TruFire Kitchen & Bar - Frisco
"Life Happens in the Kitchen".....
Met my cousin for lunch. Hostess was amazing and restaurant was superb.
Another hit restaurant in Frisco, Texas. Food was spot on. Tomahawk pork chop was amazing. Craft cocktails were great, service was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend.
Food was absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, nothing frozen! My husband and I loved our dishes! He had the chicken parm and I had the naked avocado salad. We will be returning to try other dishes!!!
The roasted artichoke was not good
The owner is fun and very involved with staff and patrons.
It was amazing and our waitress and food were fabulous. We will definitely be back.
One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Consistent quality, good gluten free choices.
Everything was wonderful from start to finish! We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated, and then our server took excellent care of us from waters through dessert. Bonus that the restaurant sources from local farms and businesses, and they do not offer plastic straws! If you really need a straw, they have a recyclable option. And that’s all before I tell you how delicious the food and drinks were! We can’t wait to go back to try more dishes on the menu!!
Was a little s
The food and service is always great! Would recommend this place to everyone.
TruFire has the right menu for a family that wants variety.
Greeting was a little wonky. We had reservations but our table wasn’t ready. No worries, we were happy to wait. But they kept trying to get us out of the waiting area for some reason. They tried to get us to go to the bar for drinks or appetizers on five or more separate occasions (really weird). Then they told us the bar was full service and tried to get us to eat there. We preferred a table (date night). Then they tried to get us to sit outside... but it was 92 degrees and we preferred to sit inside. Again, we were happy just waiting but they wouldn’t leave us alone. Finally we went to the bar to escape any more nudging to leave the waiting area. We were sat at a table in the bar a little later (though we had requested a standard table and this was a high top). Not a huge deal but it was weird and made us feel like we were in the way.
Someone took our drink orders and our server brought the drinks a little later. She did a good job. Food took a bit to prepare but our order was correct (and my wife eats Keto so her order was highly customized). And the food was delicious. My burger was great and my wife’s tuna was perfectly done and mild.
Overall a good experience. Great food. Good vibe. We would go there again and just accept the first invitation to wait in the bar next time 😁.
Awesome greeting at the door. Great food, great service.
Delicious Gluten free menu and great cocktails. TruFire always gives good service and enjoyable evening out.
Great, as always!
I've eaten many, many times at TruFire Frisco, both as a couple with my husband and with family/friends. The food is always outstanding - everyone within the party comments on it so it's not just my opinion. I am a celiac, and I can only eat gluten free food. That was my original reason for starting to patronize TruFire, it had a certified gluten-free menu. The GF food is excellent, the GF menu is expansive, and my food has never been cross-contaminated. In other words, as we celiacs say, I've never been "glutened." That is a great track record. The service is always friendly, accommodating, and speedy. We try to eat at slow periods because the noise level can get too high - it's a busy, happy place with background music. Also, as we get older, it's just harder to hear in a crowd. That is the only area where the restaurant needs to maintain awareness.
Excellent food, service as always
The manager met us when we came in before the hostess talked with us and was helpful to make sure we were taken care of. We had a reservation so we were sat pretty quick. The server was great and personable. He had great suggestions for drinks, starters and mains. The drinks were a little slow to come out but the server was pro active and let us know it would take a few more moments. The food came out at a good pase and was all that it was cracked up to be. Everything was great, even the gluten free items for my wife were great to such an extent if you didn't know it was gluten free you wouldn't be missing a thing.
Overall a great experience.
Great food and experience. Will be back.
Jason was our server and recognized us from previous visits. Very friendly and the service was great.
We shared the Armenian cheese dish to start...pretty good. I was impressed with the restaurants willingness to customize the pasta dish for one of our members. Two of us had the shrimp salads. All excellent and service was adequate for our needs. A little too busy and noisy for me...
We really enjoyed our evening. Our waiter Kale was very helpful.... the food was delish and the the wine selections fun. We will go back!! :)
All 6 ordered the same brunch-#1 on the Brunch menu with salmon. Two ordered from Gluten Menu, and impressed with choices available. Service was slow-had to remind of 2 birthday celebrations, but food and desert to celebrants was excellent, food served was impressive and delicious.
TruFire is one of our favorites.
We take out of town guests there because of the diversity of menu options.
They all have loved the experience.
Service is prompt.
So, if you are trying to schedule a meal before event tickets TruFire has always made our experience "just work."
Great food, cocktails and service!
Very good brunch options. Food was excellent, great coffee and mimosas!
Great service and good brunch menu
My niece's dish had a long blond hair in her angel hair pasta. Her own hair is dark as was all of us at the table.
I did not send my chicken marsala back but in retrospect I should have. The mushroom sauce was warm but the actual chicken was "cold". The angel hair pasta was also cold.
Taste was very good but disappointed with cold food.
The fish that I received was very old and off tasting.
Service was excellent as was food. A little hidden away in shopping area but once you find it you will go back!
This a a great place to eat. The have a good selection of gluten free choices in their menu. It was well worth the drive to this location.
I had the salmon eggs Benedict, my husband had the massive pancake at brunch. The food was on point, wonderful $2 mimosas, but service was a little slow and they were not busy. Great atmosphere and interesting menu! Definitely worth a try.
Another good experience at TruFire. I came with my son for a little mommy/son dinner date. They have a spoken kids menu with typical kid items (mac and cheese, chicken fingers, pasta). They are all $4 and HUGE for a kid portion, definitely a great deal. My son had fries and chicken fingers and they were very good. I had the avocado salad and added salmon. It is almost like guacamole - cubes of avocado, tomatoes, and feta served with flatbread squares. It's a very fresh dish. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I also had the pineapple cilantro cocktail which was excellent. My only complaint was our server. She gave us all of 2 seconds to get our order after sitting down, didn't really greet us, just asked if we knew our order. Then when we were done eating we weren't checked on for a long time so we could get the check and go. This is not the typical service we get at TruFire. Nothing terrible but not as good as usual.
Everything was fine. Because there were so many families with kids there, it wasn’t a great place for an adult couple on a date.
First visit to TruFire and it was excellent. Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Will certainly be returning soon
Brunch here was delish!!!
My husband and I went for Sunday brunch. The food was great. We did have to request service from a waiter after sending their for approximately 10 mins.
But once we made our plight know, Carson was wonderful. He apologized for the delay and made sure we received excellent customer service.
We have eaten at TruFire many times and it has never disappointed us. Totally recommend it to everyone. Great food, great service, and great ambience!
We usually enjoying eating dinner here, but this night, both of our dinners were over-seasoned. I was unable to finish mine because the salt seasoning was too much.
Chicken Parm was especially good. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service was on point. Will definitely be back.
