They were busy and some silverware was dirty, but they took swift action to replace the silverware and the food was some of the best Italian I’ve had
WAY too crowded. Very average food. Server was not helpful or attentive.
Food and service were excellent. The only drawback is the noise - at times, I was shouting to my dinner companion in order to be heard
One of my favorite restaurants in Boston . Always exceptional
Food was excellent and our waitress was very pleasant. The hostess was very rude and not accommodating. We had a reservation for a family of 5.. We could not find parking so my husband dropped us off while he parked the car. The hostess would not allow us to sit down until all members arrived. I proceeded to tell her I would order for my husband. We will not be eating there again due to the rude service.
The food was amazing as always and the service was great and super fast. We were even taken to our table a few minutes earlier than our reservation time. Easily one of my favorite Italian places in not only the North End, but in Boston.
The food was spectacular and you get the authentic North End neighborhood experience. The lobster ravioli tastes fresh and is to die for.
Just a little too loud
Best Italian food I’ve had since I’ve been in Italy!!
Food was excellent. Glad we came
Absolutely the best Italian food I've ever had.
Too crowded for covid comfort.
Reservations were for 3 and they wouldn’t seat the two of us who arrived early . Nor reserve outdoor seating. Fortunately there was still outdoor tables when the third person arrived. They set us at a table that was really for 2 even though there was a table for 4 available. Tyumen out to be ok but I bit tight.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Crowded table seating and too noisy. All said, worth dining there
Food took super long to come. Waited an hour for 2 people. Waiter was very inattentive and the food was below average. Overall very underwhelmed.
Great family get together. Had table waiting for us right by the entrance with the window open on a beautiful night. Food fabulous as always and great waitress!!
Pricey, but excellent food and a great vibe. Would recommend for a night out.
For an Italian restaurant in the Little Italy district I had high expectations. The service was fine. We sat outside which was nice for people watching. The food was a major let down. “Is the gnocchi made fresh in house?” Yes! Guess what? Nope. Tasted bland and exactly like packaged that you can buy anywhere. Caprese salad was fine. Overpriced for the portion size. Chicken parm was flavorless. I wouldn’t go back. Too many choices that likely would be much better than this place.
The food was excellent! Our server didn’t show up very often but our food was brought in a timely fashion
I felt that the service was good but rushed. It wouldn’t deter me from going back.
The noise level downstairs was loud. Had trouble hearing the people at my own table.
Amazing food, rude server, dirty tables with bread crumbs everywhere.
It took us 30 minutes to get a table despite having a reservation. The waitstaff were incredibly rude and we were seated by trash in the basement. The waiter spilled coke while pouring for us and then proceeded to throw a straw on the table and storm off. The volume in the basement level was excruciatingly loud and unpleasant. This was all topped off with another member of the staff breaking a glass off their stocking shelf at the end of our table, not cleaning it up, and asking us to ‘be careful’ as we tried to skirt around it. Would not spend a dollar here, nor at the restaurant group it belongs to. Mediocrity was the name of the game when it came to the food, which did not compensate for the numerous other faults in anyway.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT COME HERE! Completely tourist trap- waited 30 min past reservation because only outdoor tables were available which the hostess thought was acceptable even though it was raining out. Once we were seated, our server rushed us to order and our food came out faster than McDonald’s. Server never came by to check on us and couldn’t deliver a simple request to add chicken to a pasta dish. Horrible experience and biggest waste of money. Extremely disappointing to say the least.
Wonderful Italian food. Loved our waiter. best to sit upstairs rather than downstairs.
Best italian food!
Love how the food is served fresh in pans. The food was very good. The drinks were a little more expensive than they needed to be. My really only negative is there was a bathroom smell in the main dining area that wafted to the table. Likely becuase there was one small bathroom right at the kitchen area by the tables. I’d go again but sit outside or the other side.
Food and service was good - but the place was like a sauna. Be nice if the management could set up a few fans so customers don't sweat in their pasta. Other than that, it was great.
Our meal was outstanding as always! My absolute favorite!
The food was exceptional. The calamari appetizer was enormous and scrumptious. Our party had three different main courses and the were all delicious. The service was terrific.
The service, the authentic Italian food & wine were fantastic!!! We don't have true Italian food here in California. We cannot wait to go back to this restaurant!
The food was very good. However, we were put in the basement. This could be a cozy place with stone walls and wine on the walls, but there are two large tv screens on either side of the room. I can't imagine why they are there. If they weren't it would be a totally romantic and cozy space.
Food and service mediocre
The veal was a huge hit with our table in addition to the mussels, lasagna and chicken parm. Wine selection was fantastic and the service was excellent.
Food was amazing as always. Best place in the north end!
Service was so so, but was a Saturday night. Meals were awful. I note they come out on a nice hot clean skillet, but the food was prepared several hours, maybe even days earlier. Third time there since May, and it has gone down since each time. No desserts on Friday/Saturday nights as they "are too busy with food orders". Waitress was pleasant.
Just a wonderful evening!
Food was good, service was not so good. My card was charged more than the receipt and we never got our leftovers in a box.
Everything was great! Excellent service, exceptional food.
