Service was fabulous, food amazing
Had a wonderful experience on a busy Saturday night.
Girls weekend included dinner here. Went for the evening special of the hogs head. It was crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside. Chef even came and inquired about our thoughts. Given they do their own butchering on site, the special made use of the whole hog while providing a new and excellent experience.
Food was really good and service was excellent
The celery root soup should be a spa treatment, possibly even a sacrament--gorgeous velvety texture, perfect garnishes, generous serving size. Everything else I had was also lovely, incl. a perfectly done pork chop and the gjetost ice cream dessert. This was my first time at Tullibee, and I will definitely be back to see what other seasonal/local wonders they produce.
Enjoyed most of the food. A few bites of duck was tough. I personally cook & write cook books. Strong 3-4 stars. Awesome service. Always enjoy farm to table type food. Missing the “wow” factor. I am always critical, but overall very well done. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar area. Ambiance rocks!!! Service stellar!
Had a really nice celebration lunch for 7. Service was great, food I would highly recommend. Only issue was a email after lunch saying the reservation was not eligible for 100 points. Not sure if it’s the restaurants issue or OpenTable. Not a very nice thanks you for spending $300 for lunch and $16 each for valet on 3 cars
Very customer focused. Wait staff was phenomenal.
Food was fantastic. Service was timely. Our waiter was nice and we liked him but I can imagine not everyone would - he had a sarcastic nature which we thought was funny. Restaurant is cool, great vibes, fun design. Was loud in there but was cool to be able to see the service from the kitchen as we were seated - always fun to watch chefs do their thing. If you’re going there thinking you’re going to get a lot of food for your money, don’t bother. But if you’re expecting a delicious, well portioned and refined meal in an urban hipster upscale joint, this is the place.
I ordered a pork chop and it was under cooked and I was unable to eat it.
They offered a new one but by the time I already have eaten the garnish so I decline but they still charge me the whole thing.
My husband ordered roasted potatoes without cheese since he is lactose intolerant they brought potatoes with cheese they brought out a new order but by the time my husband had already finish his chicken
The restaurant was busy so I guess that is why they took a little longer to come and check on us.
A great night! I cannot think of any problems we had. Our server was great and so was the food.
Amazing service by our waiter Phil! Great pre Valentine's dinner. We were staying at the hotel and wanted to get our dessert to go but the waiter said he'd have someone run it up. Next thing you know, there he was with our perfectly plated dessert. Talk about above and beyond. Definitely will be back!
Very good food and atmosphere if you are willing to pay.
Everyone in our party of four was over the top thrilled with the ambiance, service and food. The dishes were creatively prepared and presented and were extremely flavorful. The table setting was even attractive with the leather flatware sleeves; nice touch.
Tulibee is a fun restaurant in the lower level of the Hewing- the atmosphere is lovely with the wood fire oven and bright city lights.
The server was friendly and charming.
The food was hit or miss. We split a "butcher cut" steak that was "ok" for 50+ dollars. Good but certainly not brilliant. We ordered a squash side that was made in the wood fire oven- absolutely al dente aka raw. We were offered another one but our event was getting close. She comped us with a dessert that was delicious.
Lastly it would be good if they had a better cocktail list. Their NA drink list was impressive.
The other thing is the menu is pretty limited.
So- I would go again. But I was hoping for more.
Great ambience
Most dishes very good however the flank steak entre was just ok with the 14 ounce stand alone Flank steak for $74.00! V tough and laden with gristle
Tullibee was so disappointing. The food and drink were good, but service was abysmal. It took 30+ mins just to get a drink and 30-45 mins between each course. (I am not kidding.) Tables that were seated after us were finishing multiple courses while we sat. Our server was both overwhelmed and rigid and impatient with us. At one point, she said, "I'm going to do something nice for you, like buy you a round of drinks." When our bill came, she had comp'd a side of mushrooms. (I am not kidding.) This was a $400+ meal for 3 of us. Food was good but not at all worth the wait. Or the attitude.
