   Be ready to take sit and wait for everything. Sat down at 6:30 didn’t get finished until 8:15. Everything took forever! They were packed so maybe an off night. The food was good but not worth the slow service.

   I had the pleasure of eating here on Mother’s Day. I did miss my reservation (after it was extended unfortunately), and still I was accommodated. The service was great. There was a little wait on food, but the restaurant was packed so that was expected. I must say, it was worth the wait! I had some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had hands down. Everything complemented well & the butter on the waffles made up for not having syrup. The chicken was seasoned perfectly & the fruit added the perfect touch. My daughter had a pizza and she was so mesmerized by my food in fact, that I had to share lol My drink was recommended by the bartender and I enjoyed that as well, because the presentation was nice & after 2 drinks I was able to enjoy them enough to feel nice and not be drunk, which is important to me. I would definitely go back again and would like to order a regular entree, outside of the mother’s day specials.

   My parents were in town and we had a wonderful dinner here! The bucatini pasta is incredible, a must try!

   The servers were personable and well-informed. Every course was served promptly. The food was interesting and prepared well. It’s a pretty and comfortable place. We had a lovely time. The staff - bartenders and parking valets - made us feel welcome.

   The food here is truly outstanding. IMO, some of the best Italian food in the city. The homemade pastas are amazing. Highly recommend the cacio e pepe, the burrata and prosciutto, and the risotto croquettes to name a few.

   This place is Amazing! 5 Stars! We ordered the amber jack crudo, beet salad with Shrimp, and branzino. Best branzino we’ve ever had!

   Our original reservation was for a table in the main dining room. Upon arrival, we waited several minutes in the front lobby before being informed that the guests prior to us were taking longer than expected. We were then asked if we would consider sitting on the terrace instead. Although it was raining, we agreed after being assured the terrace was fully covered and would be a similar experience to the main dining room. Shortly after being seated, a manager hurried over to inform us we needed to move immediately due to the worsening rain. We were relocated one table over, only to watch a large volume of water begin to pour down from the ceiling directly onto the table we had just vacated. Unfortunately, our new table was still in the splash zone, leaving us to move our own table over to avoid getting wet from the growing ceiling leak. We were then moved to a third table—our third seating in under 30 minutes—damp and increasingly uncomfortable, and left to flag down our own waiter to take our drink order. It was 45 minutes from entering the restaurant to finally getting a glass of water and drinks ordered. This entire experience unfolded with minimal apology or acknowledgment from the staff, which was especially disappointing given the expectations of dining at a Berg Hospitality restaurant. I didn't expect a comped dinner, but a complimentary bread basket with an apology would've been appreciated. The food was good, but not good enough to convince me to return.

   Gorgeous restaurant with beautiful ambiance. Servers were attentive and knowledgeable. Always a consistent product. Drinks were in point and valet was prompt and easy.

    We love dining at Trattoria Sofia because it’s hard to find authentic Italian restaurants in Houston. Food was excellent.
