   The burger is BACK! It's that good. My coctail was excellent, husband was WAY happy with his pork chop and the two Spaniards I brought along were in love with the Beef Short Rib. They were also intrigued by the Funeral Potatoes. When 2 people straight out of Spain are happy with the food that's a good sign.

   Good service but food was disappointing. The chicken wings were undercooked and some of the feathers were still on them. The chicken entree was very salty. Honestly, cocktails were the highlight.

   LOVED the cocktail list and being able to sit outside. The service was very attentive but not overwhelming. I especially appreciate their focus on bringing creativity to many standard dishes. The miso sauce for my delicious chicken on black rice with mushrooms and egg was VERY salty. Also most as if the original stock was salted correctly but when reduced the salt content increased too much. Something for the kitchen staff to be careful to avoid. Otherwise LOVE this sweet creative restaurant and will continue to return (so don’t tell anyone else about it)😉

    The service and food were excellent at Tradition! We sat at a table in the bar area which was perfect for a dinner filled with conversation, without the bustle of the main dining area. Locally owned, clean, killer vibe with comfort food at its best!

    I looked up (Which restaurant has the best mashed potatoes in Salt Lake City) on Yelp . Tradition was rated one of the best. We had never been there, so gave it a shot. It's not a huge place so making a reservation is probably a good idea. It has a very European feel, the wait staff was attentive and the food was delicious. We ordered the short ribs and the chicken and dumplings. Both had a fusion flair that was nicely executed. If you're expecting a traditional mashed potato you won't get it here but it was tasty and I'll definitely be going back.

    We don’t make it over to tradition super often but when we do we’re always happy! Yummy cocktails, delicious food (I always get the short ribs). Husband got the chicken and dumplings and they were awesome. MIL got the the pork chop. The croquettes were hearty. We got the chicken wings which were a substantial amount. Super crispy but I felt they lacked a little flavor. Nice and tender though.

    Wonderful dinner with my husband. We were greeted genuinely by the hostess who accommodated a seating request. The bartender was amazing; cocktails were thoughtfully created and well balanced. The chef and culinary team are experts- beautiful plating and we enjoyed everything we tried. Staff provided top notch service. We will be back.

    Delicious food and drink - more than generous portions. We had a 9pm Sat reservation and there were only a handful of tables left, so it wasn’t too loud. I imagine that changes with a full house.

    We were informed when arriving that "another party has overstayed their reservation" so we were seated in the back corner next to the kitchen. Okay, not terrible. Some definite noise, some of it very amusing commentary on the orders the kitchen received. But our server seemed to be working down the street. Getting refreshed water and drinks was nigh impossible. Food was great. Very interesting variations on comfort food that we really enjoyed. Just wish we were not "forgotten in the back."

    Everything we ordered tasted great and had good presentation. Funeral potatoes are pure comfort food and the brussel sprouts and cauliflower starter was also delicious. We ordered Trout, lamb risotto and Chicken and dumplings and everyone loved their meal.

    This is the perfect place for a reunion! My friends and I love the food and ambiance of the restaurant. Each plate is packed with flavor and the cocktails are well-made. Lovely place, super close to Liberty Park.
