   Food was excellent! I ordered a turkey sandwich thinking I was going to get a turkey sandwich, but low and behold it was one of a kind turkey sandwich...so tasty and exotic but yet so so so good!

   We made the reservation for 315pm but we got lost after a wrong turn. We tried calling the restaurant for directions (our cellphones' GPS weren't working properly) but no one answered. We arrived around 335pm. It was a beautiful scenery upon first impression but we couldn't let it sink in because we needed to hurry to the host/hostess to check if our reservation still stood. There was a sign in the middle of the entrance that said it was closed due to a private function. I caught the attention of an employee who listened to what had happened on our way. I told him that since we were late we understand that our reservation expired. He flatly told us "We closed at 2". I thanked him then walked back to the parking lot. So even if we made it to our reservation early/on time, we would have been turned away anyway. That's a bummer. It would've been fine if the online reservation was updated by someone from the restaurant's office to inform potential guests that there is a block for certain times due to private functions. At the very least, if someone had simply answered the phone while we were on our way there, we could have made our way back to town or somewhere else. Due to the circumstances of this review, I've rated everything at 3 stars which I believe is generally average/fair. It's a required field in order to submit this review. I'd rather not give unfair 1-star ratings out of spite or by default. I may change my ratings once I have experienced this restaurant. Perhaps this review will somehow improve or remove the online reservation feature to prevent any further confusion. Thank you for your time and I hope to try Treetops soon.

   The atmosphere was great,but really the food was served on the cold side for breakfast. I'll try going for the lunch buffet

   The buffet looked disappointing (few choices, not a lot left in tins) so we chose from the regular menu. The omlet was good, came with hashbrowns, everything a tad greasy, but a very good value. The location is terrific and it is worth eating here to then walk around the area and also the gift shop.

   Upon entry, the hostess was very friendly, so was the musician, ambiance great as before. I ordered the ginger chicken plate - it was tasty, but dry & hard, glad I had a discount coupon. Hopefully, they will make improvements, especially with food.

   We had reservations, and they tried to seat us outside. We were given a hard time about it, but eventually got an inside table. The food was ok, nothing special. Parking lot was bad, full of huge holes. Very overpriced.

   My family and I really really enjoyed our 2016 Mother's Day Brunch here. It was actually our first time in decades since we last been in Manoa and were impressed by it's beauty and serenity. The service was superb , excellent in all manners of customer service. All employees who walked near us asked if we needed anything, even the bartender who was right across serviced us greatly! Great restaurant and excellent workers... you really know how to treat your customers. AND NOT TO FORGET to mention... Great tasting FOOD! We all left happily STUFFED :) Mahalo!

    Different than what I was expecting from the description on this app. I was hoping for more of a view and a breakfast buffet but all we got was treetops (like the name suggests) and regular breakfast selection. I got the eggs, hash browns, and Portuguese sausage while my husband got the blueberry pancakes with side Portuguese sausage. The food I ordered was filling and the pancakes were enormous and you get two!! The bill was better than I expected for us, who typically spend $40+ (It was around $30 with tip). It's a bit rustic on the inside, a good renovation is needed. It seemed understaffed this morning, as if everyone was running around with their heads cut off. The staff was VERY polite though which was great given the circumstances. Seemed to flow a bit better when the second waitress showed up. It was a pretty good time overall.
