The place was great as well as the food and that server that we had was like no other. Older gentleman. We will be back.
Service & food were amazing. We loved Maria! Can’t wait to go back.
Good and tasty.
Homey environment, exceptional service and recommendations, and delicious food. Will definitely return!
Food was great. Not an expansive menu, but the meals they do, they do right! Chicken parm and lobster ravioli were delicious! Will definitely go back again.
The Italian Nonna took no ones nonsense and she was the coolest Nonna in the north end!!!!
Delicious food! Super busy place so our server seemed to have her hands full but she was super sweet and pleasant.
Very good food with an amazing energy of Europe on the small street. The service was wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I had an amazing experience at Trattoria II Panino. The food was some of the best Italian food I have ever had and the service was amazing. The staff really cared for their customers as well as recognizing a lot of familiar faces who were attending the restaurant and walking around the restaurant. I can't wait to go back.
Mussels and stuffed squash blossoms to start. Mom's ragu and raviolis for entree. All outstanding.
Excellent service. Nice outdoor seating in October
Horrible Service, rude host. There are too many people waiting to be seated and thus servers rush you to eat and leave. We were thrown out of our table as soon as we were done eating.
One of our fav italian restaurants in Boston’s north end. Traditional italian food prepared expertly in casual setting. Friendly and helpful staff. Consistently reliable.
Great time w relatively quick service! Sparkling water was 8 dollars but otherwise awesome food!!!
Our server started asking us if we wanted to box our food within half an hour of being at our table.
Amazing time here for a sunday dinner and drinks. Lovely waitress we had and the food was outstanding. I will definitely be back!!
We ordered drinks and 2 apps for 5 people. The reservation was at 945pm so it was meant to be an after dinner treat. We were told that all 5 of us must order a dish due to the MA law, which is completely untrue. They had multiple staff over to aggressively tell us we must order more dishes or they would take our drinks away. They ended up taking them and we left.
When in boston we always return to this restaurant... authentic italian feel with friendly welcoming owner and wait staff. Flavors are exceptional , service is prompt great wine list and overall great experience that you will remember and look forward to havng again and again.
The espresso martinis are to die for here. Also, the carbonara is flown down from heaven, not to be dramatic. But amazing food, our waitress, I believe Angelica? Was so accommodating, friendly, and really knew how to implement great restaurant service. Overall, 10/10 experience, I've been here before and will keep going.
The food was incredible! It was the best lobster ravioli I’ve had on the north end! It’s usually too salty, but this was perfect. My husband had the ribeye and was VERY happy. The only complaint that I have is that we made reservations well in advance and I confirmed, but they couldn’t find us when we got there. We’ll most definitely be back!
Food was not great and drinks were overpriced
They had us sit in the wine cellar area which was in the basement of the restaurant. If felt very unsafe as far as COVID. There were too many tables in this space with poor ventilation. The food was delicious but the seating in the wine cellar was way too risky to catch COVID.
If you can sit outside or upstairs it would be much better and much more enjoyable.
Awesome food and wine. Table next to us was loud and crude. Would go back. Excellent way to celebrate my bday
Treated family and friends. Everything was delicious. The portions enormous. This will be our go-to place when we return to Boston. Exceeded our expectations.
Delicious food. We asked to go a bit off the menu but the kitchen could not accommodate our request,
Great service, amazing food, unbeatable ambience. A must-try!
Food was outstanding and the vibe was great! The service was great, we were seated right away. The outdoor option was really nice as well.
We were here in ‘19 and couldn’t wait to return. The food was just as amazing as we remembered! We can not wait to return!!!
When we arrived for our reservation the woman at the door was telling her staff to push people out to free up tables.
We were seated on time, outside as we requested. Ordered eggplant parm and calamari well done for apps. Eggplant arrived very cold. Calamari was mushy.
Ordered 1 chicken parm well done with sauce on the side and 1 Zuppa di pesce for our main course. Chicken parm was mushy. Food arrived with sauce on the food, not on the side as we requested. The zuppa di pesce was very dry.
Would never go back here. Very disappointing.
Every time I visit the North End its my favorite place to eat
Though I had a reservation, i still had to wait. They also tried to give me the worst table in the place, so I asked for a different table, and they gave me a better one. Loved the food, server, Angel, and ambiance though!
Our waitress was amazing so sweet and had good conversation with us. Food was excellent couldn’t get enough and the service was so quick I couldn’t believe it!! Definitely will be going back and recommending to other people!!
Lobster ravioli was fantastic!! However, we felt very rushed to eat. We tried to order an appetizer and we were told that we needed to put our food orders in because it was so busy. In a restaurant like this with high priced food, you should not be rushed to put orders in/ denied putting an appetizer order in. This kind of offset the tone for the rest of our evening and caused us to order less items.
Really disappointed by the service we received at the host stand. The person who seated us was rude — I understand that their job may be hard right now due to a pandemic, but some courtesy would be nice. Prices were high, but food was good and had large servings. Don’t bother making a reservation if you want an outdoor table. Not only will it be an hour wait, but the North End is so packed that people walking by (without masks!) will just be breathing on your food.
Great dining experience. Went out to meet friends for dinner and had a great time. Food was exceptional came out in a prompt and timely manner service was good as well
Service was excellent and quick, food was delicious as always. A favorite in the North End!
Excellent calamari appetizer accompanied my delicious expresso martini! Entree was the grilled seafood platter with a wonderful assortment of fish and shellfish. My husband raved about the veal osso bucco.
The Lasagna is amazing! the Parmenter street patio was nice and warm.
One of the best dining experiences in the north end. Every time I go I am never disappointed.
