Drinks like the Museum of Us (a combination of rye, cointreau, chamomile, and bitters served over a large ice cube) perfectly complement Wise’s unbridled flavors. Over the years, Trust has earned national praise and nods from publications like the San Diego Union-Tribune, who named Wise the chef of the year.

Fabulous food, inventive cocktails, stellar service. Inside seemed noisy but we were seated outside, which was lovely. Pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

We waited far too long for the server to take our order and for the food to arrive. I love the well curated menu, but most of the dishes we tried were overly salty. We asked to take our leftovers to-go, but the server took the plate back and never brought it back :(

My food was very good. But it was not quite at the level of the price I paid. Overall the experience was good. But for that price, I wanted comfy chairs, white tablecloths and a bit of a unique experience. The experience was the same as a chain restaurant with high prices.

When we got there the hostess did not want to seat us inside, but when we asked to speak with a manager we were immediately offered a table inside and the service was fantastic. We appreciated the assistance and had a wonderful time for Mother’s Day.

Hostess was not very welcoming. But once we got our table things progressed. Food was very good. Cold brew was delicious. Fried chicken and pancakes were the star. Chilaquiles were good and steak and eggs was just ok. Sticky bun with lavender ice cream was delicious. Skip the limeade and the flautas. Would return but would sit inside. Waiter was nice and food took long, but was worth the wait
