   We ate at Toro when it first opened. The food was fantastic. We went back there, recently, to eat again, expecting the same food. Boy, were we wrong. You could tell that it had been previously prepared, then frozen, then heated up to serve. I had a Luchador burrito and there were two thinly sliced strips of pork on it. There was some rice and beans, but none of the other foods were in it, such as the crema, cheese and fries. My husband ordered the chimichanga and the chicken inside was frozen. The other person in our party couldn't even eat what she ordered. We all agreed that there was little to no alcohol in the margaritas. What a shame. A decent Mexican restaurant in Bozeman would do fantastic. It was a busy night in Bozeman, but not at Toro, and now, we know why. On a positive note, the servers and hostess are extremely friendly and do a great job. It has got to be hard to serve people, when obviously, the food is subpar. We all agreed that we should have gone to Taco Bell instead.

   Took my daughter and her roommates here during my visit. Loved everything about it and Toro will be a new must for all future visits!

   This is our 2nd time at Toro. Our 1st experience was not great, however we are firm believers in 2nd chances. The food here has not improved. This is not tex-mex nor Mexican. The burritos are a gut buster. They weigh about 5 lbs and are not appetizing. The meet is tough and overcooked and the burritos are filled with fries, beans, rice, and overcooked meet. Terrible. Made us all want to hurl afterwards. The only thing good about this place are the chips. The salsa is not good at all and the smokiness overpowers any spice it once had. Save your money and go to a taco bus or somewhere else. It's a shame Bozeman lacks a quality Mexican or tex-mex restaurant.

   We travel to Bozeman, MT every year and enjoy the restaurant scene there. We found Toro last year and liked it so much we came back the next night to try more menu items. It was fantastic. Not so this year (2018). It started with being seated at an inside wooden picnic table with kid size metal chairs. Not comfortable. The menu has obviously changed since last year and is nothing to rave about. Limited selection and nothing really unique. Typical Mexican fast food would be a better description. The wait staff wasn't pleasurable to interact with either. They were rushed and seemed irritated taking our order. We apparently weren't fast enough. You know the feeling- Turn over those tables! Next! *Ugh. We won't be coming back. Way too many better dining options in town.

   As other reviews have said the food is great with a little spice. The spicy guacamole was great! Loved my Mojito! Would definitely recommend this place for a date or dinner with friends.

   I was bummed at the small menu variety and lack of options. However, most of the food we got was pretty good. I loved the chips and salsas, but that was probably the only reason I’d go back. I also had the feeling that Toro was an upscale restaurant but it gave off more of a festive, party atmosphere (which was great, but not fitting for our event).

    We’ve visited twice. Once in April and again in August. The interior decor changed for the better. However the picnic table style only works well for two people. If you have a family of four two people are straddling the table legs.
