The setting is the charming part of this restaurant overlooking the San Diego Bay. The wait staff were top notch and our food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our beet salad was filled with adequate chunks of beets and flavorful dressed greens. The flavor of the roasted salmon was perfect but the purple roasted carrots were still hard and difficult to cut. We tried the sun chokes as a side vegetable and they were tasty. of course the key lime panda cotta with white chocolate was superb. We all bought fresh fish from the showcase on the main floor. The huge shrimp were the best flavor and the salmon cooked up nicely at home. This is a destination restaurant for our San Diego visits.
Had dinner with a friend and ate at the counter near the grill. Always a great treat to see how your food is actually prepared.
Austin was running the grill and served us up some sample apps that were great. Followed that with Crab Cakes and Scallops. So buttery and cooked to perfection.

We were there this last Sunday, as always first class, when ever in San Diego it is our go to. The cold sea food platter for 2 is so worth the$.
The food was delicious and our servers were great!! Really enjoyed our night!!
