Tsukada Nojo is such a cute place to get together with friends and family. The food is amazing and the nabe is sooo yummy! They ran out of their signature Bijin Nabe so I was a little sad abt that... but everything else was good. Service was also amazing. The best part is the cute shave ice at the end!
Shabu Shabu was delicious!! Great fresh, food quality ingredients! Appetizers were all yummy, we tried the deep fried enoki mushrooms, jalapeño hamachi and musubi’s!!! Food on point, service was so-so.
We had a wonderful time and the food is always great! We love that the restaurant is kid and stroller friendly. Never disappointed when we dine here!
Great food and friendly service
Coming back for more fried enoki & kale salad! Oh and the unagi fried rice was incredible too. Awesome atmosphere, food & service!!!
It was my first visit, and I had a great experience. Food, service and ambiance were all good. Generous portions on the nabe, took half home to eat later. I will definitely recommend to friends & family
Good food with good service
The appetizers and nabe was solid great flavors. The shave ice dessert delicious.
The scotch on the rocks was a tad bit watered down.
Parking was convenient.
We had a delightful evening; the food hit the spot, and the waitress was helpful, positive, not pushy, happy...It's a block to the convention center, which is how we found it, but a nice break from the usual choices during a convention. When we got there, a large group (a lab???) was having a great and noisy time: not offensive, just loud. When they left, it was quiet enough for our aging ears to be happy.
Great place for nabe, my favorite Japanese restaurant
Came for the first time for my friend’s birthday. We admired the ambience and environment of the interior restaurant - very welcoming, modern, extremely spacious, and well-lit!!! Waitress - Very attentive, gave great drink and food recommendations, and knowledgeable about the menu. I observed how the overall servers were very collaborative as considerate - they definitely looked out for each other’s tables checking on guests and filling waters when an assigned server was momentarily busy. We enjoyed all of our drink and food selections and absolutely LOVED DESSERTS - polar bear shave ice and strawberry polar bear shave ice!!!!!! Would recommend this restaurant to others!
My husband & I went to the Convention Center & wanted to find a new restaurant to try. The outside of the restaurant was nice, the interior was fun, unique & stylish! The hostess was sweet, we were seated immediately & our waiter was excellent! He explained their menu & gave recommendations. We chose 4 very different items & shared them- we were not disappointed! The salad was amazing, the soup was unique & flavorful, the beet wrapped tacos were beautiful & yummy! We ordered sushi & it was perfect! Food & ambiance was great & prices were reasonable! We are bringing our kids with us next time!
Food was great and I love the decor.
Love the food .and menu. Customer service was bad before but I saw some improvement.
Good quality food and unique dishes, but the night we were there they ran out of two of their most popular items, including their signature broth. Also the value proposition is very inconsistent too - some dishes are generous and a great deal, others are tiny and a rip-off. Service is good, not the best or most attentive when they get busy, but the staff are friendly. Very little parking at the restaurant, but there's a separate lot on the other side of the block.
We got the bijin nabe which was really tasty. A chicken broth flavor. It was delicious. Lots of people were ordering fried enoki mushrooms. Will have to try that the next time. Shave ice is amazing!
This time wasn’t as great as before. The waiters were forgetting many of the things we needed...they forgot to bring the burner but brought the hot pot. They forgot to add the egg in the hot pot and also forgot the noodles. We got the udon noodles at the end of the hot pot when there was no soup left....the waiters forgot to refill our water more than one time when we asked three times for refill. The waiters even forgot to bring extra bows for us. We only had two bows with a party of five people. I was very disappointed.
Great experience! Lots of choices. They specialize in fresh local produce. We had the nabe broth, is full of collagen and so delicious. Great service, delicious food and a relaxed and clean atmosphere. We will definitely return many more times!
Food was on the salty side for us.
Pregnant lady who seated us did not smile and was not welcoming. All the food we ordered were on the salty side. Namban chicken did not come out for a while and was not hot when finally came to the table.
Always delicious : )
Had a spectacular time here celebrating my mom’s birthday. Service was impeccable and timely, food was WONDERFUL, the ambiance stellar. My mom could not stop talking about it after we left.
We ordered the hamachi, the spicy nabe, and the kale salad upon our waitresses’ recommendation (this had a smokey flavor which was wonderful and unlike anything I have ever had - amazing!!). The spicy nabe could serve 3-4 people. My favorite part of the nabe was the fried burdock, it had such an earthy taste to it. Not so much ghost pepper “spicy” as “having spices.”
They brought us a polar bear shave ice with a little candle and lettering for my mom’s birthday which was really sweet. Would love to try the mango variety next time. We will most definitely be back!
The bijin nabe is a religious experience in collagen, mouth feel, and taste.
We waited over 45 minutes for our food. But the food was delicious.
Great inventive Japanese izakaya. Service could be improved, but was great.
Our entire experience was great. The presentation as well as the taste of the food was excellent. Our server, I think her name was Tiana, was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. We had appetizers, drinks, and nabe, but our bill was surprisingly reasonable. Our table even received a complimentary bear shave ice for my birthday. We left satisfied and satiated. We’ll definitely be returning. They even have a stamp card. 😁🤙🏼
Boyfriend and I ended up going for a valentines day dinner and we were one of the last reservations service was great, food was amazing, we got the hot pot and it was honestly one of the best hot pots I've eaten.
Ice cream sandwich I would highly not reccomend though.
Love the food and good service!!!
Nice clean spot. Great services and good food. Fair price
The major issue was we never received our drink over after an hour of waiting.
Good place for a casual drink and good izakaya style food.
I love Tsukada Nojo and will find any excuse to go back. The food is amazing and I can't get enough of their spicy bijin nabe!
Tsukada Nojo is always nice to eat at ! The food & service is always on point. Keri has been our server the last two times and she’s great!
The food there was very tasty. The waitress that helped us was also very attentive and brought some rice for our little one.
Salmon noodles Chicken salads services
All were not special at all
No reason to go back for that price
The service is great and the food is awesome. We will definitely go back again.
I was turned away at 1045 as the worker said they did last call already so we couldn’t dine.
I would recommend this place once and try it for yourself. We had appetizers and spicy nabe. Our total cost for a party of 4 and 6 beers was $200.
The food was amazing and great! I did like the server we had but when we tried to talk to other servers they did not seem very friendly. Many of them just gave us a rude, "Okay". The price of the food was a bit expensive, but the quality was amazing!
