Worst experience ever. Only one elevator was working so it took ten minutes to get to the restaurant. Then service was very slow and a disaster. First I asked for a burger with bacon on the side, and my mom asked for a burger with no bacon as she does not eat pork. My burger came without bacon and I had to remind them about my side bacon. For my mom the burger came with the bacon on it. Therefore, they had to make a whole new burger which meant my mom’s food did not come until ours was cold and we gad eaten it. The cherry on top of it all was that it was my sisters 21st birthday and I had brought two cakes. I specified which cake was for the birthday girl and that it needed to be brought out whole so we can do the candle blowing and first cut. THE CAKE CAME ALREADY CUT IN FOUR PIECES. Then we were given no utensils and the staff barely checked on us. I had to physically get up to get forks while the two women managers were sitting at the bar and chatting. When the bill came I was still charged for the cake cutting which was so audacious of them after ruining my sisters 21st birthday. I had to go hunt down the staff to ask for that to be taken off. And then again had to hunt down someone to get a box for the cake as we didn’t get to eat it. The least they could have done was also take off my mom’s burger which they messed up but nothing. Not the manager coming to apologize after multiple mistakes and failure of checking on us. Also, when trying to pay the bill I had to once again hunt someone down, which at that point I honestly should had left and not paid the bill. How are you going to just leave as if you don’t have a customer; WHO IS TRYING TO PAY AND ALSO LEAVE. Worst experience ever would not go back. Also they weren’t busy for me to blame the issues on the staff being busy.

Such an excellent and unique venue, with spectacular views of the city and a relaxed, diverse crowd. Food (Rockfish curry for me!), wine and cocktails were excellent, and our server Josh was first rate. Really enjoyable evening!

The food was enjoyable. We made our reservation through open table for 1:45 pm without looking at the Topside website. Unbeknownst to us the kitchen closes between 2 and 3 pm. We got attitude from the host and our server as well as glares from a staff member dressed in all black that I assumed to be the kitchen staff. As a former host, I understand it was inconvenient to have a table, but I also understand the restaurant controls availability on Open Table. The Topside team should not take 1:45 reservations they want to shut down the kitchen at 2.

The views are amazing. The food was good but a bit pricey. Drinks were also a bit pricey. Overall we had a nice date night and ended our night at the speakeasy located in the hotel, which was a also a great time.
