Have eaten at Townhouse many times. Nice pre fixe for lunch, value for money. Staff always courteous and attentive.
Always a pleasure from the atmosphere to cuisine e and professional staff!!
Everything was great except my pasta Bolognese tasted like it was prepared ahead of time. When I asked for cheese, it was that inferior pre-grated variety, Something you’d expect at the pizzeria…
The food was super, service was fantastic and the Valet Parking Crew was top notch!
Such a great meal, thank you Townhouse!
My wife’s burratini appetizer was the highlight of the entire meal. I got the Toro Tartar and it was drenched in soy sauce (couldn’t taste anything else).
My wife ordered the swordfish with bokchoy and honestly I make it better at home. The vegetables looked like they had been stepped on before they got on the plate - brown and drab - the presentation of the plate was awful (especially at these prices). I ordered the lamb - about three bites of meat and just not very good.
For dessert, we shared the sorbet and the coconut scoop suffered from severe freezer burn.
The drinks were the only plus and the burratini appetizer were the only outstanding items. Would not go there again and felt robbed afterwards
This was a very elegant setting, great menu and great service place. They also have a convenient prixe fixe menu for lunch that our group took advantage of. I am planning on going back again.
Birthday dinner. Great food and service.
Lovely room. Delicious food and wine. Great staff.
Excellent restaurant! First time here and we will definitely be back. Food was absolutely delicious. Especially loved the Caesar salad, cod and gnocchi. Beautiful atmosphere and great service!
Came here to celebrate my wedding anniversary and requested a nice quiet table. They delivered. We were placed in a room that had only a small amount of other guests and was very quiet. The drinks were well made, and the food was delicious. Everyone from the hostess to our server and the valet were all very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant for the food, company, and ambiance. Will come again.
Elegant yet fun. Terrific bar area and excellent food.
Lovely Friendly attentive staff
Attentive but not rushed
We went for lunch and had the terrine and 2 pasta dishes - it was outstanding
A great addition to the Greenwich restaurant scene. The food was great, the service really sharp, and it's a nice setting. The chicken skewers and gnocchi with mushrooms were delicious, and the prices are fair. The menu has a wonderful variety. You can stay high end with fois gras and the like, or focus on the more democratically priced items. I recommend Townhouse highly.
A relaxed lunch on a pretty patio on a quiet street. Couldn’t have been nicer. Our server was so attentive he even moved an umbrella to give us a bit more shade when sun turned towards our table!
We have been really wanting to try Townhouse and so happy we did. It was a great venue to celebrate our 10th anniversary.
Too noisy indoor
Toro Tartar was fishy and seemed the chef wanted to hide it in soy sauce.
Gnocci was dense.
Food is usually on point, at least the first time.
Everything was perfect!! Yummy!!
Lovely first time here- we ate on the quiet back patio & loved the cocktails & black cod
Starting at the bar with a delicious espresso martini set the tone for a nice evening. The good food backed it up. Their hummus on the table is yummy. The food was different and delicious. Definitely going back.
Our first visit to this restaurant and it was very positive.
Very good food and attentive service. Pretty room.
We will be back.
Our first time at the restaurant. Very good and we will return.
My boyfriend and I celebrated our 4th year anniversary here and everything from the drinks, food, ambience and service was perfect. The decor reminds me if west elm opened a restaurant with an added touch of elegance. Definitely will tell others and go back there.
The food is great everyone is nice even the parking attendent second time there and cant wait to go back everything on the menu is good even the after dinner deserts GREAT PLACE
Third time dining at The Townhouse and everything was as good as the prior times.
The food and the staff are always good.
The ambiance is very warm and welcoming...
Great food and service. Side outdoor patio is noisy due to neighbor’s A/C going on and off. Needs music or something to improve the ambience.
Great spot for drinks, would not recommend the food.
The building is charming and the restaurant decor, while old school large floor with many four tops and neutral tone, the modern paintings and lighting makes for a pleasant atmosphere. Our waitstaff was attentive and helpful. The menu is only exceeded by the excellence of the actual food. My long way of saying "great menu" and outstanding meal! I ordered a house specialty cocktail and it was fantastic. The caesar salad, tuna crudo, meze were all tops. My swordfish (chef was glad to grill it simply) with truffle potato pure and broccolini was outstanding. My companions enjoyed the gnocchi, tagliatelle with short rib, lobster salad, etc. The chocolate sundae was a fine dining dessert: artistic and decadent.
This was my first time since the restaurant changed ownership. It was so different from its former self and we really liked the new ambience! We kept trying to figure out where things "used to be!" The service was excellent and the waiters were delightful! The food was delicious! You will definitely see us there in the future!
Food was delicious. Would go back again.
Amazing ! Perfect date night. We love the bar - it’s so chic! Excellent service
Perfect food and service. Priced appropriately.
I love this place. I’ve had dinner here numerous times and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious. My favorite right mow are the scallops, simply divine! Wait staff is very attentive and the manager is wonderful. Highly recommend!
Great menu and great food - apps and entrees. Best item was the miso sea bass - most delicious, mouthwatering preparation we've ever had. Rack of lamb and the steak were perfectly seasoned, although both were slightly overcooked. We sat outside on their lovely patio. Service was well paced and servers were great. We'll definitely go back again!
So happy to have found Townhouse. The food is fantastic. Highly recommend the chicken anticucho skewers and the tuna tataki crudo appetizers. The Maine lobster salad was fantastic and not to be missed. Wonderful black crusted rack of lamb too. The churros for dessert are delicious. Can't wait to visit again.
A beautiful setting, a gracious dining scene. The bar area is just gorgeous. The dining room tables are a bit too close just coming off the pandemic. There are two tables on the porch for outside dining.
The service people were well trained and were flawless except for a bit slowing down as the evening progressed. Fortunately, the restaurant was not full. I suspect that they are having a staff shortage similar to most restaurants lately. The food was interesting and delicious. Each of us had a fish dish and they were all correctly prepared.
Valet parking is very convenient and fast.
Excellent meal and great drinks...including a mix drink with Uncle Nearest (my husbands favorite bourbon). The lamb chops were AWESOME. The lobster salad was fresh and tasty, not sure that I would order it again (creative set of ingredients(. We had the jumbo shrimp and colossal crab appetizer. Yum.
