It was our first time at Truluck’s and it was great! The food is excellent and amazing service. Darius was knowledgeable and helpful and made our dinner a fantastic experience. We would definitely go again.

Wow! What an amazing experience! From the service to every bite of food! Our top favorites were the lighted menus! This was our first time seeing this! I wish every resturant had this! Also the dry ice smoke with the seafood tower! So fun and extra special! Also our waiter brought me a little chair for my purse!! So cute!! Also our waiter(I think his name was Johnny) was amazing!! He is a true gem and just the best! From his suggestions to his attentiveness, he was so great! Of course the food was to die for. We had a filet that was cooked to perfection and 2 fish dishes that blew us away! Even the broccoli was the best I have ever tasted! Also our drinks were so good! I had the Spicy Blackberry Margarita! Oh my gosh! So yummy! Also the Father’s Day gift that was on our table when we arrived was so special! It was a bag Elijah Craig Bourbon goodies! Definitely a Father’s Day that we won’t forget!

We keep returning to Truluck's over and over again because of the incredible food and service. This past Saturday was no exception. Between the 3 of us we had the parker house rolls, shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque, a crab claw, wedge salad, Caesar salad, 12 oz filet, and Chilean Sea Bass. Everything was prepared and delivered perfectly by our waiter Jimmy. Can't wait for our next dinner at Truluck's!

Service was extremely slow. It was out of rhythm with the cadence to an upscale dinner like this. Our bread service didn’t show up till after the appetizers were delivered the stone crab or poor quality they were dry, two of our guest had the 1 pound crab legs. There was nothing succulent bottom they also were dry, and some were actually shriveled up in the shell. TI’ve been to Trulock. In Naples, Florida many many times this was the second time I was at true looks in Austin overall it was a bad experience.

The food was good, especially the oysters on the half shell. The lobster bisque, however, was lukewarm at best. It could have been warmer without losing it's consistency. Our server was not very well trained, and I felt like she could have been more sophisticated for the level of quality of this restaurant. We were often left unattended, and as a result, we were late for our entertainment event at Moody Center. When she poured my companion's bisque in his bowl, she slopped it and some dropped on the table. She did not wipe it up. I realized this is a young town, but for this quality of restaurant, I expect a better level of service.

We are never disappointed at Truluck’s! The food is simply outstanding! My trout amandine was the best I’ve had anywhere, and my wife loves the salmon with jalapeño bearnaise. The service is always very professional and tuned in to meeting our needs. Our waitress, Brooke, was outstanding! We will request her for our future visits. Everything is so great at Trulucks, we will be back soon!
