Although we ate brunch at Joe's waterfront downstairs from the Top Catch, the menu was the same, we were told, and it was excellent. We were there around 9:30am, so it was quiet. Ingredients were fresh (the hash was hand-made). All four of us enjoyed everything. The view of Boston Harbor was wonderful, and the service attentive. Very nice experience!

When we arrived the restaurant was nearly empty at 5:30 on a Friday evening. We were excited since we were seated at the corner table overlooking the water which was great. From there everything went downhill. The table was set on a dirty table. We needed to call the waiter to wipe the table. We ordered our meal (2 adults 2 kids). It is nice they have a kids menu. It took forever for the meals to be delivered. The adult meals were delivered then eventually the kids (should of been delivered all at the same time). Our son when he ordered his chicken tenders had requested barbecue sauce. The waiter when he finally delivered the chicken tenders stated he had to go downstairs to get the barbecue sauce which took another long time. Considering how slow the service was and he had not forgotten one would of thought he would of retrieved the barbecue sauce earlier and delivered all the meals together. The food itself was lackluster with little taste except heavily on the salt side. I would not suggest going to this restaurant unless you like the location and that they have a reasonable priced kids menu. If you expect decent food and service as well go someplace else. There are two restaurants at this location owned by the same company. The downstairs restaurant was far more crowded and might be better though it seemed to be more of a pubish type of place with a decent bar crowd. One last point the picture on OpenTable shows white tablecloths. The tables had no table cloths, they were basic low end restaurant tables. The site portrays a level of restaurant it is not

Ottima posizione tra l'acqua e le torri, vista gradevole, atmosfera rilassata e forse un po' desolata (ma era domenica sera!), buon cibo benché le dimensioni di ostriche ed aragosta ricordassero più il Mediterraneo che l'Atlantico, personale giovane e molto cordiale. Sospetto il locale sia più noto per l'happy hour che per la cena, considerando che l'area bar era gremita e si allunga all'esterno a bordo acqua...

Pictures show white table cloths which did not exist. Only 2 staff members working and could not keep up, need to staff more for a Saturday night. Would need to see some improvements before recommending

Our meal at Joe's can only be described as repulsive. My boyfriend ordered fried eggs and there was a pool of liquid on top. I had the lobster frittata which smelled strongly of bad fish. It was covered in cheese that had congealed and could be peeled off in one sheet. I physically couldn't eat it. It's a shame because it's a beautiful location and I've had decent meals at other Joe's locations before, but I would strongly advise that you check out one of the other many restaurants in the area.

I actually wasn’t able to rate the food because after 15-20 mins of sitting at the table, our waiter still didn’t show up. Ended up walking out.

Upstairs was quiet, thank goodness as downstairs was a mad house. Bread was to die for, so good and it saved the meal. overall slow service. food was okay, stew was not good, luke warm and 4 pieces of meat. we waited so long for drink 1 we didnt bother ordering more.

I took my mom there for her birthday the waitress was phenomenal I have never experienced anyone like her I can not remember her name but she even came outside to take a pic of my sister me and my mom, I wish I could remember her name But I do remember she lives I n Brookline. She made me taste food I've never had before like the tuna and the food was amazing so now because of her I like some seafood, thank you for such great service and awesome food!

The Lobster Risotto was delicious!! Lots of large lobster claw chunks in both the risotto and the lobster roll. The waitress was not very good...forgetful, didn't know anything about the menu either.
