Spent a nice birthday dinner here. Went a little earlier in the day, 5pm, but it was amazing! The service was fast, food was amazing; appetizers, seafood, and dessert all with great flavor and cooked to perfection! All the staff were friendly and efficient. The only downside, once it got a little later in the evening it became a little hard heat and talk over the other patrons and music. I think this venue for groups would be super fun!

Family went out ( all adults ) for day-after-mother's-day dinner. WE dressed up as that was the vibe I got from the website. Was very wrong. It was full of groups ranging 4-8 people per table that looked post-work hangout. Dressed in casual clothing and even athletic gear. All female employees were in short dresses/skirts/hells, midriff optional. The food was good but had very basic flavors. The jambalaya tasted more tomato-pasty than creole flavors and the rabbit in my pasta dish was overcooked and the entire dish lacked flavor. The meatloaf tasted like meat but was cooked well. Everything pretty much needed salt and something else. The server that helped our server had no desire to help and brought our drinks to the table and spilled them all over and walked away. Our assigned server thankfully took care of the mess and comped the round. Drinks were good! I felt like I was in a bar and not in a restaurant with a $200 bill. I would go back for drinks with friends and I really want to do breakfast/brunch but at least now I know the vibe and not to care so much about how to dress.

Took my mother her for Mother’s Day and really thankful we had a reservation because it was packed! We were seated right away by a window and had great service. My mom’s from New Orleans so I knew it was going to be hit or miss but it was definitely a hit! The crème brûle trio was to die for! Really cute place, highly recommend.

We were late due to heavy traffic and they held our reservation to 5:45pm after I phoned. Food was great, very busy due to the Pink concert down the street. All and all a nice time

All of the food was terrific, the dozen oysters (3 different varieties), the halibut (so fresh and so delicious), the gnocchi with the mushrooms and even the chicken. The service was not invasive and the meal was perfectly timed with the food being just the right temperature and doneness. We need to return!

The food was out of this world. I had the Garlic/Anise Boar Sausage and pasta the sauce had a pleasant kick and heat to it. The Ginger Whip was tasty as was the Sazerac. My significant other had the Wild Boar and Lamb Shoulder boulanase which she said was amazing and flavorful. Overall the atmosphere and food make Toulouse Petite a stop I will recommend and visit again.

Our favorite Seattle restaurant. The staff is amazing. The customers are friendly and welcoming. This was our third time eating at this fabulous restaurant. The food is perfect. You are in danger of eating too much because the sauces are addicting. Our waitress was so special. We told her how much we love this restaurant. She told us she wished she had known sooner and she would have introduced us to the owner. The owner had just left. Next time we hope to meet him. He certainly created an amazing dinning experience. We will be back!

As always, the food and drinks at Toulouse Petit are exceptional! The wait staff is excellent and whoever decides what music to play should be given a raise! (lol) All around one of the best premier restaurants in Seattle!

Had the WORST rudest server I've ever encountered in my life. She only filled up our waters once out of almost 2 1/2 hours.of being there. It took her exactly 34 minutes to run our debit cards for payments. She said a smart remark to us for no apparent reason. I have never had such poor service in my entire life. The place was nice. But due to her horrible service it over shined how well the food was. I paid a lot of money, and unfortunately my friend had a horrible birthday due to our server. She caused us to be extremely late to our next event. We had to ask other servers to please bring us water. The place was full. But not so full that she was distracted for two and a half hours and ignored us. Very poor service and fortunately I will never forget that experience!

The shrimp basil pesto and the fried green tomatoes with crab are delectable. A must try if you like creole French style cuisine. Great for group dining.

My husband, who studied cooking in NOLA, was afraid to order the gumbo for fear he'd be disappointed -- he was NOT. The food here is exceptional. The pasta is made there, the sauces are perfection. I had the braised rabbit and prosciutto pappardelle. The sauce was light and flavorful - more like an au jus. My husband had the gumbo, a friend had the risotto and seared scallops. She remarked that it was the perfect ratio of risotto to scallops - not a mound of risotto to plow through - just the right amount. I forget what my other friend had, but I know it included wild boar sausage, and he was VERY pleased. If you order their house salad with your meal, split it. A wonderful meal and experience, and prepared and served with time for us to get across the street to Seattle Rep Theater for our show.

