   If you prefer quieter dinning as I do upstairs is the place to be. If you prefer noise and busy the first floor is the place to be. Service and food were great. I had the drum fish and it was perfect:

   It was a 3-course meal for easter Sunday. The soup was good but not hot, the crab cakes were dry and over cooked, and they ran out of creme broulee so I had the hard as a rock strawberry hand pie. I was very disappointed. I enjoyed the food from the weekend before at French quarter fest.

   The quality of food and the attention to detail in terms of the service makes this a five star restaurant. Incredible value and I will be returning.

    Avoid if you can, I will not return. I had a reservation scheduled, they made our party wait 40 minutes. It wasn’t particularly busy, we were on time, and the host greeted us but couldn’t do much else. The managers handled business in the open of anyone down stairs, so we could see and hear their confusion among the staff. Making a todo out of nothing. When we were finally approached that a table was ready, the sever shared that they are understaffed this date, they apologized, then said our table will be on the 3rd floor, and expect service to be slow. The elevator she brought us to, right next to the kitchen entrance and exit, so we get to share a tight corridor with staff trying to go to tables, bussers trying to clear plates into the dish pit, and the elevator is slow, very slow, so it’s an appreciable amount of time you will be waiting while all this happens around you. We all pile into the elevator, get to the 3rd floor, seated at our table and provided a set menu. Service is fine, the waiter unprompted shares her struggles with the restaurant as she manages our table. We ask for things, the come later, or far later, but don’t worry it’s because we’re on the 3rd floor so apparently it’s just to be expected. We place orders from the set menu, and later we are informed they do not have those set menu items. So we reorder, dessert we ordered wasn’t available anymore later, so we had a choice of grasshopper ice cream, you know the one from the grocery store, or quickly slapped together bread pudding, which was more like bread. We had a different expectation then what is presented. The experience was terrible, the cost exorbitant, the waitress was fine, management really really needs to be better. *here’s an update. I received a call from the restaurant. I tried politely to reason that this was the experience, that I felt my representation was accurate, and he decided to hang up on me saying “you’re trying to make me look bad” that’s management approach.
