The food and service were great. I love being able to eat so many things off the menu as a vegetarian. Several in our party had meat-free meals and enjoyed them a lot. One of my favorite places. 😍

2. If you’re looking for a quiet corner to have a conversation, it’s hard to do that here. Lots of loud background music is distracting and causes some stress, which isn’t conducive to a relaxing meal. 2. Our waiter charged us in error on several items, compared to the menu price listed when we ordered. Be alert to this, and speak up if it’s not correct. Our waiter corrected it for us. 3. The food itself was delicious and attractively plated.

The food was great as always, but also as always, the service wasn't great. The hostess was nowhere to be found when we got there and when she finally came up to the front she just looked at us without any greeting. Our waitress had not personality and barely spoke. We saw her when she finally greeted us and we ordered and when she dropped off the check. No other time during our meal. I've been to many other True Food locations and every one of them has been better run than this one.

One of the most consistently great food experiences in KC. Their tenderloin, salmon and beef hamburgers are second to none.

They were out of 3 things we ordered and it was impossible to get our server’s attention when we needed something. Someone else dropped off our order, someone else was kind enough to bring ketchup and another drink after we flagged them down, but - aside from seeing him talking with the bartender for 20 minutes - we didn’t see our server until he brought the check. Will never go back.
