was not really all that. Pretty expensive for just pancakes and 2 pieces of bacon. $10.95
People were made to take tables outside when it was windy and cold. There was no need for that because there was plenty of indoor seating still.
The hostess seated a couple with small baby outside. You could tell every was not happy about the seating outside.
The menu has been reduced significantly for brunch and not much variety.
Our waitress was not very attentive and the food was not that great.
The breakfast potatoes were just over salted bake potatoes cut up into large chunks.
My western omelet has no flavor except avocado and chorizo and no egg flavor. It was like 1/3 chorizo and 2/3 avocado.
This was the worst breakfast I have ever had at Tupelo Honey.
I cannot see my wife and I ever eating at any Tupelo Honey restaurants.
The food is so good, and the staff are so polite and personable.
Food was great, service was not. Hostess barely acknowledged us and simply pointed to our table. She was busy on Snapchat. Server was nice enough but gaslit my sister in law when she asked about the about the beets that should have been on her plate of avocado toast and eggs. The server told her she was wrong even though she pressed him about it. He never offered to double check or bring her beets.
Food was excellent and service (waiter was Austin) was outstanding!
First time diner but it was great! Our server was awesome, helpful, attentive and polite. It was a fun atmosphere. I would recommend Tupelo Honey to anyone. The experience is one I look forward to repeating!
Great atmosphere and service was phenomenal. I will be a returning customer
Everything was amazing! We came at a very busy time. Food drinks and service could not have been better
Delicious food and experiences!
Grits were amazing!! Hubby loved the spicy chicken sandwich!
Food was fantastic, and service was great! Great date night option.
I got the southern pecan salad and it was probably the best salad I’ve ever had in my life, insanely mouth watering and delicious!!
Location is great, food is flavorful, staff is very friendly.
Everything was delicious, the service was good, & the patio seating was perfect.
