I had a great time, food and drinks were amazing. Oxtail was nice, chicken croquettes were good, but missed a little bit more of chicken. I definitely look forward to coming back.

It was my wife’s birthday it was actually something that we’ve been planning for a while. We are from New YorkAnd this felt like it was home because it reminds back of our home country. The food was great the drinks were awesome the customer service felt like it was family talking to the ownership. It will be definitely one of the best times here on the West Coast we’ve had. We will be making this a continuous occasion. This is something that should be on every person’s list from the Caribbean that lives on the West Coast buck list.

Went there as we were looking for dinner before we went to see “On Your Feet”. Figured we’d do theme night and pick a Cuban/Dominican restaurant. Hadn’t been there so thought we’d try something new. Ambiance is okay. They have a nice waterfall on the back wall which creates the tropical ambiance. When we were sat we were told by the waitress that because they recently had a famous YouTubed they were busy and we should expect to wait 30-40 min for our meal. This wasn’t an issue as we got there at 6pm and didn’t have to leave until 7:30pm. Our waitress took our drink order and we didn’t see her again. Another lovely person came by to bring my husbands beer. She realized it wasn’t what he ordered and quickly took it back. She then informed us that she would now be our server. She also mentioned the wait but said it could be an hour. We let her know we just needed to have our food by 7:15 to leave at 7:30. Needless to say that by 7:10 when we asked they were still waiting in the back to make it. After asking many tones we finally got our food at 7:25. We rushed it down. Our server (Beamer) was awesome and gave us a free round and a discount on our bill. She was the best part of this restaurant. Overall the food wasn’t worth the stress and wait and we won’t return... but I would happily go find our server Beamer somewhere else!

I loved tropical savor!!! I'm so happy i finally went. My friends loved it as well. Our waitress was amazing too!
