A wonderful experience with delicious food from the kitchen and great front of house service. Love going here but it's hard to justify the $200 price tag for a casual meal. The crab gnocchi is a must have.

Pros: Excellent food! Great cocktails. Unique cool ambiance. Cons: 5% “living wage” service charge added to all checks. Rather expensive ($35+ for nearly all entries).Rather loud. Not a fan that the bar’s tvs are visible throughout the entire restaurant (personal pet peeve).

As someone from the south, I was super excited for some creole inspired cuisine! Come to my surprise, the most southern thing about this place was the insane noise level and the fact we were seated next to an arguing couple for our whole hour experience. We had made reservations for 1:15pm and were texted "your table is ready!" just to be greeted at the door with a ten minute wait while they cleared off three tables and sat us at the worst one (right next to the utensil station on my girlfriend's birthday even when we had reservations?). Our actual server saw us maybe twice to grab the orders and drop the check off, but the hostess who was seating people was also our food and drink runner our whole service time. She seemed worked to death and I felt bad for her but she kept a great composure. On top of being seated next to an arguing couple and a bussing station, the music was so loud that my partner and I couldn't even hear each other. Now for the food - we had come for the all-star beignets. It was my partner's bday after all, she deserved something delicious! However, these beignets are nothing of a New Orleans origin - they're doughy, thick, basically puff pastry with powdered sugar. it was a meager 3/10 if that. Then we ordered plates, all expensive as you'd suppose with a restaurant like this, to have our plates delivered hot on the bottom but the food cold on top. I have a lot of empathy for people in food service, but this was 40 minutes in, and we genuinely had had enough. We quickly scarfed down our cooled off eggs benedict and croque monsieur just to pay a $140 bill and leave as soon as our legs could carry us out the door. For a 4 star restaraunt, I truly expected better and for "the best beignets in seattle," I'd honestly suggest y'all make them at home for cheaper and better.

This was my second time dining here and, unfortunately, the second time did not meet the standard of the first. I love the space - all of the votives, tile work and windows create a lovely ambiance. It was a bit too loud, to the point where we had difficulty hearing one another across the table, but it was Saturday evening approaching happy hour so, to be expected. Our table was right next to the serving station which wasn’t ideal as this meant we were constantly hearing the clanking of silverware and glasses. My partner’s glass was broken which we had to bring to a server’s attention. In regard to the food, we found the dishes to be over seasoned — the burrata was too heavy on the basalmic and the French onion soup was overpowered with chervil. Still tasty, but some of the other flavors we would consider characteristic of the dish were unfortunately lost. The entrees were huge and overall enjoyable. By far and away the best part of our meal were the beignets. We will likely return in the future for happy hour and small plates/beignets rather than a full dining experience.

I was visiting Seattle and this place was recommended to me however I know I won’t be back. The service was terrible, the server looked like she didn’t care about her tables. We were charged regular priced items when we ordered originally from happy hour. (I booked the reservation under happy hour) We were a party of 4 and they added the automatic gratuity! 20% (70 tip). When I asked to change the items to happy hour prices they blamed us for not reiterating we wanted the happy hour price. Keep in mind this is our first time here so how we’re we supposed to know. It’s the servers job to confirm everything when taking the order. They also didn’t take off the automatic tip. No where on their menu it states it would be automatically included. The manager apologized but I know he could’ve done more. It seems like he sighted with the server more simply because of how young we look. So sad.

A friend of ours lives in Seattle and recommended Toulouse. It was one of our favorite experiences for a delicious dinner. The wait staff guided us on what to eat while doing so with a great sense of humor. The ambience and the lighting were fantastic and it wasn’t too loud in there. now I know why it is voted one of the best happy hours in the United States.

Amazing restaurant with amazing food and amazing service. The portions are huge. The flavors are fantastic. We were recommended to go here at the airport, and we were so glad that we went based on the recommendation. Now we're going to recommend Toulouse to everyone who's traveling to Seattle.

What a cool experience! The menu is HUGE so it might be beneficial to check it out before arriving. Service was fast, friendly and impeccable. Blackened rockfish on grits might be one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. Crab on fried green tomatoes too.

Oysters were tiny, bathrooms had graffiti, ambience was great but the tvs seemed like a weird choice. Creme brûlée was all Creme no brûlée. Service was great and got great wine recommendations. The mussels were a most and the duck confit was delicious. Jambalaya was great. “Rice was perfect”.

I really wanted to love this place: ambiance and menu were great. But ultimately the food didn’t live up to the menu descriptions. The food lacked freshness and pizzazz. Sauces tasted a day old. Shrimp was over done. Spices were unremarkable.

One of the best options in Seattle Center area for a up-scale dining experience (there are surprisingly few such options in the area - not sure why?). Extensive menu. Fairly pricey, but food is great and atmosphere is super.

Tolouse Petit & Kitchen Loungs is simply the best restaurant in PNW! Food is exquisite, you can order anything from the menu and it will be your best meal up to date. Service is outstanding and interior is so cozy, especially after sunset, when hundreds of candles are lit.

Wonderful Mother's Day Experience! Our server was outstanding, as were all of our food and drinks. The only downside is we got a text saying our table was ready but when we got there, there was no table and they apologized that all they had was a two top bar table. It was packed so we happily took it but a regular table or booth would have been nice considering I made this reservation months ago and we got a text that our table was ready. All in all, fantastic place, fantastic food and it's understandable that they were slammed on Mother's Day.