Perfect dinner date and awesome brunch!
My bf and I love creole food so this place is THE spot! Never been to Seattle so we were going based on reviews and were only eating seafood. A lot of locals suggested this place as well which made it more exciting to go.
If we were to visit Seattle again, this place will definitely be at the top of our list. Eat ANY of their seafood dishes! Their cocktails are pretty delicious as well and the ambiance feels Seattle-ish.

The service is too overwhelming. We just got our sits, we are celebrating my husband for his birthday with our 8,6 years old children. The waitress came 4x to ask if we are ready to order for drinks. We haven’t even seen the drinks list yet. The food came very fast it’s almost very stressful we ordered the 3 courses menu. The ambiance was nice but very noisy. The food is good though.

This was my first time at Toulouse Petit, and we all took advantage of the Seattle Restaurant Week menu. My wife and I are vegetarians, and although there are limited vegetarian selections, the restaurant did a wonderful job accommodating our culinary needs. We started with grilled asparagus, followed by ricotta gnocchi with butternut squash, hazelnuts, and hedgehog mushrooms. Both dishes were superb--flavorful, very well cooked and seasoned, and yummy. The desserts are definitely Southern style, the pecan pie being one of my wife's favorite desserts ever. I really enjoyed the beignets (and I am not a donut person). They were very light and not too sweet or oily. The service was excellent.

My wife said she was very disappointed, and I agree with her.

Actually, it was mainly her risotto, it was undercooked and the scallop were smelly.

My fish was fine, and my daughter loved her pasta.

I guess in the end, the dessert was a big problem. We all didn't like it. It tasted something like we can buy from a supermarket. Not fresh.

Wonderful candlelit atmosphere. Great service. Varied and interesting menu. Lots of wine and bubbly and beer choices. Pasta steak seafood. Cajun style (spicy) with french techniques. Loved the handmade gnocci with pork shoulder. Tender and delicious. Creole salmon was also wonderful. Awesome pecan pie. Excellent service. We will definitely go again :)

This could of been a great dining experience. Unfortunately the service was a let down. Waitress had no food recommendations and didn't check-in on us. In fact she said hardly anything to us at all except for a thank you when she had to drop off the bill.

Toulouse Petit is astoundingly good! We haven't been in about 8 months and not only does just reading the menu make my mouth water the food did as well. If you were there on Saturday March 30th and you heard some moaning I'm positive it was either my wife or me enjoying our meal. I started with the crab and green fried tomatoes and she had the prosciutto wrapped asparagus. We swapped halfway through just to see what the other person was oohing and ahhhing about and discovered immediately why. She followed up with a rabbi pasta and I had the bbq shrimp and grits. Not sure that we needed the Bananas Foster dessert but we were feeling decadent and it didn't disappoint either. We will be back and we will explore additional parts of the menu! It was truly fabulous and if someone does better food in Seattle please tell me about it so that we can go there next.

My wife and I went here after work. I had the Big Easy Jambalaya and she had the pan seared chicken with hedgehog mushrooms. Both were excellent. The price is very good for the food you get.

Very nice restaurant. Great staff! Parking is limited. I wasn’t super impressed with my burger, but the fries were spicy and good. The others at my table really liked The Lucie and the jambalaya.

Fortunately the food was awesome because the service was so bad it was laughable. We decided to make it a fun time anyway since it was my husband's birthday but when the server is just downright rude to you it's amazing that a restaurant can stay in business. Food, on the other hand was fantastic, the prosciutto-wrapped asparagus was delicious and everyone's main course was great too. In the end they threw in our dessert free because I think the server realized how painful the night had been for us interacting with her. Hopefully this isn't the standard!

This restaurant applied a "living wage surcharge" despite not disclosing this fee on the menu or website, which is required by law. It is an absurd charge for an expensive restaurant. The cost of compensating employees should be included in the listed prices of every item on the menu. Not disclosing the charge is a form of false advertising. In addition, there are other regulatory costs besides a minimum wage that are included in the listed costs of items. For example, the restaurant doesn't charge a separate fee for sanitizing the restaurant.

This is a good restaurant, but insulting the customer with this hidden charge is a great recipe for the customer never wanting to come back.
