We went to brunch on a Sunday and making a reservation was a good choice. We were immediately seated upon arrival and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the pecan pie pancakes. They are to die for!
Food was delicious! Classic mega mimosa - A+!!
Wonderful brunch - so many great choices on the menu, it was hard to choose!
We ate here twice during our stay in Greenville. Both dinner and brunch menus were fun and offered many tempting choices. There were 3 of us who each made unique choices and we gave it thumbs up across the board. Cocktails and coffee were also good!
Delicious food and the most outstanding service we have had anywhere in a long time!
Service and waitstaff wonderful and great food
Despite having a reservation, we waited over half an hour to be seated only to then be seated at a table just inside the entrance that had been open throughout our wait. On a cold evening, a table just inside the main entrance did not make for a pleasant experience, so needless to say we kept our overcoats on throughout dinner. The server was efficient and food was good, but the wait and atmosphere certainly hurt the experience.
Hostess was not efficient about seating those who were waiting. We had to keep on top of her to get our reservation upheld. Other than this problem the meal and service were both very good. There is a noise factor here so not easy to talk over the other diners. Overall, very good dinner especially the biscuits and honey that is brought prior to the meal. You have to ask for this unless your server offers so make sure you get these!
Our entire experience at Tupelo Honey was nothing short of delightful. Our server, Kyle, was attentive but didn’t hover, the food was beyond delicious, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and clean. We will most definitely be returning.
Everything was fantastic as always and Alicia is one of my favorite servers there. She did an excellent job with her trainee, Edwin!
Food was great can’t wait to go back and try lunch or Dinner
This is a very nice restaurant and a good place for dining. I went to my first Tupelo Honey in Washington, DC and therefore I wanted to try the same in Greenville. This restaurant had great service and the food was quick and timely. The waiter was very accommodating and supportive. Great brunch for a saturday morning with great values.
I made a reservation the day before but when 7pm arrived and we were waiting to be seated, the hostess said a table wasn't ready yet. So, after about 5 minutes, we were finally seated at a table directly outside the entrance to the kitchen. Possibly worst table in the place. We would have been better off sitting at the bar. Food was good but prices are high, $10 for house pinot noir. Not in a hurry to go back.
Enjoyed the service.
Great selection of lunch entrees, and fun southern appetizers.
Great experience! Sat at the bar as we waited to be seated. Decided to stay at the bar. Excellent craft cocktails. Food was outstanding. People at the bar were extremely friendly and hospitable. For a Sunday evening (6pm), I didn't find the noise level to be too much.
38th Wedding Anniversary! Everything was great! Food, service, nothing bad to say about it! Amazing! Will definitely be back!!
My mom and I were attending a Cirque de Soleil show and had brunch prior to the show. It was wonderful !
Probably our 10th time here. This time was not as great. The hostesses are always grumpy here. They sat us right at open kitchen. The food was just not good. Fried green tomatoes were way overcooked, almost to burnt. The potatoes weren't "cracklin's"...they were huge hunks of potato. And bacon, for the first time ever, had a funky taste and was way overcooked/hard/burnt. It was very disappointing. Our server Jess was friendly, sweet and provided the Best service ever. And as expected, the 2 hostesses looked up and ignored us as we left... We were excited to go and it was not great.
We went the day after Valentine's, and there were two shows in town. So unfortunately they were out of a lot of things we ordered. But the staff was wonderful (Stephanie was fab), and the food we did get was delicious! Will plan on going another time, not after a peak "eating out" night!
We enjoyed a fabulous evening at Tupelo Honey. The food was superb - everything on the menu was tempting and our choices didn’t disappoint. Thank you Chef Rob and server Kyle for making it special. We will be back!
We had friends in town so had to bring them to one of our favs. We did have to wait 45 minutes past our reservation time which was unsatisfactory. Our server, Ryan was with waiting for. He had great beer flight suggestions and really seemed to care about our table’s likes and dislikes. The fried chicken was amazing.
They were slow to seat us despite the fact that we had a reservation. That happened the last time we went there as well. We waited 40 minutes after our reservation time. From there the service was prompt and our waitress was attentive. I think their schedule is overbooked.
Great service and meal!
Great valentines date!
Some food was outstanding, others just average. The potato appetizer is outstanding!
Great place to eat! The process of getting your table is pretty hectic as the space for waiting is small.
Excellent breakfast! Although the location was very busy (Valentines day weekend) they were prompt and attentive to all of our needs! Will definitely be back!
The food was not that great! Found hair in my avocado side salad. And lady beside me table- had hair in her food too! Ewwww!
Restaurant was really busy. We had to wait over 15 minutes for table even though we had a reservation. Also coffee was brought late to table and part of an order was brought 10 minutes after initial part was served. I was disappointed in service
All the food is good here but we ate breakfast items today and they were great too!
I love this place! It always has good food. Try the Appale-chain mimosa!
We were disappointed in our Valentine's Day dinner at THC. Of course, we had reservations, but we were seated directly across from the kitchen entrance (no door, constant staff movement), the 2 lightbulbs on the wall fixture were FILTHY and covered with DUST and debris. Poor attention to detail, and highly unappetizing. I had the 'honey dusted fried chicken', which disappointed. Tiny chicken legs, and a breast, all greasy and lacking in taste. 'Honey dusted' is a nice term, but the promised honey taste was just missing. Service was adequate. Worst of all was the complete inaccessibility of the restaurant. I have issues with lengthy walks, having had a stroke several years ago and continue to have balance issues. Why was the original main entrance closed up, and moved to the side alley? We parked in front of Brooks Bros., and had to travel the longest distance possible just to enter/leave through the front/rear/only entrance. This is insane, and until it is rectified, we will not be back, even though we used to drive to Asheville to dine at THC before the Greenville location was opened. Where did the magic go that we used to love? The entrance/exit, the lack of accesibilty for those with mobility issues, noise, the terrible seating, the filthy lightbulbs, the terribly greasy fried chicken, small portions all contributed to a very poor value and disappointing evening. With the intense competition in Greenville for restaurant patrons' dollars, I fear for the future of TPC in Greenville. Sad, but true.
It was fine, but we felt rushed, I know it was Valentine’s Day but we had a reservation but still felt like we were being Rushed to leave. There was a table squeezed in right beside us and felt like they were eating with us. Food was good, most of tables was great. Brussels were a little burnt.
The food and service were great.
food is always unique, and the biscuits are the BEST !!!
Very delicious food and friendly staff. All sustainable foods.
Good atmosphere. Slow drink service. Attentive server. Some items excellent, some mediocre.
Food was delicious. We sat near prep station so we were able to see a lot of good food being prepared. Definitely will visit again
