TreMonte Restaurant - North End
Not open, phone also not in service
The restaurant was closed but open table seems to have not known this. Why does open table allow you to make a reservation at a closed restaurant. This should be fixed.
The restaurant was closed!!
The place is closed
Tre Monte in the North End is CLOSED.
The restaurant was closed for renovations
Showed up for a confirmed reservation and the restaurant was CLOSED. There were other people there who also had made a reservation... on a Saturday night there was nowhere else to go.
It is a shut down restaurant. Should not be an option on this app anymore. Got a ride to the restaurant and realized it was shut down (looks like permanently) and had to find a different restaurant and wait over an hour for a table
The food was amazing and atmosphere really nice.
The service was wonderful and the Italian food was delicious!
The best kept secret in the north end
Food was delicious, server, rob ? was terrific
a great combo, for a perfect night
Great Italian food and location in the North End of Boston!
A little hesitant to go to a restaurant, but once we walked in, we felt safe. TreMonte was clean, staff wore masks and hand sanitizer was everywhere. Started with the appetizer of mussels, then had chicken paradiso and the fruitti di mare for dinner along with a bottle of sparkling rose. Ended with mini cannolis, espresso and cappuccino.
The food was delicious, add the incredible service = perfect night!
Food was delicious! Quiet evening on a Wednesday, so we were able to chat with our waiter, who was very nice.
Despite the restrictions going on in the north end, Tremonte provided an outstanding dining experience. The waiter and his trainee were great and were able to provide us details about the food on the menu. The set up outside was pretty and set off from the Main Street which provided us with an almost private dining experience. The food at Tremonte never disappoints and their recommendations for dinner were great. Thank you Tremonte for offering us a great dinner experience for our best friend’s 40th bday!
Great experience overall...I will come back
The servers were observant and accommodating with regards to seating and food/wine selections.
Arrived on busy North End Saturday evening approx 20 minutes early..... Host was very accommodating....No problem, seated right away. Bruschetta was delicious, so fresh. Bread was hot out of the oven. Server was attentive... Pork chops with peppers was outstanding, large portion and very flavorful as was the penne pink Overall great experience. Would definitely come again!
Went here for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. I know Valentine’s Day is a tough night, but from the beginning it was a bad experience. Had an 8:30 pm reservation... Waited about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us waiting at host stand while only 3 servers were running around like crazy. Finally, when we sat (there was about 4 empty tables downstairs), took 10 mins for cold bread. When waiter came over for order, he made us order drinks, apps, and entrees all at once. I was like ok fine, assuming they would space it out and were busy so didn’t think it would be a big deal. But then apps came out shortly after. Still waiting on drinks. Then had to ask again for our drinks because it was about 20 mins since we ordered them. While we were still eating our appetizers, our meals came out. Pretty disappointing, we wanted a nice long dinner so we could enjoy the night but we were out of there by 9:30pm on the dot (sitting less than an hour) It was insane.. got the impression they were slammed then they tossed all our food and drinks at the same time. Also, definitely not hand made pasta. Food was fine, nothing special. A fairish price point for below average Italian food compared to other prices at better restaurants. Won’t be going back.
The food was just ok. Bread was cold and we ordered Arancini and the inside was still cold, they were not warmed all the way through. We had chicken parm which was juicy and actually not bad. We also ordered the carbonara and it was so bland, it needed salt or some flavor badly. It was Valentine’s Day so it was very busy but they were not staffed appropriately, the bus boy was serving as host and I think there were only 2 waiters for the entire restaurant, note that the waiters and bus boy were working very hard and attentive, food was timely and they were really hustling. If the food would have been better it likely would have been a completely different experience.
7:30 reservation, waited for almost 45 minutes to be seated. Did not like maitre d. A bit abrupt. Asked us to wait at bar which was unbelievably crowded. When I told him - he said it wasn’t. He said There was room at the back. There might have been if you could get through the crowd to reach.
Once seated waiter and food was excellent.
Little confusion when we first arrived since they accidentally gave my table to someone else with the same first name ... but they had us seated quickly. Last time I ate there we were upstairs. This time downstairs. I much prefer upstairs as it was very dark down there. Food very good and had a fabulous waiter who was very attentive. I would definitely go again and ask for a table upstairs
Food was delicious. Appeared a little understaffed the night we went.
Food and service were great. Location was good too.
Fantastic quality food and good service, especially considering that it seemed like it was essentially two people running the show outside of the kitchen, with one pulling double duty as the bartender as well. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant. Good times with friends and good food! Thank you!
Birthday dinner with great food as always and great service!
I was not impressed the restaurant was freezing there was something wrong with the heating system. They sat us next to the door I did have a reservation and the restaurant was empty at the time.
Not bad, not great. Food was pretty average, even for the North End, which has a lot of average Italian restaurants. We were seated in the bar area with several big screens and a view of the alley, where we were "entertained" by a steady stream of large rats coming in and out of a building. Not the best setting or appetizing view. The room smelled of chemicals too. Didn't live up to the 4.6 on Google.
A perfect spot in the North End for dinner. Rob took great care of us. The warm bread with olive oil and other spices was so good. We had the meatballs for appetizer which were delicious. The Caprese salad was plenty for 2 or even 3. The butternut squash ravioli was superb!
Food was fresh and delicious! Service was great!
Great little spot
Really wanted to eat there recently on a Friday evening, but drove around for 40 minutes passing 3 parking lots that were full and could not find a parking space!!! Would have had to park in a lot and walk another 20 minutes back to the restaurant. Gave up. Need more valet parking. Or take an Uber!
The food is consistently good. Friday nights are especially busy. I prefer seating upstairs rather than downstairs. But service is still quite good.
Food was below average, we did go during the week. Our waiter was very nice. Restaurant had great TVs for sports. I think the wine list was extensive, but I don't drink. It would be a go to place, if the food was better. We had calamari (over cooked), chicken parmigiana (sauce and pasta was not tasty) and Veal Saltibocca (I think they made Veal Piccata by accident.) We still enjoyed ourselves. Again, we loved the waiter!
They have excellent reviews and must have just had a bad night. It took an hour and a half to get our food, which tasted off somehow and was not enjoyable. Service wasn't rude but certainly wasn't friendly.
Service was fantastic and food was delicious! I would definitely go again and have already recommended it to a couple people!
This is the only place to go in the north end for true Italian authentic food, without the tourist scene and crowds.
Great friendly staff, and delicious food!
Terrible service and just ok food. Too many good places to go so don’t waste your time and money here.
