   The food at this restaurant is very good... delicious in fact... but the restaurant needs better management. It is very expensive with the price-point of some 5 star restaurants, but the service/ambiance/cleanliness does not match a 5 star restaurant. I ordered a cocktail from their cocktail menu list (one of their signature drinks) but was told that they did not have all of the ingredients. My friend went to the restroom and afterwards told them there were no paper towels in the restroom to dry her hands. I went to the restroom about 3 minutes later. Two rolls of paper towels had been placed on the counter (still in the paper towel plastic wrappings), but there was toilet paper on the floor that had not been cleaned up while they were in there - they just left it there. Patchogue is a competitive town from a restaurant perspective, and based on this restaurant's location, price-point, and service, they are going to struggle if they can't do better than this. Perhaps it's the reason that during our visit on a Saturday night from 7-9pm, they weren't packed with customers. For 5 people with 4 alcoholic drinks and no dessert, our bill was $265. We ordered 1 cheese tray for the table and 2 tapas each. That's really pricey...

   Awesome! Every time. We love the paella and haven’t found an appetizer that we didn’t love. Our neighborhood fave. Cannot wait to go back!

   Went the Friday before Memorial Day. While the rest of east patchogue was very crowded, not so much here. Food was very good, I’ve eaten Paella so often I’ve stopped ordering it. Took a chance here and was so glad I did. Seafood was tender, rice was moist but not soggy, seasonings right on. Possibly the best paella I’ve eaten. 3 tapas as apps and all were tasty, tender, and made to order. Server was attentive, competent, and sweet as sugar. Excellent last minute choice for an unexpected date night with my honey. Don’t miss this place.

   What a great dinner and experience overall! Manager Shawn and Gabby our server were so attentive throughout our dinner. Amazing food, amazing vibe and incredible night at Toro! Recommend the meatballs and any one of the crowuetas. Awesome presentation and equally amazing flavor!

   Came here for a night out with my fiancée. Service was very good. There was a large party in the dining area and we sat in the back but never felt as if we were forgotten. Tried the sliced meat plate and octopus (excellent) for an appetizer. Then had the meat paella which was fantastic. Lastly, coconut flan for dessert. What a nice gem in Patchogue. Will definitely come back.

   My wife and I were impressed that the music played on Wednesday evening was very appealing: melodic, appropriate sound level, & Hispanic in character. The food was very good, and our friends, who are passionate about food, regardless of the specific cuisine, were truly pleased with the meal, as we were. On our previous visits to Toro Tapas & Tequilla, the sound level was much louder, and we decided that this restaurant might not be the best one for us, but this evening with friends proved us wrong: just about everything went right this time.

   Very average experience. Food was very good, however they were out of almost every wine on wine list. They need to have new menus printed as they are covered with stains . Also for a tequila bar they had a much smaller selection then I would have expected. The staff were friendly and attentive though. The ambiance was strange in my opinion. In one word the place is unpolished. Could be excellent if problems were addressed.

    We were in from out of town and opted for tapas. Toro was amazing! Every small plate was meticulously prepared. The drinks were excellent. And, our server was incredible - he was personable, gave great recommendations and showed up at just the right moments to check in with our table. He enhanced the overall dining experience! I highly recommend Toro Tapas & Tequila! We’ll be back!
