Downtown Austin’s first Topgolf Swing Suite has arrived and is located inside Austin Taco Project restaurant and bar. Topgolf Swing Suite is the most advanced golf and interactive gaming simulator available to rent for fun, interactive social gatherings or private practice sessions. The Topgolf Swing Suite features a variety of virtual games – including popular Topgolf target game, Zombie Dodgeball, Hockey Shots, Baseball Pitching, Carnival Classic and more – paired with comfortable lounge seating, an HDTV and delicious food and drinks from Austin Taco Project.

Up to eight people can play, eat, drink and hang out in the suite; or larger parties up to 80 guests can book a Party Package that comprises the Topgolf Swing Suite and private event space containing other games such as foosball, Pac Man, shuffleboard, and more!

Honestly, this place has so much potential. I only ranked it low because the sensors didn’t work well. So most of the games didn’t work. Also it would nice to have a server come back to check on people from time to time to see if they want anything. Nobody ever came back.

READ BEFORE BOOKING – Especially if you're going for the simulator (TLDR Below) The staff was fantastic, friendly, and attentive, which made the visit more enjoyable. The food and drinks were also solid, and I’d definitely return just for that. That said, the simulator experience was disappointing. It was clearly out of calibration: it often failed to register shots, and the alignment was way off, making gameplay frustrating and inaccurate regardless of stance or ball placement. The other simulator-based games had similar issues. It's unfortunate because the concept is great, and with proper maintenance, this could be a top-tier spot. I hope management takes this feedback to heart, either by recalibrating the systems regularly or adjusting the pricing until things are resolved. As it stands, I wouldn’t recommend the simulator package—even if it were free. TLDR: Great staff, good drinks, but skip the simulator.

This was a great experience! We were a party of 7 and had an awesome time. Our waiter kept our drinks filled and delivered hot food in a timely manner. We booked this as a small family party for my adult son with autism and it was absolutely perfect. We were there on a Saturday 11:30-1:30 and it was quiet, the games were amazing and the service was a 10!! We will be back for sure! Many thanks!

Staff was extremely helpful but this experience is lackluster. Spent 30 mins of the hour waiting to get the simulator fixed. Again, the staff was great, but the experience wasn’t. Waste of 65$

The concept was fun when it worked. We waited 30 mins for someone to come fix the simulator because it wasn’t registering anything. Early on the service was great. But halfway through our two servers were gone and the bartender had to come check on us while dealing with tables and the bar. In theory this could be great, just needed someone designated to this role specifically.

We took our family to the Top Golf swing suite and had so much fun !! There was a variety of games to play—golf, soccer, dodgeballl, baseball pitching , Hockey … Margaritas were delicious and the queso was so tasty. Service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be going back.

The game room was run. 2 hours is perfect to roll through all the games if you have 4+ people. The queso, fish tacos and burritto were amazing
