This was our fourth time dining at Trick Rider and it was every bit as good as the first three. Service and food are as good as any in the Dallas area. Their steaks are better than any in the Dallas area. Good service and good food in a lively atmosphere.

The last two times we have gone trick rider we have bought the 12 ounce Wagyu steak. They have been the best steaks I’ve had in my entire life and how you recommend spending the money to come here every once in a while. The atmosphere is great and even if you’re not eating there, it’s a great place for people watching.

We decided to dine here primarily for the king crab entree which is on the website menu. We were so excited to try out the place in anticipation of the king crabs. When everyone in our party were settled to each order it the king crabs, our waiter said they have not had this item for several weeks. Not sure why this is not updated and reflected on their website menu nor why it is still on the actual menus presented to us. Menu is pretty limited; we ended up getting the branzino which was way too salty & greasy (only ate a few bites of it) and the ribeye-which was actually tasty. The sides were good too. Our waiter was nice but we are still very disappointed with management for not updating nor being accurate with what is offered, especially with such a limited menu. Restaurant was way too loud too.

The service was outstanding! And the food was great, I had the boiled oysters, wedge salad and the pork chop. The pork hop was cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere and a fun place to celebrate!

Wow! This restaurant is special and unique. We had a business meeting and everyone unanimously agreed this was one of the best restaurants we have ever been too. The atmosphere, food and service was brilliant! Diego our server welcomed us like we were coming to his own for dinner with his family. He made several recommendations that were outstanding, delivered amazing service and took the time to talk to us and answer all the questions we had. The food was delicious, the atmosphere and art is outstanding and having Diego was the icing on the cake. Truly a memorable experience and we can’t wait to go back and have Diego with us again.

My wife and I live in Frisco and have visited Trick Rider on 2 prior occasions. It never disappoints. We chose to celebrate our Anniversary this past Saturday at Trick Rider. Our reservation was for 7:15 pm, and as usual, we were running late. They texted us to confirm we were on our way, and they held the reservation for us. Upon arrival (15 minutes late), we were immediately seated. We had a great little booth facing the bar & the beautiful Swarovski crystal mustang overhanging the bar. This booth space was perfect for people-watching and catching a glimpse of the live entertainment. We ordered the grilled oysters and grilled artichoke with aioli for starters...we've had them before and loved them again. We split the wedge salad and a 10oz filet mignon for dinner. The steak was seasoned to perfection. The order of medium rare was spot on. We have eaten at most of the 5-star steakhouses in Dallas, and I have to say, this was among the very best steaks I've ever eaten. My wife agreed! Our server, Arcadio, was very friendly, humorous, and spot on all night with his service. He knew it was our Anniversary and he went above and beyond to make it special. A server we have had before, Diego, recognized us and popped over to say hello. The lighting is quite dim inside, but the restaurant provides ample lighting at the table to read the menus. We splurged and ordered a nice bottle of Cabernet. Overall, the entire bill (with 30% tip) came out to just under $500. It's quite pricey, especially considering we split a salad and entree. But about 1/2 of that cost was the bottle of wine, so you can definitely eat here for less. We love Trick Rider and will most definitely be back. It's one of our new go-to faves for fine dining...I give it 5 stars for food, service, atmosphere, and ambience.

Really nice experience for our anniversary. Drinks were excellent as were the tartare and shrimp cocktail appetizers. We loved the Halibut and Iberia pork. Great job all around with a big shout out to our server Sean for absolutely perfect service.

Our filets were to die for! The food was absolutely amazing,including the sides. Service was top notch. Only complaint is that this place is extremely loud and it wasn’t even at full capacity for a Friday evening at 7pm. Best steak I’ve ever had! Could cut it with a fork and cooked to perfection!

I heard good things about the restaurant and was impressed by the crystal horse above the bar. I was a bit surprised at the decor and the interior of the restaurant was not as elegant as I thought it would be. The bigger issue was how bad our experience was. Our waiter was not attentive to our table and it took over two hours for us to get our steaks and entrees. The waiter didn't event notice for the longest time and we had to go get the manager. Then the food finally came out and mine was rare when I ordered it medium well. The sides we ordered were so tiny and if they were meant to be individual the waiter should have told us. There were other issues such as a poor wine selection and bad wine served, but the big issue was how long it took to get our food. They comped our meal, which I appreciate, but then the cancelled our reservation on open table to try and prevent me from writing a review. Overall this restaurant was a terrible experience and I would not recommend going.
