Welcome to the True Wild Distilling Bar & Restaurant, A live-fire restaurant nestled between towering whisky and gin stills inside a stunning heritage building. We went for my birthday.What a great place.Food was amazing.The ambience and the windows into the distillery make it a super cool place.The bartender even gave my husband and I free birthday shot! Service was great!

We should have waited for our server before looking at food menu. Was not aware the portions were so huge and made for sharing. Food is amazing!

What a fantastic spot! We're so glad we found it and made a date with friends to have a bite to eat and a few drinks. The interior is contemporary, classy and relaxed...all make for a great dining experience. Our server was great and the food was delicious. We also loved our cocktails. This gem in our city also offers an events room that is gorgeous. The stained glass windows, the stylish bar and the space makes it a great place to host a neat event.

This is my second time coming to true distillery, and I absolutely love it. The bone marrow is awesome. However they slightly changed the beef tartar and had a little too much sauce sent to my liking. The baked oysters were spectacular. The steak and the beats where to die for. The cocktails are always very tasty and the service was incredible.

Beautiful building, one of a kind in Calgary. Food was very good, service excellent. The server was very knowledgeable about the building and the story of the restaurant/distillery coming together. Take a walk around and check out the whole space, it’s an amazing spot. Lucky to have this in our city.

This was the best dining I have had in a very long time! The service was outstanding as was every single menu item we ordered! My personal favourites were the tartar and the trout! The fennel salad was also so great, it would be a misstep not to mention! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable! Can’t wait to go back!

Loved it! Wish we were seated on the main level as I preferred the ambience. So maybe request it if it matters to you.
