We went for restaurant week and were not disappointed! So many options and were accommodating to Gluten Free dining. The meatball and arancini were incredible....as were the Bolognese and fruitti de mar! The best part was the tiramisu and the flourless chocolate cake!! We had a perfect table right by table 77. Enjoyed every second!

Fantastic Italian restaurant; can't be in the North End and not be! Drinks, appetizers, dinner, dessert, and coffee for four people, under $100 per person, including gratuity. A great dinner!

We ventured into Tresca as part of the Boston Restaurant Week event. My wife and I actually lived in the North End, many years ago, but parking considerations make coming here a bit difficult, so we do not return as often as w should. Tresca is a difference maker. We will be back, and back again!

The web site states that this restaurant offers, "Delicious Italian food and traditional hospitality." This is 100% true. The food is fantastic, and the chef-owner, Rich, comes out to personally inquire as to the quality of your experience. This used to be a standard practice, but it is now all too rare. The staff has clearly been carefully selected and trained to offer a level of hospitality that is seldom found in modern fine-dining establishments. Most of these now seem to figure that their reputations will fill the tables anyway, so they can be arrogant and careless (see: Ocean House, Dennisport, MA - great food and horrible manners).

That said, and a cautionary, my son - who is a legitimate foodie, ordered the carbonara, and was disappointed. I tried it, and had to agree. It was pasty and weird. The servers were quick to offer a replacement, the Bolognese came, and it was wonderful.

The chef sent us an order of their signature "doughnuts." We never would have ordered these. They are insane! Think fresh doughnut holes, hot from the oil, redolent of cinnamon and sugar, to-die-for pastry, with a bit of ice cream to take the edge off.

Excellent from the moment you walk through the door. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is calming yet alive especially if you get a window seat overlooking the North End. The food is phenomenal and it never disappoints.

We had a wonderful dinner at Tresca. The veal chop was especially delicious. The service was excellent and the chef came around to make certain everything was to our liking. My son has a seafood Alfredo ravioli with lobster that he loved! Plenty of leftovers to bring home!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. We tried a few appetizers and salads. We had the veal all three ways. They were all phenomenal. The rest of our meals were all great as well. We all had delicious desserts. Our server was great. He was knowledgeable about the food and offered great recommendations. He was fun and put up with us. We can’t wait to go back.

Came here for my fiancé’s Birthday. The ambiance and service was superb. I ordered the 12oz steak special and my fiancé got the lasagna. My steak was cook PERFECTLY, ordered med-rare and it came out hot pink throughout the entire steak and evenly cooked. The lasagna was amazing. Perfect layers. Flavorful. It was everything you would want when you order lasagna. I know that sounds cheesy (pun intended), but this is a dish that can easily be messed up and Tresca did not disappoint. I would 100% recommend for any special occasion OR if you just want a nice meal out. They can most certainly accommodate everything in between.

promptly seated and attended to by friendly wait staff; time given to look over the menu so not to feel rushed and food served not long thereafter allowing ample time to relax and then leave for a walk to North Station for Bruins game

The Veal Parm Chop is like nothing I've ever had. Also one of the few North End restaraunts with plenty of room. Nothing bad about this place. Chef Rich and Ray are great hosts!

Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Even as a solo diner, I was seated at a beautiful table by the window. The service and quality of food was excellent. I will definitely return.

Super personal service- from the waiter to the front desk- we even had the Chef come out to ask about our entrees after we had finished. The food itself was delicious (Seafood fradiavalo and Lobster stuffed ravioli). Also had a great view of Hanover street. I had noted in comments ‘surprise birthday dinner’ and they took it upon themselves to create a chocolate molten birthday treat. We will be back!

$28 valet parking! Meal was fine, downstairs seating was a little cold. Service was ok, not exceptional. Maybe because we visited on a Monday night.

Outstanding evening at Tresca. Chicken parm egg roll a unique starter. Swordfish Puttanesca with just the right amount of pasta was fresh, light and delicious. Perfect portions to leave room for dessert - cinnamon donut holes. Service was excellent and paced just right. Attentive but not intrusive. A truly relaxing dinner and great that Chef Ansara stops by to chat and ask about your choices. Nice wines & cocktails. Can't wait to return.

$50 Fri Diablo was terrible and only ate as I was hungry and in a rush ! To add more spice they added Sliced jalapeños in an Italian dish. Glad I went there so now I know why I never have to go back

Our server was absolutely clueless. I ordered a glass of wine from the wine list and she told me they did not carry that wine. The calamari pasty, the egg plant Parm very rubbery without flavor, The Carpaccios cut much too thick. Very disappointing. We will not go back.

We loved Trescas! We were greeted by Richard Ansara, the Owner/Chef and he was very friendly.
Richard said if we need anything prepared personally, he would gladly take care of us.
The food and service was superb. We would go back anytime!

Great find. Never been her before but we will definitely go back. Spacious upstairs seating. Service was attentive, friendly, helpful, fun. Best server I have had in a long while! Great menu of eclectic and interesting Italian dishes was fabulous. Don’t miss the stuffed meatballs!

My wife and I were extremely happy with the entire experience. The waitstaff were very helpful . Our food was delicious, and served by Chef Rich Tresca Ansara himself . We also noticed that he greated every table of guests .We will definitely will return again
