The food was Amazing! The service was outstanding! The only sort of unpleasant part was our table. We were in the corner in the bar area, very small table for 3 people made it hard to not feel smooshed in. It felt like an afterthought even though I had made a reservation a week in advance. We would have loved to sit in the main dining room.

We dined here with a party of eight as a memorial dinner for my mom who recently passed away - she thoroughly enjoyed it here, so it seemed like the obvious choice to honor her memory. The food was excellent—beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The specials were all amazing, as were the desserts. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals, which makes it all the more disappointing that the service didn't match the quality of the kitchen. Our waitress mentioned she was new, so we did our best to be patient and polite. Unfortunately, we ran into a few issues through the course of our dinner. Our appetizer order was never entered, and instead, three of our entrees were submitted as appetizers, which meant they arrived awkwardly just after our soup and salads (one of which was incorrect). Once the waitress realized her mistake as we were all waiting for the other entrees to arrive, she simply suggested that we should probably eat them before they got cold, which made for an awkward dinner where some people were done eating before others’ food had even arrived—surely not the level of service one would expect at a place such as this. We were comped two drinks—about $22—which felt like a minimal gesture on a nearly $700 bill (including tip) given the repeated mixups. While the waitress was apologetic and clearly embarrassed, it’s ultimately the restaurant’s responsibility to ensure new staff are adequately trained and supported so every diner can enjoy a similar experience and they clearly dropped the ball in that regard. Everyone was left not knowing exactly how to feel about this place - the food truly was outstanding, but the service needs to improve significantly to justify the premium dining experience they’re aiming for.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent (Tom).The food was outstanding above, and beyond. Chef Dean puts out quality dishes. Made with love ! I recommend giving this place a shot. You will not regret it. The best contemporary Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Delicious and fresh dishes! We had the walleye special of the evening, and it was outstanding! Our guests had the spaghetti and meatballs and said it was the best they’ve ever had! Tom was our server, Great service, great atmosphere, love this place!

Some of the best food in the area!! So good! We had the morel and ramp bisque, meatballs, walleye and the short ribs with polenta. Everything was amazing!! First time at this place and it won’t be the last. It’s also just beautiful. The windows overlooking the river and golf course are amazing.

The dishes were executed with timeless and precision. Chef Dean took what he experienced in Europe and really brought it home. The staff was meticulous and crisp. The wine flights could use a bit of work but the wines presented were indicative of the regions of the cuisine. All in all it was an enjoyable experience
