Great first visit.
Very nice, pretty quiet for a Sunday brunch, close parking. However, umami is not an ingredient as listed on the menu.
The food and service was spot on! However, their adult beverages are slim for beer and wine choices. The prices are good. Great and fresh food with current seasonal ingredients.
Actually a sisters’ get-together for small business Saturday shopping. She is from PA and I knew she would enjoy eating at True Foods Kitchen and she did!
Great server, great service, amazing food and great vibe!
Will definitely come back!
Everything about the meal was incredible! Service was friendly and timing was perfect. The food was delicious and and your could just taste the good clean eating! We have a family with a variety of food allergies and sensitivities and all were satisfied. We will definitely go back.
Very diverse menu. All choices were tasty. Service fine. Enjoyed the sorta outside dining location. Portions on the light side. No 'people' bags needed.
Service was horrible.
We had to keep getting the waiters attention as he would check on other tables but not ours.
When requested a manager he looked at the table then walked away after thinking it was only the pizza that had cheese in the center of it and mostly crust. Never bothered to ask if there was a problem.
When he finally decided to come back to the table it was nothing further to discuss.
The Annapolis location is extremely white washed.
I frequent true food in Bethesda and never experienced this.
Will not patronize this location again.
Each one of our party of four tried something from a breakfast item to pizza, lasagna Bolinas and a tuna salad and every one enjoyed their meals and all agree that yes, we would return.
Overall Great Experience! Dan (server) was amazing!! I was actually nervous about the menu, but the chicken sausage pizza was delicious!! Looking forward to my next visit.
Great service and delicious food
The food is very good, the ambiance is lacking as lights are very bright and the room is very noisy. Maybe more booths for privacy as the tables are very close together.
And the booth seats are not made well- you can feel the springs and uneveness as you sit down...
I was somewhat disappointed with the food. It was just okay. After leaving dinner, I went upstairs to another restaurant for dessert and a glass of wine.
Excellent service and delicious food
True Food Kitchen has a very interesting menu and some items are outstanding. Particularly good at lunch was the Chicken Avocado Wrap and the Korean Noodle Bowl. Unfortunately they don't have any soda drinks but the Passion Fruit Limeade was a pretty good substitute.
Service was slow but very friendly , knowledgable and kind. Food was very good with unique choices. Will go back.
The food is very good. The prices are high. Servers are excellent.
True food kitchen is truly for the health conscious diner. The menu begins with a handful of unsweetened beverages and skinny cocktails. There’s nothing here for the carnivore with a big appetite. I went with the grass-fed burger, which was really tasty and well prepared albeit a little smaller than what you’d find at most restaurants. Protein choices were limited… one sea bass, one salmon, turkey burgers. I was warned that the shrimp tacos, though good, would not fill me up. But the worst part of the evening were the uncomfortable metal chairs. They made the experience feel like an eternity when I was in and out in less than an hour. My server, Sara, was outstanding… very pleasant with an extensive knowledge of the menu. Five stars for Sara, one for the chairs.
We had an amazing birthday lunch for our son! The poke bowl was a favorite! The manager was very sweet and accommodating to our needs. Steve was great too!
Great food and wonderful service. We'll be back.
I’m a fan of True Food Kitchen when it works, but this location is going through some growing pains with food preparation. I was told the restaurant had been open about 4 months. The Greek hummus was a disaster. The plate was 90% hummus. I counted 4 olives, 3 half tomatoes, 3 cucumbers, and a few slithers of onion. Did the kitchen not order enough vegetables? The grass-fed burger was ordered medium, and it arrived in various stages of medium rare, medium, and mostly well done (i.e., no red). The kale salad was dripping with too much dressing; didn't finish it. The one item that was acceptable was the flourless chocolate cake (not too dry); though, I should have told them to leave off the ice cream or whatever that frozen concoction happened to be. Service by Alex, the waitperson, was great: friendly, smiled, attentive. She was wonderful. The maître d’s were friendly and welcoming, as well. Now, if they could get the food prep persons to be as attentive…
Even on a cold day, the outdoor patio was cozy and comfortable. The service is exceptional and I love all the gluten free and dairy free options.
