Chicago’s best kept secret. A must for fine dinning and quiet conversation with dinner party.
Excelent food and service. We really appreciate the explanation of the food and the suggestions of our sever as much as the dessert that gave my husband for his birthday.
Definitively will come back next time we’ll be in Chicago
This was our first visit to Trattoria No. 10, and it definitely will not be our last. The Gnocchi was so delicious it melts in your mouth and the Lobster Ravioli was the best I've ever had. The pasta could barely contain the full pieces of lobster. The food was so delicious, the service was excellent (attentive but not overly bothersome) and the ambiance was nice. We'll definitely be going again on our next trip to the area.
Food, atmosphere and service were awesome. Will be back next time we’re in Chicago
The ingredients for all our dishes, to include soup, salads, raviolis and risotto, were fresh and prepared perfectly. It was possible to tailor the amount of food, as the pasta is offered in smaller or larger portions. We were dining pre-theater and had a nicely paced 2-course meal, getting us to our show on time. We enjoyed our wine (Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio), which seemed a cut above the basic offering elsewhere. We would definitely go back.
The wait staff was not very attentive all evening.
The food however was fantastic that we ordered.
Great dinner before the show. Attentive service and nice atmosphere. Bit noisy which isn’t unusual for this sort of restaurant
Unfortunate that the restaurant is no longer open for lunch.
The Irish salmon was cooked to perfection!
We had a delightful pre-theater dinner at Trattoria No. 10! Our server made some excellent suggestions and all of our entrees were delicious! We would definitely return the next time we're in Chicago. Great location for dinner before seeing Hamilton.
We had a great time. Great food and service. I would go back.
Went before Hamilton. Only complaint was our table wAs right by the kitchen. Good and service were great.
Big, busy restaurant. Service is friendly but somewhat rote. Squash soup excellent; smoked burrata very good if you like smoked. Sea scallops large but swimming in butter; risotto with bay scallops bland. Pistachio gelato very unremarkable. Wouldn’t object to coming back here, but wouldn’t choose to come back myself.
I came for my bday . Great waitress . Knowledgeable about food
I had the squash ravioli . Was very good. If I could change anything a little less nutmeg
. Husband had the carrots a little underdone but great flavors and her loved the lobster ravioli
Great homemade ravioli (that’s they’re speciality!) Especially attentive if you’re going to a show to make sure you get in/out on time
Pre theater dinner was excellent , delicious food and very nice service
Trattoria 10 is a consistently excellent choice for Italian food in the loop. Seasonal menus, lovely flavors, and well-paired wines.
Wonderful meal ahead of the Hamilton show!! Hidden gem so close to the theatre. We would recommend to others for a fresh, Italian meal.
Excellent dining, ambience and service, accompanying marvelous dishes: the Porcellino, butternut and acorn squash ravioli with wine pairings.
I don't normally give 5 stars, but this was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The gnocchi was superb. The veal saltimbocca was excellent and my husband loved the spicy sausage 'ravioli'.
Great restaurant and had a wonderful server, Paul. Always a excellent meal.
Season dishes offered, service was exceptional, attention to needs was exceptional. Always enjoy our evening here.
A good, classs Italian, not cutting edge b ut food was quite good....But we had a huge problem, they had a pary and our food was delayed almost an hour. They dod comp us drinks, but we usually expect better seevice and an upscale re restauant.
I ordered the Gorgonzola gnocchi to start. Who would have thought Gorgonzola could be bland and flavorless!?!?! Gnocchi was very tender and well made. Wife started with prosciutto and salad with 6-minute egg. This was very good. Lobster ravioli was ok. Dish could have been warmer and was again a little bland. Wife’s pasta was ok but still could have been warmer. No time for dessert. Was about 30 minutes between courses. This was at 6:15 on a Saturday night. Wine selections by glass were good.
Great food and a really nice experience. The apple salad was underwhelming but the homemade raviolis were incredible, especially lobster!
Outstanding food and service. We say at the bar, by choice, beforehand. Wonderful wine service as well as warm bread and flavored butter
Dinner was even better. My wife had minestrone. I had delicate, magnificent ravioli as app. She had whole bronzino, which also was delicate and flavorful. I had bedlam’s saltimbocca. Again, wonderful
Service was at a high level. Much better food and experience than anticipated
Very nice evening with excellent food & attentive service.
Enjoyed new items on the menu.
The squash ravioli were to die for. I may never order anything else, I will be back for more.
Staff was attentive and gracious. We will come back soon.
Food was amazing, service amazing... 300 meal for a table underground???
The ravioli was excellent and you could not ask for a better wait staff. We went before going to the theater and let tme know we had tickets so they made sure we were to the show on time
Great option before broadway show! Highly recommend!
The only reason I didn't give all five stars was that the scallops in the risotto ( but not the rice ) were a little over salty for my taste. Other than that, the experience was great. We went at a time when a lot of people are pre-theater and in a hurry. We were not doing that so that, after the early crowd emptied out, we had a delightful and unhurried overall experience
We were going to a concert and required that dinner meet our time commitments. Our waiter immediately asked if we had plans for after dinner. He was responsive to our questions and facilitated a great meal. We did not feel rushed, had an enjoyable conversation, and got to Van Morrison in a timely way. Everything was great. It's a top spot.
It was wonderful
Service was very good and our waiter made good suggestions. We liked the roasted carrot appetizer and the Kale salad. Our entrees were very good but can't say they WOW'ed us. The only negative was that our table location was a pretty busy one so that impacted the overall experience.
Great atmosphere, wonderful service and excellent food.
Wait staff and overall service outstanding. Presentation wonderful. Ambiance inviting. Food fantastic!
Excellent meals, excellent service, very nice reception.
