   Very fine seafood, exceptional service, and a very pleasant environment make Truluck’s a winning choice for a special night out. Gluten-sensitive menus are available, and food can be prepared to meet dietary restrictions.

   Service and atmosphere were excellent. Though I prefer the downtown location, the Arboretum location remains classic. While our entrees were delicious, we were extremely disappointed in the stone crab. 6 jumbo claws at $38 each provided mediocre results at best in terms of quality of the meat. Clearly they had been frozen and thawed as they were mealy and mushy with most meat sticking to the shells unable to be removed. This is the second time I have experienced this at this particular location (the downtown location as well as locations in Houston have never disappointed!)....I am not sure why this location has such an issue with their well promoted specialty.

   Dear Scott, I',m so sorry to hear about your last visit and your experience with the stone crab claws. They are our signature item and we're invested in a lot to be able to have the infrastructure to get those from our base of operations in Naples, Florida all the way to Austin in less than 24 hours. The cooking process does sometimes lead to the sticking of the meat to the shells, but the texture and taste sound like there were more issues at play. Our chefs have looked extensively into that delivery and we pride ourselves on quality control. I will reach out privately again to see if I can learn more from your experience and try to invite you back and make it up to you.    Excellent food and service for a lovely Easter lunch! This remains our favorite special occasion restaurant. Another home run today!

   Amazing food by an amazing server. Would highly recommend this place for any special occasion. It was our 23rd wedding anniversary and we were taken well care of.
