   The food was the only thing that saved the experience. Our waiter was rude and never even offered or brought us drinks (only water). The floor was sticky, tables were dirty, the menus had wet smelly beer all over them. When I told the waiter I wanted my burger well done his response was "oh so burned?" Who says that?

   Got to the restaurant all they were serving was chicken tenders and quesadillas. They said they had no food. Did not bother to call -we had a reservation for five.

   I made a reservation for 7@11:30 for Easter Sunday. The management only staffed 3-4 people. One cook. One bartender. One waitress. With only three tables seated, the cook prepared each individual table at a time, ours being last. There for over two hours. Food barely warm. Mimosas served in a rock glass.

   Great atmosphere for our party of 11. Portion sizes were perfect. Homemade fries were delicious.

   This was my first time at Truman's 216 and it was overall okay. We had 4 people in our group. I had the salmon lox eggs benidict with a bloody mary. I was most disappointed in the prices. 20$ for eggs benedict with a side of pancakes, sausage,bacon,or toast. Online it was a reasonable $13-16 which is why I chose trumans. Please update the website. Otherwise my meal was delicious. However, one member in our party got the same thing but with holindase on the side. The dish came out missing the eggs, and dill. When we asked for dill they seemed to be out?! How does a restaurant run out of an herb ? My husbands pancakes had burnt flakes on them, making it taste burnt, and he got the regular eggs Benedict that he said was very tasteless. I chose trumans for the variety of eggs benedicts just for him. He ordered the mimosa which, he wasnt complaining, but only had a splash of orange juice, so it was mostly champagne. The second mimosa he had came out on a rocks glass which the server was very apologetic in that regard. She said they ran out of champagne flutes. I just dont see how when it wasnt that busy the restaurant could be out of so many things? It was us and another table that morning. We were the last party for brunch so the service was attentive and very friendly. For the 4 of us our bill came out be $40 per person for brunch with drinks. I think managment should do a better job at stocking their establishment with the needs for their staff and guests. Im glad it wasnt that busy because they wouldnt have been able to serve us anything.

   We were looking for a brunch spot and discovered this gem. It was still decorated for Christmas which was fun. The food and service were both amazing. It was Saturday so they were not crowded. The serving sizes were large. The only downside is plastic silverware. The only other issue was parking. It was quiet so we did find free street parking but the lots in this area are all $20 even though there were no events and no one parking in them.

   I’ve been to Trumans a few times but this time will be my last. It is a casual neighborhood bar that offers good food. But Jen the bartender made my experience extremely uncomfortable. I asked for dressing to be on the side and when I receive my salad the dressing was on the side, but there was also dressing on the salad. I asked her if they were dressing on the salad and for the ounces of chicken on the salad. She seemed pretty annoyed and didn’t return for 10 minutes and said she forgot. In the meantime, I try to use napkins to dry the dressing off the salad, because it was completely saturated. When she came back she saw that I wasn’t eating and I told her it was just too greasy, which she proceeded to argue with me about the semantics of whether it was oil or grease. Totally unprofessional. As someone who works in food service, I was overly polite to her despite not being happy. It is hard for me to see someone in this industry treat a patron with such disregard, very bad for business.

    3 members of my family and I went to Truman’s 216 before a Cleveland Browns game. Atmosphere was nice, the service fantastic, and the food delicious. This part of our game day get together was great for all of us. Definitely will go back to Truman’s, and highly recommend it to others.