My wife and I had a great dinner at Tullibee. Service was very friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic! Highly recommend.
Tullibee has a wonderful atmosphere, perfect cozy lighting, and beautiful arched windows to let in the cityscape. The food is a thoughtful combination of flavors! Wonderful service!
Fantastic service and great vibe!
Had a great experience at Tullibee. The food was delicious and the service was fast. Our server knew a lot about the menu, had good recommendations and made the night fun.
Amazing food! Love the vibe of the restaurant and bar. Not too fussy, more of a cozy chic vibe.
Great food and exceptional, fast, professional service. A very special place to have brunch the day after our wedding!
Used to be our favorite restaurant. Things have changed. Several dishes are not what they used to be. Service is slow.
Been there twice- both times had great service and excellent food. Cocktails are phenomenal.
Tullibee has become our favorite local restaurant. Great menu. Farm to table meets creative flair. Solid beef and pork selections but vegetarians can be well satisfied too. Terrific bar. Old fashioned made right. Service attentive and knowledgeable.
We had a great experience at Tullibee. We eloped in the afternoon and took friends out to dinner to celebrate before staying at the hotel. Our server, Phil, was excellent. He recommended a great wine to pair with the food we chose. Food was really good, I thought the scallops were slightly over salted. But all in all it was a great time!
We went to the tullibee to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday and had the absolute best experience! The food was amazing and you can tell the chefs are very passionate about the taste and presentation of food. Our server John was THE MAN and made our evening unforgettable! He was super knowledgeable about the all the menu items, ingredients in dishes, and even what farms the ingredients came from. He made our night! We will for sure be back :)
We have been coming here since they opened and have never been disappointed but this last time was probably our best experience. The food is amazing so that is always consistent factor, but this last time we had probably the best server we have had at any restaurant. He was so personable and honestly the best. His name was Phil, and I hope his managers know great he is!
The food is not the best. The place it self is very nice, and I will go back for a drink, but not the food. the people working there are very good. And professional.
Lovely food, great service and cocktails.
Our dinner server was Kate V. I believe - I read her name off our receipt. Older women with a ponytail. She said some rude things to us like "No don't order that, I don't recommend that, or I wouldn't be doing my job". She tried to really upsell us, even though our bill was $106, it felt like we weren't ordering enough, or we were being cheap. She just made multiple off putting comments- like when we ordered apple pie for dessert, she said "oh, just one?" And at one point she came over to get the check and said she was sorry, "she just COULDN'T GET AWAY from this other table"- like in an exasperated way. It was really just a turn off. It felt like her service was fake, and wasn't very genuine. It was really disappointing.
We went out to celebrate my 35th birthday, and it was a beautiful meal with expert service and cozy ambiance. Couldn’t have asked for better!
It was totally FINE!
Don't be put off by the fact that this is a restaurant in a hotel. This is a chef-driven restaurant in an impressive space just off the lobby/bar area. We were there on New Year's Eve, so it was a Prix Fixe Menu. Every course was impressive and after a quick chat with the chef they handled a food allergy at our table without issue. The risotto was a personal fave. Impressive service, fun atmosphere and great food. Check them out!
We had reservations for a NYE fixed menu. There were several courses and each was a good portion size, we were full by the end. The optional wine pairing was reasonably priced. Our server was very attentive. The food was very good!
Anniversary
Worst decaf coffee ever. No decaf espresso beans!
The atmosphere is incredible. The service is great. The food is alright. They get a little extra points for the presentation which is clearly a focus.
This was one of the first meals I've had in my life where I preferred the vegetables to the main course. And when you're ordering steak, you expect that to be the showstopper. It wasn't. Not a great flavor at all.
Overall, its way overpriced for what you get. I wouldn't tell anyone to go here for more than just drinks.
Also, please tell you cooks to stop eating with the hands they are preparing food with. You have an open kitchen. We can see you eating...that glove on your hand is no longer clean after entering your mouth. gross.
Great vibe and atmosphere! Will definitely be back.