Food came out slow and not together. Drinks were very slow, some overlooked entirely.
Always perfect. Food is delicious and service is impeccable and the server was quite personable.
I am a regular. Love the food. Just wish the acoustics were better.
Great food with a large seasonal menu!
This restaurant is total awesome! The food and service was fabulous. Will be back. Highly recommend.
Awesome! Richard was a amazing server!
Fresh healthy ingredients made grain bowls palate pleasers..ancient grains and Korean noodle. A definite must if you visit Annapolis.
Fresh food. Great service.
Nice to know that semi-healthy food can taste this good. Very pleasant experience all the way around. However it did kind of feel like a cafeteria. Other than that though it was top notch. Love the edamame dumplings and lasagna. Shrimp tacos were also solid As well as the Korean noodle bowl
First time here - my lunch partner as well - what fabulous healthy food!!
Always great service and food!
Great place to eat! Good, fresh food! Our meals also came quickly, and the waitress was super nice! Definitely recommend!
Our fist time but will not be our last. Love the table app for the menu. If you cannot have spicy food, read careful or ask. That was our mistake.
Quality of the food was great and love the seasonal menu concept always!
I wouldn’t go back. Food was just ok. Took too long to come out to us. Was at least 10 minutes late. We know because the manager came over and told us, but didn’t do anything for us. We waited a long time for the check, and at some point it just appeared. No check book or way to know that it was on our table. Just an upside down receipt placed there at some point. Couldn’t hear our waiter talking through his mask. Some waiters were masked and others weren’t. It wasn’t clear why on its face, but mostly had no idea what our waiter was saying. Would have preferred him not wearing a mask at this point. It’s all theater anyway.
The squash pizza was not good. Super crispy and borderline burned crust, without any crunch at all under the pizza. Picked up the first piece and everything fell off the slice. Flavors were fine and seemed to go together, but the menu was way too limited given the oddity of the foods. No coherent theme on type of food left us confused. We had a 5 year old with us and we weren’t given a kids menu or even told about it until we went to order. He probably had the best meal with his burger. Seems like a good date spot if you want to grab drinks and have a light meal, but not a great place if you’re hungry and you want a nice meal.
We weren’t sure where to go to eat and just happened to pick True Food Kitchen. Everything about this place is amazing! The atmosphere is beautiful. I don’t believe there is a bad seat in the place. You also can not go wrong with anything on their menu we got three different entrees and shared. My friend had a nut allergy and the staff was INCREDIBLY accommodating and concerned. While everything was awesome the best part of the ENTIRE experience was our waiter. He was hands down the best waiter I’ve ever had! I’ve gone to a ton of different restaurants and I’ve had some decent wait staff, but not a single person can top Chris! Shout out to you! Your personality and energy was just amazing! You made our night perfect! Thank you so much!
As usual, the Food, Service & Atmosphere were outstanding!
We’re regulars, but its’s still nice to be recognized by Leah (hostess) warmly greeted.
We asked Leah whether any of our Favorite Servers were working (Yes’m three of them), so this time we choose Jan (Balanced) who not only takes good care of us, but also seems to enjoy us.
Wine: the “Farmhouse” Cabernet Sauvignon was splendid (we will order it again!)
Food: (its hard to choose among so many..)
Jane choose the Lasagna Bolognese (so yummy, we shared it);
Gary had the Spicy Panang Curry with rice, veges, basil, mint & thai curry broth (again yummy, we shared it).
Dessert: Ahh, we’re too full.. maybe next time
P.S. we’re married 52+ years, but its’s still “date night” when we go out.
Service was friendly and efficient. Food and drinks were tasty.
