                                        Both the tenderloin and Lin were very tender and delicious. The sauces were perfect for the katsu and cabbage. Rice was perfectly cooked and very good. Rice Factory rice is always so delicious even on its own. Would recommend Tonkatsu Kuro to friends and family.

                                        All our food came out quickly and hot. The breading on the tonkatsu is light, but they could give more rice in the bowl. Our daughter said the lemon soba noodles didn't have a strong flavor, which is good for her. And my husband loved the side curry so he could pour it over his rice. We'd come back again.

                                        We were looking forward to trying this new modern tonkatsu restaurant. Parking is close and convenient. Food and atmosphere is fair. Use of robot servers was a novelty.

                                        Service - Excellent! Food - Excellent. In and out withing one hour. BYOB too! We had the combo with the Soba and that was sooo delicious! We want to go again!

                                        We tried Tonkatsu Kuro for the first time and we enjoyed the food but the service was definitely interesting. We order through the tablet system, so you are not talking with a server until your food is there. Then, they have the robots to bring your food to your table, but you cannot touch the food on the cart so a server has to follow the robot to place the trays on the table. The concept of the robots may still be new to this restaurant but I still find it interesting and maybe a waste of time for the servers to follow behind the robots. The robots once were next to each other and the server had to manually override them so they wouldn’t bump in to each other. Also, there was about 6-7 servers for a capacity room of maybe 50 people(?) but they would stand near the front and weren’t really checking on the tables. We waited maybe 10 minutes to flag down a server but they had their backs to the customers while they were talking to each other. Because the server to customer ratio was pretty low, I would think they would be moving around a little more to check in rather than kind of standing around. Overall, the food was pretty good, but they seemed to rely on the robots and not check up on the tables too often, either for water, napkins, etc.
